Before I used tech stream to turn off the factory DRL function during the day the check mark AND the low beams would be on and it looked weird. Now during the day all that’s on is the LED check mark.
@@AutoHeadz Okayy thanks and do you know anything about the fact that when you unlock the car the light should turn on with without starting. Is that function tied to the red cable you connect to the battery because apparently they don’t give it out anymore.
Hi.. loved the vid. Couldn't have done the install without it. I installed these headlights on my son's car yesterday and the engine light and check vcs light showed up today. The instructions did say the additional resistance needed to be put on for American versions. I am in Australia and purchased these from an australian based vland ebay store, so i didnt put the additional resistors on. The lights seems to work fine though. Is it normal for some of the plastic from the headlight to kinda stick out or get crunched form the hood? I lined up both sides and for the most part it was plug and play but some plastic is sticking or crunching done on the hood (right side )
The fuse I pulled underneath the steering wheel was to disable the auto turn light feature on the factory headlights. If you don’t turn this off when you plug in your new headlights, it will throw a code.
In the video you will see the check mark WITH the regular low beams on below the check. After you get the DRL function shut off in Toyota tech stream you will ONLY see the check mark during day driving. At night all the low beams will be on with the check mark. I hope that makes sense.
hey man i installed them and everything but im just wondering do i put back in the 7.5 fuze the one under the steering wheel once im done installing them?

I went to the Lexus dealer and had them shut off the DRL function so I only have that nice check mark running light as a DRL. Looks very cool. People are stunned when I tell them it’s an 07 vehicle.
They shut off the DRL function. They literally plug the car into a computer and use software that every Lexus dealers has called “Toyota techstream”. Once they plug it in they can make changes to the computer of your vehicle. All they need to do is to go into the “light functions” then turn of “DRL (daytime running lights) once they do that everything will be perfect. Do you get what I’m saying?

Hey man. You have to reset the window master switch. While the car is on roll the down the window all the way and hold the bottom down for three seconds at the bottom. Then roll the window up while holding the button and hold bottom at top for another three seconds. You will then be able to use the windows normally.
No problem. I would recommend watching the video that way you will be able to see if you missed a step. I’m guessing you most likely did not install the resistors which is causing the car to think your headlights are out. I go over this at the 19:08 mark in the video. Good luck brother!
It’s the shutter speed of the camera when filming LED lights. Its hard to edit out of the film without a very expensive camera…which I don’t have yet. Lol

Hey Brotha , I got these headlights installed and failed to notice when I first installed them that they only do the animation unless I turn my car in accessories mode or actually turn my car on compared to doing it when I lock/unlock … any possible explanations for that? Installed these early April this year with a brand new battery, was driving it home tonight and they started fading when in idle, then the power steering light clicked on and later the battery icon showed up as well. Good day, thank you for the great video. I am looking to install these in my 2008 IS350, but the link on amazon says they don't fit the 2008 IS350. Will they fit anyway? Also, I've read that these lights leak. Have you found this to be the case? Thanks again for the great vids.
Thanks man! Maybe it was a different link? This one says 2006-2012 IS350. They will definitely fit though. I have had zero issue with leaking myself. Have worked flawless for me so far. Here is the link - amzn.to/3tuEQBE
Vid highly appreciated, I'm purchasing a set but I was wondering if you used the rail for the wire harness on the vland or did you leave it out ?
Sorry what do you mean by the “rail”. Thanks
Thank you , I love it could you please give headlight specify model
I put a link in the description and first comment. 👍🏻
What do mean you want the check light to stay on without the low beams, are they not DRLS? Like they stay on during the day without the low beams on.
Do you know what the additional resistance is for? Could this be related to the check vcs light?
Yes. Without the resistors you will get a check engine light and hyper flash on the dash.
Where did you get the Lexus door lights and can you make the blue light red?
Here is the link - amzn.to/3IFEkom
And here is my install video on them - ua-cam.com/video/woWi2RU-Km4/v-deo.html
I don’t believe there is a way to make the light red.
These don’t need bulbs? You just install and turn on?
Yes Sir.
Is it normal for some of the plastic from the headlight to kinda stick out or get crunched form the hood? I lined up both sides and for the most part it was plug and play but some plastic is sticking or crunching done on the hood (right side )
It can work in a 2008 ES350?
Any fix for the flickering high beams issue? Did you just TechStream it?
I posted a while explanation as the first comment. It should still be up, but essentially yes. ALL FIXED! 🙌🏻
what is the reason why remove the fuse you said on the steering wheel?
The fuse I pulled underneath the steering wheel was to disable the auto turn light feature on the factory headlights. If you don’t turn this off when you plug in your new headlights, it will throw a code.
