Hello Matt how have you been ? Good I hope. I've got to get caught up on your videos. I've been not feeling well and dealing with an eye infection in both eyes for the past month or so, but slowly getting better. Good to see or should I say hear ya.
Great to see it run . But parts glued ?. I have an aversion to glueing steel brass etc . You have installed ball bearing mains ? Then oiled the mains ? Where is that oil going to go if the bearing race is there
I said "glued" meaning that it is most likely sealed with silicone instead of a gasket like the the cylinder head and rear cover were. I did oil the main bearings, I don't know if I said it on the video or not but, I removed the seal on one side of the bearing (inner facing) so the bearings don't have to rely on the little bit of lube applied at the factory. Thank you for watching and commenting, I hope I answered your questions.
Sweet. Your video's help me with my engine's.
That's great! I'm glad that these videos are able to help others with their projects.
I think the base and paint suits the engine as is. if anything just true up the flywheels.
I still need to drill and tap the flywheel hubs to fit a set screw but we'll get to that soon enough 👍. Thank you for watching and commenting

Where do u find cool and different engines
On the shelf in my shop........ But honestly, I always keep my eyes open for them at swap meets, auctions, garage sales, etc
needs gold or black pin striping
I can try my luck with pinstripes, I agree that it would really set it off. Great suggestion 👍
I would love to have that engine sir 🇺🇸👍👍👍
You've got first dibs on it when I finish the flywheel hubs and inspect (repair) the valve chest
