Hey everyone! I hope you enjoy this video of me trying on my closet to explore how I look in different colors. I also 100% misspelled “fuchsia” in the video titles. Forgive me! 🥰😘
Light blue, turquoise, fuscia, purple are all absolutely stunning with your silvers. The greens look really great, too, and the light pink is so pretty and soft looking with your hair. The beige, brown and muddy colors aren’t the best. That was fun.
Thanks, Lynn! 🥰😘 I learned a lot by doing this and I think everyone might enjoy doing something like this at home. I agree with you-the muted earth tones aren’t really flattering me the way jewel tones do now. 🤩🤩
So great to find someone who has similar neutral skin, dark hazel eyes and bright silver hair, albeit many, many years younger! Seeing all those different colours on you has finally given me clarity on my own choices. All too often neutral skin is missing from most colour analysis and I now understand why it is that I could wear colours from both warm and cool wheels over the years. This is by far the best presentation I've found and I thank you for demonstrating it so well.
💖 this was such a lovely comment to read. I’m so glad it was helpful to you-I know I’ve been confounded by my coloring over the years! I enjoyed making this and I was surprised when I was editing this video that my eyes saw myself anew. I think I need brighter colors and I’ve avoided them much of my life. Anyway, so glad that you found it helpful. 😘😘
Thank you, this was fun and helpful. I’m going through the same process with clothes and makeup. It’s kind of hard to say goodbye to colors that I loved for so many years-but I’m welcoming new ones. 😊
Debbie, yes I know just what you mean. I think soft tan and cream are less interesting to me now, but rich purple, bright pink and Kelly green are feeling right. 🌈

I’m so glad you’re here! I hope you have a blast exploring your options. I’ve been wearing more vibrant scarves to add that gorgeous punch of color to my neutrals. 🌈
I found that video so charming, and it's SO NOT something I would ordinarily watch at all. I was just about to buy some turtlenecks for the winter and after losing my hair to cancer and then having it grown in snow white with touches of gray I was curious about color-picking and found this in search. The woman, the model, Beth - she has such charm, ease, and confidence without arrogance, truly lovely. She should be some kind of star for her grace and elan. Bravo, very helpful and...I think I'll subscribe, which is also super rare for me!
Thank you, Tamara! Those colors would really be beautiful on you. This was so fun to make and now I think I’ll look for more colorful items when I shop. 🥰😘
Thank you for doing this. I have worn scrubs for 20 years. Now that I wear business casual to work, and also let my hair go grey, your video is very helpful! Thanks again! You give off a lovely disposition.
Thank you kindly! I can relate to the feeling experience of having to navigate a new workplace dress code. I’m trying to get comfortable in a more casual environment after decades of business formal.
Really interesting video. Think you look really good in the deep jewel colours rather than pale pastels. They really show off your silvers. I also find that navy and charcoal are more flattering to my complexion than black as I get older. Have to tell you, my hair had 15 months of grow out with my natural hair being bright silver/white and my ends being a horrible orangey brown. My hair was about the same length as yours, but my hairdresser came round on Friday and I decided I couldn't stand the dyed hair anymore so I got her to chop it all off into a stacked Bob, (shorter at the back and longer at the front) and I absolutely love it as I now only have a few tiny blonde brown tips at the front end of my hair which look like subtle highlights and the rest of my hair is my own God given natural beautiful silver/white hair. It's a little darker at the back but really bright at the front and I love it. I hadn't planned on losing it all this haircut thinking it might be my next couple of haircuts before I would get rid of all the dyed hair, but the more she cut it off the braver I became and them I couldn't wait to lose it all. I feel so relieved to be rid of my horrible orangey brown dyed hair and am looking forward to letting it grow all being my own natural hair from now on. I am going home to Ireland on Tuesday for 2 weeks and I know I will probably get some shocked reactions to my transition but I don't care, I love it and that's all that matters. Despite being one of the younger ones of my friends, I'm the first one to become a silver sister so I know some of them won't like it, but maybe I'll convince some of them to go for it, who knows? It's very freeing to know I'll never have to put chemicals on my head every 2 weeks ever again. Now to sort out my clothing and decide which colours to wear. The 😁👍
I love this comment so much!! You brought tears to my eyes. 🥰 Congratulations on your final haircut! It’s so wonderful that you’re loving it. Good luck on your trip back home. I e personally found that everyone in my life has been outwardly supportive. I think it in no small part due to the fact that I’m obviously happy to be free now, too. 💖
Hi Beth. I was very happy that your channel popped up. I’m 71 and allowed my very dark warm brown hair to finally grow out into my natural silver hair a year and a half ago. I became very unhappy with the gray because it just didn’t feel like me. So... I had it colored again to a very light warm brown. It doesn’t fit my complexion of a deep dark blue eyes and a complexion between creamy and not sure what anyone would call it. I’m half Syrian and the rest is Irish and Dutch. Quite a combination. Especially when it comes to makeup and lipstick. Eyebrows are still naturally dark. Petite with round face but now overweight. Small ears and I’m in a quandary now. Have started to look for help and options on UA-cam. I think it’s about time to do a total makeover of my entire body. Thank you 😊
Hi, Vicki! I’m so happy you’re here. Your ethnic blend sounds so interesting. I have an uncommon mix between my parents, too, and it’s made finding foundation especially difficult. Makeup has always been a challenge. Something about letting my gray hair grow out (totally neutral!) finally allowed me to see my coloring clearly. I’m planning to make more videos like this because I think a lot of us share this challenge.
