My hair is just like yours LOCS are the same size and my ends are curly. I use distilled water, jojoba oil and glycerin. Every time I wet my hair just automatically curls.
Girl it’s like you knew I needed this video 🤩 Instant like and I haven’t even started watching yet lmao
i’m glad i could help 🫶🏾 i figured it would be easier to make a video because i’ve been getting a lot of questions like this
when you got your locs what did you request ? this is the perfect size i want. i don’t want micro locs but i also don’t want medium large size locs & i love the curly ends. this is the exact style i want!
i did them myself, i just knew i wanted small locs/ microlocs
here’s the video of me installing them ua-cam.com/video/pLIYYE8J2Fk/v-deo.htmlsi=0ow-CsZXj9rBiKjK
Then this isn't the style you want because she definitely has micro locs....
The ends will eventually loc, this is a transitional phase.
Wheww sis your locs are just flourishing girl!! So gorgeous
thank you beautiful! your locs will flourish too🤎
👀 Reads title, looks at first 10 seconds of video:
💭: Totally worth it! ❤
im glad you enjoyed, thank you for being here!
I sooooooo needed this these curly ends bout to drive me crazy
Gorgeous! I love grapeseed oil. I used it all throughout my journey. Now I’m using castor oil 9 years in. As far as your curly ends that may be your texture, it may bud and later on. Either way it’s beautiful ❤️🔥
thank you, i may give castor oil a try next!
I been thinking about starting over and making my locs smaller this is really a motivater
keep doing your research & do what makes your heart happy 🤍 how long have you had your current set ?
Most of mine have closed up now and a have a little curls left but it did t matter to me. I let my hair do what it needed to do🤷🏽♀️
how long have you been locd?
I started on 7/1/2022
Literally same Sis 😂. You make me feel better about my locs. Mine are exactly like yours 🫶🏽 I’m going to try grape-seed oil.
let me know how you like it!
Your hair is so pretty. I also have very curly ends. I use Avocado oil and I steam my hair after washing it.
thank you queen! what’s your steaming process like? how long do you steam? how often? i am going to be adding those to my regimen too
@@queentyquana I purchased a full head steamer It's similar to those hair dryers at the beauty salon. I steam with my hair on top of my head for 10-15 minutes and then I let it down and steam the roots and shaft for 10-15minutes.
After I shampoo I spray my hair with this water-based leave-in by design essentials is called HCO leaving conditioner It's very light. Then I sit under the steamer. And then I seal in the moisture with some of the design essentials curl cream and avocado oil. I have to keep my hair moisturized because I dyed my locks black as well prior to getting them installed and I noticed that my ends were dry trying to not use any products. Hope that helps.
@@TheUnicornQueenT thank you for your response, i’ll be doing a steam treatment on my locs soon
I am so glad I found your video because I get exactly what you’re saying! I love my defined curls but am looking for the control the locs may give, if that makes any sense. I’m at the beginning of my research so I might not know what I’m talking about!😂 But thanks for sharing.
You are so welcome!
How often do you moisturise? Some pple say don't apply oil on locs and some say to do so, I'm just a bit confused
How do you stop the ends from locking?
I really want curly ends. I love the look. I have researching locs. Thank you for sharing.❤
you’re so welcome 💓 you’ll love your locs so much
i love your locs sooo much. did you ever deal with a frizzy phase? my hair is so frizzy lol i’m going to try the grape seed oil.
thank youuu🫶🏾 yes i still have lots of frizz now but definitely in the beginning.
my hair loves grapeseed oil hopefully it works well for you too
heres my locs at 4 months ua-cam.com/video/367FNfGAk-c/v-deo.html
I’m only a month in and my ends naturally do the same thing but I was having issues with figuring out what my hair needed since coming from loose natural.
do you think you’ve figured it out?
Almost all of the locs in the back of my head are closed and the front looks like yours. I’m just rolling with it.
that’s really all we can do. did you have a preference for loose ends or not really?
@@queentyquana Not really to be honest. I began with small braids in December 2022 and decided to keep them in for a year. I’m loving the resulting locs. I always thought I’d start with two strand twists but the braids have distressed nicely and I probably have less shrinkage than I would with twists. My hair is so many different textures. I’m accepting the process! ❤️Yours are amazing!
@@terrylee7812 thank you, i know yours are amazing as well!!
When you started your locs did you do the two strand twins right out to the end? My hair is curly im really considering locs but I want to leave my ends curly just wondering how I can achieve this
yes, i twisted all the way to the ends. i didn’t intentionally leave any amount of the ends loose they just came a loose naturally
My loc barrier is that I want to keep my coils to some extent. . I love your hair!
thank you! its possible, you may just have to go the extra mile and comb your ends routinely to ensure they don’t loc
i feel like the curls are gonna disappear over time anyways why put in all the effort to maintain them😭😭
idk some people have been locked for a while and still have their curls
Did you start out with braids or twist
two strand twists
Omg!!! Too cute.❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
thank you 🤎🤎
What loc size do you have is this considered sister locs?
these are microlocs, im not sure of the sizing
What size locs do you have? It's pretty
thank you! im not sure of the size but they are consistieres microlocs
How often do you moisturize your locs
as needed tbh. mainly after i’ve wet my hair in the shower. i do a full loc moisture routine about 2x a month
@queentyquana what’s your “full loc Moisture routine“…..👀
@@tjluv1649 here’s an older video: ua-cam.com/video/vafqOtGPLdY/v-deo.htmlsi=cCga92rlfSq0wfYf i’ll upload a more updated one soon
but it still pretty much the same
I currently have curls at the end of my locs. But it's a love hate relationship. What should i do if i want to loc the ends instead of keeping them curly?
i wish i could help but i’m not really sure
They will bud eventually. When I started my first set, my ends were curly and after a while they budded without doing anything - some parts of my hair faster than others depending on the texture of that section of hair
Search hanging Bantu knots!
I been trying to figure out if i should re twist my ends that come loose or leave em. I like having the curly ends but Idk what to do to it. I like the way it looks I just hate that my hair isn't even. I can't style it much until the middle of my head grows out. My hair is long everywhere else but the middle.
if it’s just the ends i leave them but if it goes up into the twist i retwist
@queentyquana is always the twist. I can't keep then from un twisting but I don't want braids at all
@@mizdut3z do you manipulate your hair when it’s wet? i noticed that’s when i got the most slippage. maybe try braiding and banding when you wash them if you don’t already
@queentyquana oh I've never done or heard that before. O only wash it once a month beefier re tie
@@mizdut3z it’s basically when you braid into small sections before washing and wash them in those braids. and allow them to atleast 90% dry before taking the braids out. going to link a tutorial
My loc goals!!
im honored💞
How many locs do you have
260
I have 269 and my hair look just like yours.❤@queentyquana
How many locs do you have?
260
@@queentyquana thank you for the feedback
