Definitely one of the better build vids!! Really appreciate the parts list as well.
Thank you very much! That means a lot. If you ever have questions feel free to message me on my Facebook page.
Andy
Thanks, this video helped me do the leds. 👍🏻👍🏻
@@ericsjo3614 I’m always glad to help
Great video & thanks for sharing about your wiring techniques and supplies. I’ve been wanting to do similar but just never found all the items needed.
Thank you! Glad I could help
One of the best woodworking videos I ever watch.Big greetings from Serbia
Thank you very much! Greetings from Texas USA
Dude, thank you for the detailed parts list too. Really saved me a TON of time making one.
My pleasure! I’m glad I could help!
Thanks for adding the width of the doors. Just cut mine out this morning at 12" before seeing this. I used old 3/4" oak flooring with 1/4" backer for the shelving and a 1 1/2" over sided topper table. It added work but it was free and came out stellar. Great video, I'm still picking up tips from you as I go. Thanks.
Get a metabo WEF grinder. Going by memory I use a WEF115. Flat, elongated head, you end up using more of the cutting wheels, way better line of sight and good motor. I have a couple of the corded version, there is also a cordless.
Nice job. I've got a barrel out in the barn I've been meaning to use for this and you've been a big help.
Thank you! I’m glad to hear!
Awesome video, very thorough! Can't wait to get Nic to try this!
Thank you, I know you have talked about it a long time now lol
Excellent job! This was a great step by step of the job! Oh and by the way, I love my two wine barrel bars!
Thanks buddy!
Have you made barrels with lazy Suzanne shelves? Would like to see a how to video on the process.
I have not but have thought about it. It would be ver easy to add
Awesome build brother, nice work! I'm gonna try and build one at some point! And i would like to see an epoxy video.. take it easy, until next time.
Thank you! If you build one send me pics!
I’ll work on that epoxy video. Might be a new year video
Brilliantly done Andy! I have a friend who disassembled a wine barrel and used the staves for table legs. The smell of the opened barrel was amazing. What’s the whiskey barrel smell like? Looks like your hand is healing, I pray you recover full use of your fingers. Oh, yes please do a epoxy poor video- I’d love to your process. And I like the longer video format so feel free to post them whenever you have them. Happy thanksgiving mate!
Thank you sir! I got the cast off and everything healed nice. A broken hand was not fun lol. The whiskey barrel smells amazing!! I think it might be one of my favorite smells.
I’ll add the epoxy video to my long list of videos to make. It would be an easy one to do. I’m glad you liked the longer format I was apprehensive about it. Still think I might make a shorter version of this one.
Happy Thanksgiving to you too!
I’m am in the sanding process on my bourbon barrel bar and you really gave me good ideas
Glad to hear!
Great video thank you. I have got to make one of these.
Thank you! I hope you do! Send me pictutes
Great video by the way.
Thank you very much!
I live near Bushmills in N. Ireland and usually you can buy barrels for about 40 dollars. You would be in the money here. Thought you might have fitted the hinges before cutting out the doors, but maybe that can be problematic.
Oh nice! Fitting the hinges before 🤔 that’s an idea. I might try that one day.
@@epeiusgarage I just did that one my build. Worked great. Also, I pre loaded the hinge after screwing one side down with down pressure before drilling the holes to avoid gravity causing the slop in the hinge to let the door sage at all.
Making this video has been a long time coming. If you have more questions feel free to ask. If I get enough of one question I will make followup videos.
Jigsaw metal cutting blades instead of the cutting wheel
They don’t fit between the wood pieces
Can you let us know roughly what you charge for one of these?
I charge right around $600.00 for what I call a fully loaded barrel. That includes lights and epoxy top
Bahaha