Il Makiage and Bobbi Brown brands of make up foundations are the best I have found for precise color matching . You can try on before you buy and if necessary two close shades can be blended to get the best match .
How nice to see this video this morning! Such a great idea, I have been playing with new color too! I have never really like myself in pastels, but now I am enjoying some. I really do love wearing grey, charcoal, and white. This video give me lots of great ideas!!! You look gorgeous!
@@InfinitegardenbyBethK I appreciate how much work went into this! I'm happy to see that you looked great in all the colors. Now I think I will branch out !🌈
Yes, yes and yes! So incredibly helpful~~~ I have pale skin, light blue-grey eyes and now this grey-white hair. Also am an artist and have still struggled with what colors are best to compliment my personal palette.
Wow, thank you, Cindy. I really enjoyed making this video and was surprised when editing the footage how some colors compared to what I see in my mind’s eye. I’m definitely thinking about adding brighter colors into my otherwise fairly low-key and neutral wardrobe. 🥰😘
The wine burgundy - stunning! I have to agree with another commenter about the ivory and I’m feeling the same about that color on me. I just invested in a lady jacket that is cream and navy and plan to warm it up with a gold chain necklace.
Thank you for sharing this video. It was enlightening. I too am a silver fox! I've thought about doing this but now, after watching you, I have to definitely go through and find my best colors! Fun! 😉👍♥️. PS. You look great in every color. Especially the olive and emerald. Stunning!
Thank you so much, Shari! 🥰😘 I definitely girly recommend trying this and taking pictures of you can. I saw myself better when I looked at the videos. This exercise has made me more comfortable with choosing colors when I shop. 💖
I so enjoyed this video! You are darling. You look great in all colors. The ochre actually works because you have beautiful skin showing to break from being too close to your face. Great taste and style! The O Cassini- what a treat!!!
Fabulous video! I recently embraced my gray hair and immediately noticed that many colors no longer compliment my silver hair and dark skin tone. I am excited to try new colors to see how they work.
I have had a blast over the past years getting out of my comfort zone with color-the silver hair was the key change that made it feel safe. Enjoy the journey of discovery 💖
Your hair color is gorgeous. My 2 yr grow out is more of a salt and pepper color and I'm still reaching for cool neutrals because I haven't played around much with color. This was an interesting and helpful video to see. I want to say I think you look better in the dark pink than pale pink and I like the white more than ivory on you. It is surprising though how many colors work on you with the silver hair!
Thank you! I think you’re right about the dark jewel tones. It was something I couldn’t really see until I was editing. It’s a great exercise to try. 😉😘
This is so fun + helpful to watch as I am literally decluttering makeup with intentions to weed out so many warm colors and focus more on cooks with this gray hair. You look stunning in so many colors, literally gasped at the purples, greens, the prints + florals at the end, and that Cassini top… just wow. FABULOUS.
