Just completed this mod on my 2017 XV60. with Auxito LED 194 24 SMD bulbs! They're beautiful, and all my 194's are LED now! (Vanity lights, Puddle lights, rear door courtesy lights, trunk light. 7 total.)

It sucks at USDM 3IS don't come with it...
I actually starting looking into that, just researching the folding part and see if thats even possible lol.
@@Und3rgroundLex In XV60, it probably isn't. There was no automatic folding window switch in any variant. I thought about it, but it's best I don't bother.
I pulled my mirror like in this video and just cracked mirror 😁Use flat head screwdriver to unclip the glass. Read in the comment, you'll find a bunch of guys broke their mirrors in this brute force way. This way maybe only works if the mirror's previously taken out few times so it's easier.
Just done this on mine. Was nervous about cracking the mirror bit came off with some pressure
Seems crazy to me that you can't just pop the clear lens cover off to get to the bulb but instead have to take the mirror apart.
I just subbed, love your build. Just picked up '17model yesterday. What's your thoughts on clear wrap for the front to avoid stonechips?
Much love thank you!! 🤘🏿 For the front yes I would get a clear wrap. I know I’ve got a few random rocks on the front after re painting the front bumper again. Lol. So the wrap is sorta protecting it atm.

Yeah if it's your first time, you going to feel like you've already put too much pressure lol. Reason also is cause there is glue behind it but definitely take your time with it and it shall pop off.

@@fatboynip Hey man take comfort in the fact that I just broke mine yesterday too. Its absolutely crushing, $500 mistake to an install a $1 LED. Mines a 2IS and I broke it trying to snap the bottom mirror clips back on because somehow it just wouldn't snap into place. I would honestly not recommend people who have the auto dimming mirrors to do this, it's just too high of a risk for only a little bit of aesthetic gains
@@LegitMoose shit brother sorry to hear that. I just threw the $80 mirror with heat on for now. Until it makes sense to buy a $500 mirror for the car 😂 only thing im missing is my BSM but I shoulder check so I don't even need the bsm lights.
