- Turkey decoys and decoy strategies have come a long way. Mark and Erik (Slingin' Rik) Barber discus decoy styles, paint schemes, posture, snood position and when to use Jakes, hens, and strutters. They also cover placement, which way they should face, and the often under looked consideration of decoy-stake height.

Love the turkey talk podcasts. The season is drawing near, and I'm eager to hear other's experiences and tips/advice. I went out a few rimes last year, but couldn't get one close enough for a shot.
7.62x39 talk! Time to drag Ryan to the mike.

Thanks for posting this. I was just about to pull the trigger on some decoys for my first upcoming hunt in the U.P. Great timing!
Can we get more wild game cooking podcasts and maybe a turkey processing video
@Invalid Characters clearly you haven't watched their other videos as I reply to a video about hunting turkey.
Off topic but I was listening to your podcast on America's cartridge. As a young adult who is getting started buying rifles, I'm interested a lot in balancing performance vs commonality and availability of ammo. (Nobody wants to buy 6.5 prc right now bc you can't find ammo and if you do it costs a future) meanwhile 308 is still "reasonable".
Wondering if there is any actual data in the number of rifles sold in a given chambering. Bonus if you could breaj down by years ie how many have been sold in the last 10 years..
Tim Wells Bow Hunter knows how to decoy and slock them turkeys