Thank you so much! I found this exercise super helpful and recommend it to anyone. There was something about looking back at the footage and seeing myself differently than I do in the mirror. If we so much more comfortable in bright colors now-I always felt they were awkward on me before. YES that Cassini too was an absolute diamond in the rough 😍😍😍 the Willie Nelson record was a gem too 💗
I’m also a deep autumn and the colours that look best on you with your silver hair also look best on me with mine, so it was nice to see them on someone other than myself. Watching the video, I felt that the lighter colours - soft pink, light grey (even with the darker detailing) just wash you (and myself) out completely. The wine, olive, navy, black look much better as we fade into the background and almost disappear as a person in those light shades. I’ve been wearing a favourite light pink sweater but everytime I put it on I just fade away but ignore that and continue to wear it! I won’t anymore! I always get comments when I’m wearing burgundy, Olive green, black and red sweaters. ALWAYS! And looking at you in those colours too, I can see why. I have always loved wearing grey but now I just look so old and washed out in it - it’s just too much grey. Drab overload! Thanks for sharing, so interesting!
Thanks so much for this great comment! I’m finding light colors just so hard to wear without a scarf jacket layer-anything to ground it. I now wonder if I am I deep autumn-I might be a winter after all 🤷♀️
@@InfinitegardenbyBethK I actually wondered if you were more of a warm winter. I’m saying that, I’m definitely a deep autumn and you and I both appear to suit and not suit exactly the same colours so by the end of the video I was more sure you were a deep autumn. If anything has a cool undertone I look terrible in it, if that helps. It ALL has to be warm, if that helps!
Thank you so much for this! My hair, eyes and skin are very similar to yours. It's interesting your brows are brown? I do mine grey but still have my brown benefit brow make up so may try. Agree with all you say here. One of my favourite dresses is mustard, such a shame I have tried wearing it since I transitioned from bottle blonde to natural silver. Just doesn't work 😒. Never been a fan of blue, but seeing you and another silver lady this week looking so lovely in this colour has changed my mind! I have been scrutinising my eye shadow also. What you're wearing, I concluded is the most flattering colourway. So glad you came up in my feed 😍. I've been very conscious of my choices in make up and clothing colours. Not checked your content out yet, but as a lifelong denim fan I find denim blues very flattering and would love to see you in denim 💙. If that's your thing of course, sorry if you have already done this as I have only just discovered you. Sending love from north west England x
Hello, Miss BeeBee! I’m so glad you’re here. I’m glad you enjoyed my experiment with colors. I’m still learning what looks good on me now-and I LOVE denim. I have two other videos trying on looks, one called “kibbe try-on” or something like that and another recent one showing what I bought recently. I’m on a quest to buy much less by learning what works (I’ve made so many mistakes!). I’ve really been down the rabbit hole on eyeshadow too!
The wine and olive green, the pale blue, pink and lavender and the coral and truqouise...STUNNING on you. I think I gasped at the olive green! Gave me some ideas of colors to try. I am just starting my transition to grey and I find the change of clothing, make-up, accessories a fun aspect to look forward to. It's almost like reinventing yourself for the next phase of life and I'm here for it. Your hair color is so beautiful!
Thank you!! 🥰 and congratulations on starting your journey 💖 I have been totally rediscovering my best colors. It’s amazing…I don’t think I ever truly saw myself before.
Beth I watched this again after your scarf video. Isn’t it interesting how our colours change after we go silver. I think you identified perfectly the colours that suit you. One of my favourites on you is purple. I definitely think you can wear the rich deep jewel like colours well 🙂
Yes! It’s so interesting to me, Karen. I have been rediscovering purple-I had literally nothing in my closet except for that special occasion wrap. I’m more focused on those jewel tones, too, especially if they are a bit vibrant.
Hello! I am happy to say that most every color you wore I would think "yes" and then you'd say you liked it, or I'd think "no" and you'd say "not loving it". Most of the time. I did get one or two wrong. But I think that's pretty good for only seeing you on my phone screen! 🤣🤣🤣 I think your skin in a little darker than mine and your eyes are darker. I'm fair skin and blue eyes, but not as fair as redheads with blue eyes! I'm Czech/French/English. My natural hair was ash light brown as a teenager then adult. No golds. Now I am 60 and letting it all grow out. I enjoy your videos and I applaud you that your replies to the commenter are always thoughtful. It shows you take time to think about what someone says and you reply accordingly. Thank you for all you do to help those if us that have made a fairly unpopular decision especially at younger ages(I realize you are a lot younger than I am) and for us older women who are finally embracing whatever is to come(out)!
