Nice ride Andy. Remember, you can get those caliper covers for your Lexus to keep that brake dust to a minimum. I do my own brakes, but I use Akebono brake pads. Much less dust, no break in period.

I have a 17 IS300 AWD. They tend to also have inner tire wear on the front tires as well. That’s fixed by changing the bushings up front to the GSF ones. They are stiffer and it also improves your steering. I’ve had it going on 3 years with no problems so far. She is a guzzler in town though but does well on highways.

A little off topic. My 2009 toyota corolla stopped running and would crank but not start. Had car towed to toyota dealership for their $175.00 diagnosis. They told me the fuel pump was bad and they would.replace it for $1,550.00. Again $1;550.00. Told them no thanks. Bought replacement pump for $175.00 and replaced it MYSELF in about one hour using common hand tools.that I guarantee everyone has around the house. Car would still not start. Checked new fuel pump, works fine. Checked old fuel pump and that worked fine. Turns out the ECM was faulty and has to be replaced. The $175.00 "diagnosis" from Toyota was a TOTAL waste of time and money .

@@johnGabryowicz-ev7mz I’ve been there with ford. Bad thing is they will not refund the money and if you would have let them replace the fuel pump you would have just been out that money also. Safest bet is 250 with proper maintenance or a 350 if u have a bigger budget. Tbh u should be fine with a 250. Make sure to put premium once in a while to clean the carbon. I would recommend Shell. BMW only recommended shell in their cars and Premium Shell cleans ur engine really good.
