    I purchased a piece of crap WEN 4214 drill press and was able to square the table left to right but it was badly out of square front to back. I assumed that the vise I mounted on the table must have thrown it out of square so I removed it and tried again. I discovered that it was the table itself that was out of square so I decided I could shim the vise and level things up. Wrong - the table is DEFORMED and has one low corner. Which is basically impossible to shim and fix. I went back and forth with WEN forth three weeks and they finally suggested I PURCHASE a new table from them that might possibly be square front to back. ...isn't the entire purpose of a drill press to drill holes that are square with your work? This POS fails miserably!

    Curious if you got your jointer yet? I have a benchtop-sized one, and it is way too small to be effective. My planer sled works far better. I've had countless of those situations where you box yourself in and don't have enough room for a drill for screws. Depending on how close the screw is to the board I use a flex driver like you used but prefer a rigid right-angle driver like a Dewalt DWARA60 if there's enough space for the tool head - I feel it gives me more solid contact with the screw head. Having the flex and the rigid driver are nice-to-have tools that aren't used often but are handy as heck when you need them.

    Fantastic! Thanks a bunch, Andy!!! 😃 I'm going to build my own burner... I already have everything, I just need to start testing the wire to see what kind of tension and current I'm going to need, so I can choose the PWM controller (which is what is going to control the temperature). I already have one, I just don't know if it's going to be enough yet. Anyway, stay safe there with your family! 🖖😊

    One question, why not make your fill hole just barely bigger than the mounting nut that comes with spout? A long harbor freight hemostat or some longer tool would help mount rubber seal ant nut on rear of spout for a great seal. No silicone needed.

      @epeiusgarage Місяць тому

      @@goodwinml yeah I thought about that but then comes the challenge of finding a stopper to fit. Not to say I looked that hard lol. Go for it. My videos are just to give ideas. It’s no fun if everyone makes them the same.

    Nicely done Andy! This is one of the best things of becoming a woodworker, helping out others and saving a heirloom. And @adrianhiggins83 is spot on…it prevents the horse from rocking to far forward or backwards and tossing the rider.