Thank YOU, Cat, for being here 🥰😘i am also Czech on my father’s side, which is also where my olive undertones come from. Growing out my silver hair has illuminated which colors are right for me, like a key in the lock. I hope the same is true for you 💖💖
@@InfinitegardenbyBethK It is interesting that you say olive undertones. I think of my facial complexion as fair and pinkish but when I'd stand next to my brother who's face was ruddy pink mine would look more yellow. Is that what you mean by olive undertones?
@@Cat-qo3ht good question. I’ve only realized I was olive when my silver came in. So my skin surface is light yellow-toned and it can in the winter be very pale, almost gray. Next to my husband who is fair and pink-toned, it’s easier for me to see. But my skin looks actually greenish-my veins look sage green versus blue. Once I finally saw it, it helped me find better colors to wear.
The nice thing about silvery grey is that anything goes with it, so it is quite liberating! Complexion, as others have stated, is more of a consideration, but I would think more in general terms of certain shades that are more or less flattering rather than restriction to certain colors. Just my humble opinion. I love healthy silver hair on women, so much so, that when I was a teenager, I talked my mother, who starting going grey in her 20's, into letting it go grey in her early 40's. My father loved it, she loved it, and she always received compliments on it from others. She enjoyed the added freedom to wear any and every color she wanted.
I totally agree that complexion trumps hair color for color selection-but a lot of us who previously dyed our hair had drastically different colors, color temperatures, color values, etc. For me, dying my hair a warm blonde or auburn drastically affected which colors looked right on me. This purely neutral silver color now lets the complexion shine, which makes it easier for me personally to see what flatters. At any rate, I recommend this exercise to anyone who wants more insight into which colors to wear. And I love how supportive you were to your mom! These acts of kindness and encouragement have a significant impact on your loved ones. 🥰🥰🥰
@@InfinitegardenbyBethK Your video is a good one, some certainly need a little help with color theory, as it just seems to come naturally for some and not for others. I am happy to see you helping others with your personal flair. 😄
Thank you!! I know there’s a reason I’ve been drawn to orange. 🧡 My brother wears it often and it looks great on him. Maybe everyone should try this exercise out. 🤔 I learned a lot and saw with “different” eyes while I was editing.
I'm newly silver as well with similar coloring..but lighter green eyes. I haven't tried charcoal yet..but it looks great on you. The only color I would stay away from is the ivory... but the navy blue and charcoal looks amazing next to your silver hair.
Thank you so much for the kind words! I’ll be posting a video this weekend showing how scarves can help save some garments that otherwise wash you out. I’m not tossing out my ivory just yet! 🥰😘🥰😘
The pale pastels and ivory absolutely washed you out; I’d figured this out recently in my own wardrobe and wear them only with overlaying deeper colors or bright lipstick. The browns were not flattering either. My favorite on you were purple, navy, and fuchsia. Thank you for wearing all those colors for us!
Good tutorial; the light blue was also very nice; I think with a little addition of light blush you would be able to wear a wider range of colors when the mood "strikes you".
Great suggestions! I added a bottle green cotton wrap sweater to my wardrobe this summer and I just love it! I would have been afraid of it in the past but now I feel more confident that it works. 💖
My hair color went to white, but a warmer white that compliments my warmer skin tone. It is really challenging to find flattering colors, but a true autumn color season palette looks best on me. Slightly warmer colors are good. Pure white is probably my worst as are any icy pastels. I look like a corpse. Have you determined your seasonal color? Knowing that really does help guide.
Great video - the purple looks amazing on you. And the purple/gold cross pattern top. Great presentations of colours. I'm a warm autumn going white/blonde 😄 & hope to continue to be able to wear olive green.
@@InfinitegardenbyBethK - when I had my colours done years ago & was told - no black, I adopted olive green as my new best "black". You can wear it all year round ❤️
I have exactly the same shade of hair as yours , hazel eyes but very pale cool colored skin. I have gotten rid of all warm colors are they don’t suit me anymore!