Also what website do u recommend me to get bumper that would actually fit my 2010 is350 base
Hey Man, just installed them, and the day time running lights aren't working, also it came up with a headlight system malfunction, any help
How are the lights at night? Do they provide good visibility?
They are great.
@@AutoHeadz thanks. I’ve ordered some
What do you mean "so all you see is the nice check mark" for DRLs? All I see is the check mark in the video.
In the video you will see the check mark WITH the regular low beams on below the check. After you get the DRL function shut off in Toyota tech stream you will ONLY see the check mark during day driving.
At night all the low beams will be on with the check mark. I hope that makes sense.
I want these but concerned about how many people say they have had issues with the lights
I’m trying to install but my wire harness doesn’t come with a connection to the battery. Did you add that or did the harness change?
Came with everything you see in the video. Was it off eBay or Amazon?
I encourage everyone to use the link I provided. There are a TON of fake/counterfeit versions of these headlights that are not from VLAND.
so do the ambers illuminate?
So sorry. Can you specify what you mean?
@@AutoHeadz sorry I meant the side marker reflectors, can they light up too?
hey man i installed them and everything but im just wondering do i put back in the 7.5 fuze the one under the steering wheel once im done installing them?
No Sir. Leave that fuse out. That fuse powers the old active steering headlight function that will not work on these headlights.
Happy holidays man. Hopefully you found the video helpful.
@@AutoHeadz also man ive installed it and everything not sure if its becuase of the headlights but after running it for couple weeks i noticed im getting an battery light ive replaced my alternator but still comes off and on. and i also for the wiring i never got the cabel to connect to the battery but they work good not sure whats going on. also M erry Christmas and happy holidays.
How are these compared to the older version? Any idea?
The style is of the light is different. This version looks closer to what the 2022 IS350 headlights look like. So far I’m loving them.
I went to the Lexus dealer and had them shut off the DRL function so I only have that nice check mark running light as a DRL. Looks very cool. People are stunned when I tell them it’s an 07 vehicle.
@AutoHeadz if you don't mind me asking what did they charge to shut it off?
@@timpierce3765 the DRL function
@@AutoHeadz yeah what did they charge to just have the check mark only
They shut off the DRL function.
Bought these for my isf, but noticed I don't have high beams. Do these vlands have high beams? If so, what do you think the issue could be?
Yes they do. That’s weird. Are you sure they were authentic VLANDS?
Hey, what year is this? Did you have any problems with led cannabis or things like that? Or are they premade to stop that?
Hey man check the first comment. I kind of break down what your asking. Let me know if that clears it up. Thanks bro
2007 IS350
the figment is off . should i worry about rain or snow?
Nah..mine wasn’t perfect either. It’s all sealed up.
@@AutoHeadz My headlight doesn't do the animation when I start the car or unlock the car. Any reason why? I dont know if its because its the updated version but the one I got didnt have the wire to connect to the battery.
I think it’s because it’s the newest version. I got these almost immediately when they came out.
@@AutoHeadz Are you able to adjust the lights without removing it again? If so, how?
How's the beam pattern on these? I heard not great.
Mine are great. I had to adjust them before final install but once adjusted they are awesome.
What did you say at the end? “Tota text stream”? Thinking of buying some, also hate the blue
Toyota tech stream
The blue only comes on for about .5 second during the unlock startup sequence.
my vland lights work fine but my startup sequence does not come on at all , any advice
when i turn my acc lights on, my check mark isnt as bright.. any idea what to do about that. i thought techstream but its not drl issue. maybe a power draw issue. im not sure
You can change this with the turn wheels on the back of the headlight
@LoveRituals i didnt know that was there. will check later! thanks for the reply
@@LoveRituals i think you misunderstood my question. im not talking about adjusting the cutoff etc.
What wheels are on the lexus 👀
It works also with is250 with xenon lights?
Yes.
@@AutoHeadz okay thank u very much
@lasananimaga7379 no problem 😉
Just installed these today and when I went to test them out only the hazards were working, not the turn signals. Any solution to that?
Two questions
1. Where did you buy them?
2. Did you watch the video and follow all intructions?
Will these headlight fit my 2010 Lexus is350 ?
Yes
does anybody elses windows jus not move when using the drivers seat switches?
Hey man.
You have to reset the window master switch.
While the car is on roll the down the window all the way and hold the bottom down for three seconds at the bottom.
Then roll the window up while holding the button and hold bottom at top for another three seconds. You will then be able to use the windows normally.
@@AutoHeadz Thank you 🙏🙏
You’re welcome
do these need bulbs installed?
No
Why cant anyone make a light like this but with the AFS included..
