  • Continuing the disassembly of this bar stock engine. It seems like the deeper we dig the more we find including an egg and hourglass shaped cylinder liner and more. I repaired the knock at the crosshead in an unorthodox way while showing you a simple process on the mill. I didn't record the process on the lathe of making a replacement piston, but I'm sure that we'll get another engine in the shop that needs a piston but I'll be sure to record it and share it with you. Thank you all for watching and commenting, if you liked the video and don't mind, give me a thumb's up (it really does help) and if you're not subscribed to our channel, click the subscribe button if you want to see more. Thanks again, you guys are GREAT!

I like both long and short formats. The long formats are nice when you are showing detailed work like you did in this video and not just watching paint dry. Your videos always make my day.

skilled rebuild to counter the unskilled assembly. as to the base....bright red or black. the mounting points.....gold, of course. :-) stainless fasteners. 🙂

Bright red and black would look good. Your decision on which colour goes where. like both formats depends on what you have ready when you go to edit a video as to the length of it.

Out of respect to the builder, as many challenges that the builder had, maybe he had at least gotten the color correct.