I’m in the same boat! I’ve especially noticed that warm oatmeals or tans are especially bad. I can maybe handle a deep brown (especially if it’s grayish) but these light warm tones are deadly 😂😂
i have just had a colour analysis done and looking at the colours here, I am pretty sure you are also a winter. Silver, grey, charcoal, black, fuchsia, emerald green, cherry red, those plum colours...all point to a winter :) and these colours look really good with our cool silver hair. For the same reason, warm autumny colours (cream, mustard) which I could wear when I had darker hair do not look good anymore.
Yes, I think you are right! I may have always been a winter, but somehow those deep autumn colors also worked well. Did you find having the analysis done was helpful for you?
@@InfinitegardenbyBethK I did find it very helpful! Especially to understand the intensity of the colours. I have olive skin overtone, and with dark hair, I could wear deep winters as well as deep/dark autumns before. But now I am cool winter it seems :)
You know I kind of want to get typed formally. I tend to prefer winter colors to autumn, but my deep hazel eyes make me think I’m warm. I definitely like both.
I also noticed that you said you were an autumn but yet your favorite colors with your silver hair are mostly winter colors. I was typed an autumn 30 years ago with very much the same coloring as you. I wore many of the autumn colors confidently for over 30 years. Today, my hair is much like yours, length and lovely silver. A new analysis revealed I’m a winter. I recommend House of Color.
Very helpful and playful video! Your gray hair is a gorgeous shade and looks great with all the colors you've chosen for this video. A shop in Minneapolis had that treasure, woohoo - yah for us in the Midwest!
Love all the colors on you except light pink, light blue, bone, and loved the navy, olive and silver/grey, and burgundy. I’m trying to let my blonde go grey and looking in the mirror upsets me, but my favorite colors are blue, navy and white, so perhaps I’ll find the mirror image more positive. Thanks…
I honestly found that figuring out which colors bring life back to my face changed the game. I need vibrant blues and pinks, and especially contrast. It’s so easy to be washed out.
Hi Beth. I love you in primary colors, especially navy. I love white and black as well. Emerald green makes your eye color pop. I actually think that my mother in law has a top similar to the Oleg Cassini one that you featured. This was so much fun!! I know for myself, I gravitate towards neutrals, black, white, gray, and every shade of cream, beige, taupe, etc. They're my comfort zone. I have dark auburn hair, brown eyes, and a light warm complexion. Thanks for this fun filled video. I hope you have a wonderful week ahead of you. ❤❤💞😊
I can see those colors being so flattering on you, Rene! I totally relate to a color comfort zone. This video helped open up my eyes to brighter, more vivid colors than I am used to choosing for myself. ❤️🧡💙💜 🥰😘😘
@@InfinitegardenbyBethK and the brighter colors truly suit you, Beth. I used to wear nothing but black. It was my security blanket. I still love black. Funny, my oldest daughter has gone through many phases, and now her signature look is head to toe black. With her blonde hair and blue eyes, and her bold red lips, it works. And she's very self confident. Have a great evening! ❤❤
"This particular dress came with two gin and tonics..." she said with a cheeky smile. So you're just gonna let it hang there?! 😜 Especially loved the clear cool-leaning colors on you; particularly white, pink and light blue 😍 Charcoal and navy are my new black, gentler on aging skin 🙈 I'm neutral, leaning warm, with a dash of olive and this whole hair thing, going from dark brown to light gray is messing everything up. Not to mention the 1/3 gray, 2\3 brown dye... 14 months now, and can't wait for it to be fully transitioned ⏳ Happy Easter 🌷🐣🐤😊
LOl I was teasing-it may be an American specific joke but this bamboo print reads as very “Country Club”, and a gin & tonic is a stereotypical Country Club drink. I just love this preppy print 😍 but it’s very that Your coloring sounds so much like mine. It’s been such a challenge to learn what my best colors are. I can comfortably wear so many, but I think I need to embrace more brights. 🧡💜 Happy Easter to you! 😘😘😘
@@InfinitegardenbyBethK Well, now I'm disappointed - I was sure there was some juicy story behind the g&t comment 🤣 When I think country club I think of Mrs. Montgomery in Dharma & Greg 😂 It took me years to figure out my best colors, and I'm curious to learn how going gray will affect them. I still look better in cream than white, but perhaps that will change 🤔 I don't think I'll ever be able to pull off lavender, but super pretty on you, so who knows 😊 Love Maj (pronounced Mai)🐣 😘😘
Thanks, Joy! I did the same thing. For my transition. My hair was pretty damaged by the time I was done getting highlights, but the subtle ombré effect made me feel more comfortable during the transition.