I installed new Vland headlights for my lexus . Please let me know how i can disable Headlight checking warning from my car system..
Did you install the resistor ?
@AutoHeadz thanks for the reply.. actually, I'm not well educated about this .What is resistor?
No problem. I would recommend watching the video that way you will be able to see if you missed a step. I’m guessing you most likely did not install the resistors which is causing the car to think your headlights are out. I go over this at the 19:08 mark in the video. Good luck brother!
@AutoHeadz i will watch again. Thank you so much ...
@AutoHeadz one last question if i need a resistor where i get this?
Nice wheels, what is the model ?
Here is a video I made on them. Link and exact details in description. ua-cam.com/video/1Aur-gN_Cf8/v-deo.html
Will this fit on ISF?
Yes it will. 2008-2014 ISF.
Big issue if I ordered RHD and my car is LHD?
That’s a great question. I can honestly say I’m not sure. I don’t think it would matter. Under the hood everything should be 99% the same.
@@AutoHeadz probably just wires shorter. Ahh we shall see.
Keep me posted, I’m curious. Good luck 👍🏻
Where did you order them off of?
@@AutoHeadz from vlands. They send me the wrong lamps by mistake not RHD, but LHD. So I received the ones I needed lol.
Awesome video!
Thank you man. 🙏🏻 Glad you enjoyed it.
Question how is the light output
After adjusting the beam pattern, big upgrade from stock.
Best car Ever.... Lexus 💪
No doubt. Just hit 120k. Still very quick. Zero issues. Smooth as butter.
mine doesn't come with the battery plug
Can you make it not do the blue?
Why do the check marks flicker at 21:20?
It’s the shutter speed of the camera when filming LED lights. Its hard to edit out of the film without a very expensive camera…which I don’t have yet. Lol
What is techstream? I need to this and how is it?
Toyota tech stream is the software that Toyota uses to make changes on your vehicles computer system. It’s Toyota Lexus activate and deactivate certain features. I have the Lexus dealership used Toyota to shut off the fog light feature.
It's a must .
Got mine on ebay.. used it on 3 of cars so far.. priceless lol
Hey Brotha , I got these headlights installed and failed to notice when I first installed them that they only do the animation unless I turn my car in accessories mode or actually turn my car on compared to doing it when I lock/unlock … any possible explanations for that? I did notice my wiring harness doesn’t have a cable that leads me to the battery it stops me at the right hand side headlight … I know it’s a long shot but anything helps … thank you sir 🫡
Is it VLAND?
How are you getting power to the headlights?
Nothing is connected to the battery?
Did you disconnect the fuse as seen in the video?
I having the same issue. The animation work only when i turn my car in acc mode. I would like to make it on when i lock/unlock my car....
Great video. My RX350 3rd Gen installed Vland headlight and tail light too. anyway, the blue light start up animation / DRL switch on while ignition in ACC mode, how do i make the blue animation / DRL switch on when I unlock my car door ? (Without start engine or switch on the ignition). Big thanks in advance
Is everything wired exactly as seen in the video?
Has anyone been having problems with their battery and power steering due to these lights? Installed these early April this year with a brand new battery, was driving it home tonight and they started fading when in idle, then the power steering light clicked on and later the battery icon showed up as well. Been reading that the cause may be the wire you connect to the battery so I removed it and I’m going to see if it helps.
How many miles on the car?
You may need a new alternator. These tend to go at around 80-100k
@@AutoHeadz 192k right now. Recharged my battery for now and everything is working good without the wire connected to the battery. But I will get that checked out and replaced if need be because I love that animation.
@@AutoHeadzya man that’s exactly what it was, that and the belt had a crack in it. All is working well now after the replacement.
Apparently the new ones don’t turn on when unlocking with remote can someone confirm
Mine don’t turn on when unlocking the car either, btw did you have any problems with your high beam?
@@danielviveros8165Hey lights working but i think they don’t turn on remote because they had issues and would drain the battery
Looks awesome. Did you hire a pro driver for the action shots?
Yes I did. Totally worth it!
I dig them but just the car doesn't look right with the stock bumpers with the updated lights, let alone the rest of the car being mostly stock
The new IS bumper will be coming soon.
Doing a bumber converstion anytime soon? 🤔
Coming soon!
Hi does anyone have the contact number for Vland? I ordered headlights and rear lights 5 days ago and so far I have had no confirmation email or delivery date. I emailed them a couple of times but they have not replied.
經典之作
Thank you!
I don’t think these are Vlands vlands have square chrome around the low and high beams. Yours look like HC Motion headlights which have a triangular shape around LB/HB
I assure you they are vlands….I bought them remember.
Change the bumper
U sending me the money?
