The final bit on slicks reminded me of getting used to my 125 Rotax kart back in the ‘90s. Karting had moved on from skinny hard slicks to full on wide sticky Bridgestones and the G forces through corners were bruising on hips, torso and neck.
Really enjoyed the video. What an amazing piece of machinery! One thing I will mention though is that you comment about the amount of titanium used in the Valkyrie being something comparable to the “SR-70 bomber” (relatively speaking ,of course). The plane you’re referencing is actually not a bomber, but an extreme high altitude Mach 3 reconnaissance aircraft known as the SR-71 Blackbird which has a structure that is 85% titanium. Fyi. Great video. Love most content Carwow put out, but these deep dives into a single specific car are always a joy to watch. Especially with the hands on tour from those involved in the development.
Can we all just appreciate though the glorious sound coming from those NA V12 engines? You will never get a better noise from anything with a turbo.
Love the Valkyrie. Wild, strong yet elegant. Too beautiful it has become one of my dream cars now. Matt is the all round best presenter indeed. He made it extra fun to watch.

Loved to hear about the lengths they went to save weight on the stop light and rear number plate light...it gives you some idea of just how much detail they look into everything to get maximum performance while keeping it legal for the road..great design excucuted beautifully. Top marks Aston Martin. 😎🙌
True, but when a metal badge is that thin, isn't it just a foil sticker?
@@kjh23gk_metal_ foil ;)
18:20 The titanium SR 71 wasn't a bomber but it was the fastest piloted air breathing Mach 3+ strategic reconnaissance plane ever made.
I really love the fact that I can feel the passion in the eyes of the people you interviewed, because cars are also about emotions

Hair on my arms instantly standing up with the sound of this car! Amazing form of engineering from Aston Martin!
This is The type of video and explaining I want for cars. Stunning informative ❤
Absolutely magnificent video. I honestly think this is my favourite video that you’ve ever done. Love your passion. Thanks Mat 👌
This will be Fernando’s bonus at the end of season 😂
He would 100% deserve it to be honest.
Stroll already has one.
This has been a very long time coming. I am beyond hyped.
The most amazing ball busting, sphincter stretching, insane piece of auto engineering ever! Nothing else comes close to this genuine road F1 car. Great video with really genuine excitment that comes across in spades.
It's faster than F1 cars
@@topg2820 not even close, max speed? Maybe cus less downforce, track times? This thing aint even in the same realm
That fact about the titanium is mind boggling! That's insane, this was a really cool video. Hope we get to see more informational videos like this one!
Best moment in Mat's entire career/life 12:15
Thank you Matt and Carwow for giving us such amazing content for free

Awesome car 🔥🔥🔥,
Mat's face was literally terrified 😫😂
Yet he drives it well though!!!!
What a gorgeous car. A work of art.
i am so impressed with how good Mat is at sharing of his feelings and experience! wonderful!
He winged the whole way
We want more track videos like this one with more cars like the McMurtry Speirling!
That AMR Pro drive 🤣 I was getting Alan Partridge vibes from Mat's expressions there. What a monster machine!

Stunning machine, great informative vid. This is by far the best review of the Valkyrie...and Mat always fun to watch and listen to! Hilarious 🤣
Props to the camera work and production in this video . Amazing footage of the active aero
Except for the colorgrading at 16:43 for example lol
Absolutely amazing. I really enjoyed this one, Matt. I'm looking forward to see more like this. Well done 👏
Incredible how far you guys have come. Keep it up!

Fyi. Keep up the great videos! 👍
I also can't see them using so much titanium on the car.
@@furtivedig The reference was more so on the bulk order of titanium for all the cars they are going to make, rather than using that amount in a single car.
@@kdmion sure, but they are not building that many. Blackbird were fewer still, but much heavier beasts. I am just surprised that's all.
I bet they didn't even have to use CIA shell corporations to buy it from Russia smdh.
My favorite thing about Matt vs. Other car journalists is that he is not afraid to call it how he sees it. If he messes up he'll say it. But he will also call em out on the corporate speak lol. And he doesn't take himself seriously.
yea I also like how they left in the shots where they had to re-charge the battery again. many would simply cut because it's not sxy.
Matt came a long way , from reviewing normal road cars , to reviewing ultra limited edition hypercars like this Vulcan , incredible video !
This is the valkryie, but the Vulcan is also mental
Vulcan
@@RockyFoxxowo Vulcan is a step above Valkyrie
@@nchmusic99 the Valhalla is the sister car to this, the Vulcan is an FR track only vehicle

I always crack myself up for your vids Mat very unique way of reviewing cars even the misses asks what u watching at times 🤣. Sa fan and this blew my mind just as yours, that engineer talk..........
The noise regulation one is genius 😂
On another note. Great job on this video MW. And the guys at AM were super awesome, intelligent, and naturally witty themselves.

Dying at some of the faces Matt was pulling 😂
This car is insane. Instantly my dream car to drive.
Lmao I could not stop laughing at him trying to get in 😂
What a beautiful car. The engineering that goes in to these vehicles is so impressive. My daughter is learning how to do this. Second year in engineering. I hope she will be engaged in such a wonderful program as this.
22:36 "If I got a button that makes you go quicker, I'm gonna press it as many times as I possibly can." Lol Matt, that was hilarious 😂.
I just can't wrap my head around the fact that they managed to produce a monster of a car that is also so beautiful... What a machine!

Hilarious near the end 😂 and WOW WHAT A CAR !!! Astonishing absolutely fantastic achievement.
What a lethal beauty love it!! What a masterpiece 🔥🔥
One of your best videos ever Matt, never been a fan of Aston but that car has changed my mind, hope the lucky few enjoy it to the full 😊
Amazingly shot video. Nice to walk around with Miles and James. Then the on track experience. Great video
The design of this car is incredible. You had me at the diffuser behind the front wheel to pull the air on the inside. So cool
@@AzathothsAlarmClock Thanks for the history lesson. I am saying that this car does it well, also.
@@AzathothsAlarmClock Alright, I get it. You're not impressed.
This review was both entertaining and informative. It was fascinating to watch the reactions to a professional driver tearing up the track. And hey, the time difference wasn't bad at all! Great job on the video!
Simply Phenomenal, a work of Art in every single way, it could only be an Aston Martin! 😍
The level of detail is simply staggering. Its a shame that these will likely just sit in a garage .. irony i guess.
It cuts both ways. It's a shame that many will not be driven and also a shame that even if driven, can't be utilized anywhere near it's potential on a public road. Honestly, it's too much car for public use anyway.
@@ryankuypers1819 Well, you can, driving it fast while swerving between cars.
@@Sm00thieK good idea 👍
I really wish Yianni would've interrupted Mat halfway during the car review and said "It's time for our 100m running race, Matthew"