What do you think of Carmel with your coloring... I'm trying to decide if I should invest in a carmel trench or blue gray trench. (I have similar hair and skin tone and eye color to yours). Thanks for your input.
I was struggling with this same question. My skin has yellow overtones, so I can wear cool colors with a little yellow but now I think I have cool undertones. I would probably opt for the blue gray trench.
For me, it seems your SKIN color is more important perhaps than hair color . As our skin ages, our skin fades (ok, mine has a bit) but you’re still very young. I see that certain colors DO go better now with your locks.
I'm just asking do you bleach out a few streaks to pale yellow and tone to silver.?I just grew out my bleached blonde hair to natural salt and pepper and I hate it .
I just cleaned out my closet of anything brown or yellow or orange. I have about 6 months of grow out so far and those colors do not look well on me with the gray.
Hi, Jennifer! I feel like six months is really when you start to get a sense of how your new hair color will look. Good for you on getting a jump start on closet cleaning 🧹 🥰😘
Thank you very much! I think it's also good to remember that I'm pulling from my own closet, so it's more likely that I already feel good about how these look on me.
@@InfinitegardenbyBethK The key is black which looks amazing on you. Brown is blah . You and I are very somilar in hair/eyes/skintone. White better than ivory too, by the way!
@@InfinitegardenbyBethK black, royal blue, navy blue, and red. I don't have a whole lot more room for too much more than that right now other than my t-shirts that I earn when I complete my 5K runs!
It’s so funny, I have exactly the same colouring as you but don’t suit many of the colours that look stunning on you. I used to love grey but now feel it drains me, I can only wear warm pinks and blues and I don’t look good in any jewel tones.
I think you’re a winter is the problem. You thought you were a fall because of brown hair. Girl, you’re a winter! Embrace it. You need to re read Carol Jackson’s book.
Hey everyone! I hope you enjoy this video of me trying on my closet to explore how I look in different colors. I also 100% misspelled “fuchsia” in the video titles. Forgive me! 🥰😘
Fuchsia is always a miss-spell for me, too. I'm still not sure I spelled it right.
Its okay, you have an Oleg Cassini vintage piece that absolved any & all future issues
You look good in so many colors!
Thank you, Gaella 🥰😘 I recommend trying this on yourself!
Black, Navy, Wine, Light Pink, Tourquois, Brown, Emerald Green.
Il Makiage and
Bobbi Brown brands of make up foundations are the best I have found for precise color matching .
Thank you! 🥰😘I’m so glad you enjoyed it! I’ve been wanting to do something like this for a long time and I finally got my act together.
That’s a great strategy! I am learning that a black turtleneck can save a light & warm jacket
Jeez you look good in every colour!
Thank you! (I was working with my own closet, though, so lots of missing shades)
What a fun fashion show!! I really enjoyed this!! You look beautiful, and have great style!!
Thank you, Amy! That’s a lovely compliment. 💖💖
So fun! Lovely colors! So many of them look great on you! Thanks.
Thank you! I really enjoyed making this one. 🥰
You are so kind! Thank you. 💖💖 I just wore the Oleg Cassini this week to a roller rink 🛼
You look stunning in the turquoise, Kelly green and emerald colors to me !!
Thank you! 💖💖
Many thanks, this is so inspiring! And you look amazing!
Thank you, Sasa! I learned a lot by doing this and recommend trying it for yourself. You might be surprised (for me it was how much I liked orange 🍊)
Love you in the jewel colors emerald, wine, navy , Charcoal. Nice! I think the autumn colors wash you out a bit. Enjoy your Gray!
You know, I think I agree!
Really enjoyed this video, all the colours/styles look great with your silver hair 👩🏻🦳🌸💗 have a great day 🤗
Awww, thank you, Louise! I feel as though I learned a thing or two doing this. 🥰😘
@@InfinitegardenbyBethK I guess I'll find out when mine all comes in 😉
Enjoyed your video and was amazed by the colors that look great with silver hair. Thanks a lot and also you have good voice for videos.
Thank you so much for the kind words!
