Tracks of my tears, Hurt so bad, and Faithless Love..my favorite Linda Rondstadt songs..absolutely beautiful , was a dj at in my teens in Florida when tracks of my tears was a hit Only regret is not ever hearing her in person. Breaks my heart to hear she doesn't sing anymore because of her illness. Love you Linda!! Thanks for all the great songs you gave the world.
I saw Linda in concert during the late 70s. I think it was either Hampton Coliseum or William and Mary Hall. Anyway, I was blown away. She has always been my favorite female singer. She can sing any genre...rock, country, soul, pop and pop standards. An amazing talent indeed.
Her EYES, SPARKLE!!!!!, they absolutely SPARKLE like none other; incredible inner BEAUTY, voice like an angel and then melts you away into velvet! And her innocence, femininity, softness, 'the girl next door,' Absolute STUNNING BEAUTY, The Most Beautiful LADY ever; another gift to the world from our BOOMER generation and the LORD and for the world to , stand back & , wonder! (watch her live duets with Aaron Neville, then w/SMOKE!! (Smokey Robinson), I'm still weeping tears of joy
I so agree. Kenny was one of her original backing musicians with the Stone Poneys (whom I loved) but he is amazing and she brought him along for a reason (she is not stupid). His back up is great in every way and Dan Dugmore, he and Andrew Gold come across as both seriously talented musicians and seriously nice guys. My guess is she needed both around her. They showcased her and she showcased them - a wonderful combination of talents.
She was probably at her most gorgeous on Johnny Carson - not exactly the Hippy girl any more but seriously sexy, if a little mannered. It is sad what happened to her, age and illness get us all eventually but her amazing beauty was cut off too short and hard decisions had to be made including repudiating pretty much all the influences that had made her career..
You people are not a part of how I got to become opraetta 🦁 or Ordained minister. It happened long before we met you. Cynthia Sue Corcoran 🦁 opraetta means I do all the singing male and female on TV, film and radio.
Linda she used to e connected with any songs she sang. The way to sing, the moves, the dance,... All absolutely perfect! WOOOOW!...😍
I saw her on personon the 70s. Truly a great voice. A WONDERFUL EXPERIENCE! ILL NEVER FORGET IT!
Linda absolutely kills. No one has ever been like her. I loved her when I was a kid and I still do. No one will ever match her.

Couldn't agree with you more, the mark of a great vocalist is the ability to sing any genre.
Linda is one of the few singers who sounds almost exactly like her studio versions in concert!!!!!
She made her own career. She was an original who made a career for others.
Linda took her version all the way to #11 on the Country charts in early 1976. The only "Motown" song to make that chart.
Yes she is and was gorgeous. Wow what a woman!!
A nice liberal lady!
Take note "young ones"--THAT'S a good voice. . . .
one of my favorite songs...
she is so naturally cute
Cool guitar lead-in by Waddy Wachtel! Love this cover.