Black and Wine colors are so pretty on you and me! 😊
I’ll never give up my black! And I’ve always loved wine tones.
What a fun idea for a video! Definitely wear orange - a great look on you!
Thank you!! I know there’s a reason I’ve been drawn to orange. 🧡 My brother wears it often and it looks great on him.
Maybe everyone should try this exercise out. 🤔 I learned a lot and saw with “different” eyes while I was editing.
This was so helpful and fun too! Thank you!
Thanks for watching! I’m so glad you’re here. 🥰
Love the charcoal! Also the jewel tones. You could wear your hair up with the paler colors, especially with a bright scarf.
Oh thank you! Great tip!
Thank you for the feedback! I agree with all that you say.
Good tutorial; the light blue was also very nice; I think with a little addition of light blush you would be able to wear a wider range of colors when the mood "strikes you".
That's a great idea!
You look wonderful especially in cool colours. I would add pale gold (cool) and bottle green. These two colours would suit you perfectly as well.
Great suggestions! I added a bottle green cotton wrap sweater to my wardrobe this summer and I just love it! I would have been afraid of it in the past but now I feel more confident that it works. 💖
You look absolutely fabulous in all your clothes!
Thank you, Mollly!!
All the colors are fabulous but the burgundy is spectacular
Thank you!! It’s always been a favorite ❤️
Thank you! 🥰😘 I’m definitely more interested in more purple clothing in the future. I think olive still works for me-I just love to wear olive 🫒
@@InfinitegardenbyBethK - when I had my colours done years ago & was told - no black, I adopted olive green as my new best "black". You can wear it all year round ❤️
The turquoise and emerald really make you shine…in my opinion…✨
Thank you!!🙏 I love the blue greens.
It’s amazing-you look good in most colors.
Thanks, Susan. 🥰😘 Of course I’m working with my own closet, so it’s not a good as a true color analysis.
I have very bright white hair,no silver, and I think I look best in brighter colors. Your hair color is beautiful.
Thank you for your kind comment! Yes, bright white hair can carry really strong colors Go vibrant! 🩷
Great video! You look amazing in your new hair color!! 🌸🌸
Thank you ! 💗💗
You seem to have quite a lot of my winter colours in your wardrobe. I don’t know if I’m just biased but they look good on you...
Beautiful lady! You have a wardrobe of great colors for you.,❤
Thank you, Joy! 💓
I love this!! I can wear qhjte a lot of those colors now!! Even though our eye colors are different!!
That’s awesome, Tammy! Do you feel you silver hair has opened up more possibilities? It seems that way to me.
Very enjoyable color show. Helpful.
Thank you!
Once again, another super helpful video! Thanks so much!! 🦋🧡🦋
I’m so glad! Thank you 🥰😘
Your hair is so pretty!
Thank you so much
love the orange
🧡
Very helpful and playful video! Your gray hair is a gorgeous shade and looks great with all the colors you've chosen for this video. A shop in Minneapolis had that treasure, woohoo - yah for us in the Midwest!
Yes, this blouse is a treasure! 🥰 thank you so much for the kind words, Shelley 💗💗
Very nice and helpfull, the Olive are my favourite. Red is not my colour. It feel as if red is wearing you😅.
Red is tricky! I’m always more comfortable with it as an accent. 🥰
Ivory looks amazing on you!
Thank you!!
Sorry, don't agree. Makes you look drained.
Very pretty. Thanks 14 months in so far.
Congratulations, Linda!! 💗💗
I think with your beautiful gray hair now you have switch to a cooler version of color me beautiful. Possibly a dark winter.
Thank you for the kind comment-I think you’re right. I’m playing now with the differences between dark and bright winter.
I just love this preppy print 😍 but it’s very that
Your coloring sounds so much like mine.
You look great in all those colors! I’m still on my journey…continuing to highlights until the brown is gone.
Thanks, Joy! I did the same thing. For my transition. My hair was pretty damaged by the time I was done getting highlights, but the subtle ombré effect made me feel more comfortable during the transition.
@@InfinitegardenbyBethK Thanks for your encouraging words❣️
What do you think of Carmel with your coloring... I'm trying to decide if I should invest in a carmel trench or blue gray trench. (I have similar hair and skin tone and eye color to yours). Thanks for your input.
I was struggling with this same question. My skin has yellow overtones, so I can wear cool colors with a little yellow but now I think I have cool undertones. I would probably opt for the blue gray trench.
love the blues
Yes! I have learned that blue is my color! 💙
For me, it seems your SKIN color is more important perhaps than hair color . As our skin ages, our skin fades (ok, mine has a bit) but you’re still very young. I see that certain colors DO go better now with your locks.
I think this is right! 🥳 My skin is pretty neutral and I can often wear warm and cool colors-just not too saturated usually.
I think I like the ivory more than the white😊
Fascinating! 🧐
This dress came with two G&T. 🤣 You look great in anything.
😂it’s soooo clubby
Most colours suit you except pale pink, interesting video thanks
Thank you, Rosemary!
I’m a warm tone with hazel eyes and pure white hair
Hi, Suzanne! We sound similar. What colors do like to wear the most?
I like purple mustard white black orange I avoid beige and green
Girl you’re def deep autumn. Guess I’d dress for my skin tone NOT my hair tone. Thanks for the video!
Yes, I think that’s right 🥰🥰 For years I was dying my hair whatever color I wanted and I threw off my eye.
I'm just asking do you bleach out a few streaks to pale yellow and tone to silver.?I just grew out my bleached blonde hair to natural salt and pepper and I hate it .
I am done chemically altering my hair. This is natural. But you could do that if you wanted! salt and pepper is gorgeous-you might change your mind.
Fabulous
Thank you!
you look pretty in all of them.
Thank you very much! I think it's also good to remember that I'm pulling from my own closet, so it's more likely that I already feel good about how these look on me.
I don't think you are Autumn at all❤;you look better in Winter colors! The fuschia is great on you
Honestly, I think you’re exactly right! It’s taken me a lifetime to realize it. This video helped. I’ve since added several fuchsia items.
@@InfinitegardenbyBethK The key is black which looks amazing on you. Brown is blah
. You and I are very somilar in hair/eyes/skintone. White better than ivory too, by the way!
i like the color youre calling "Emerald". Although Emerald is a green and this is a turquoise. I also like the RED.
Thanks, Susana!🥰😘
thank you
I'm pretty limited on the amount of colors I can go through since I live full-time in an RV and spaces limited, but it can't hurt to dream!
I had no idea you were living the RV life. How exciting! Scarves 🧣 are colorful and compact 😉 I love thrifting vintage scarves.
Girl, colors are totally different on me now that I am silver and pepper
Yes!! My whole outlook on color has changed. Which colors do you love to wear now, Zelda?
@@InfinitegardenbyBethK black, royal blue, navy blue, and red. I don't have a whole lot more room for too much more than that right now other than my t-shirts that I earn when I complete my 5K runs!
It’s so funny, I have exactly the same colouring as you but don’t suit many of the colours that look stunning on you. I used to love grey but now feel it drains me, I can only wear warm pinks and blues and I don’t look good in any jewel tones.
That’s so interesting, Stephanie! I feel like everyone could benefit from trying this-including taking pictures. Coloring is so subtle. 💖
I think you're a winter re "color me beautiful"
I’ve finally come to that same conclusion! For so long I saw warmth but now I think I am cool.
I have silver hair and pale skin and blue eyes. I think ivory and colors with a yellow undertone really are not flattering.
That makes sense, Carol! It sounds like you may lean cool 😎
Do you color your hair or is your Grey all natural
Hi Lori! It’s all natural! Check out my gray hair transition playlist if you’d like to see my journey. 🥰😘 thanks for watching.
I think you’re lovely and have excellent taste.
Thank you so much! appreciate that.
Lavender looks 10 years older
Pastels can be hard to wear
You're a winter, my dear!
I have wondered! I have cool undertones but some golden warmth to my skin and in my iris.
no ivory
Agreed! It’s absolutely my worst color. That and warm tan.
Grt8 Video. Black, Navy, brown, Purple Ugh..horrible..too stark....look of death. Pale pink, sky blue, Lavender, Coral...Beautiful ....
Thanks, Eve! Appreciate your comment 💖
I think you’re a winter is the problem. You thought you were a fall because of brown hair. Girl, you’re a winter! Embrace it. You need to re read Carol Jackson’s book.
You are so right! I also dyed my hair for SO long, and always warmer than suited me. I’m fully on board now!
