The only reason I watched this video was the mini title of "Triangle of Death". But glad I watched it. Good info
I'll have to give that a shot next season, dropped a 24 pound tom last night about 640pm. Love hunting those turkeys.
Just wanted to come here to say that I used your triangle of death setup today. Fourth time hunting this property and couldn’t close the deal prior. Today, double up on toms. 3 Jakes came in first. Once the toms saw the jakes messing with the Jake decoy, they came in and challenged the strutter. 1, 2, 3, double boom and two toms down :) Thanks for the tips!!

I wanted to say thank you for your video. I was hunting a pair of Tom’s North of Mobile, Alabama that had taken over a strut field from an old dominant bird that had been killed a few weeks earlier. (Likely poached because the field belongs to a former member of our club who died and no one is allowed to hunt us but us, and it’s a sunken field protected by swamp on 2 sides, a creek with trees and 10 foot rise then 50 acres of open flat field. It’s damn near impossible to get then once they make it to the field, so we play a guessing game of their roost and try to cut them off.
I guessed right and located them with owl call but was skittish on getting too close as my buddy bumped them a few days earlier and they hit the field.
We played google games after they breeded their hens but they wouldn’t come of that field. I recharged and regrouped, (it was hot as helland I was out of water, an and around noon. I had listen to this and since we had a little breeze and I had an hour left I decided to use your setup on edge of field. I put out Mr B full strutter, funky chicken breeding a hen, and a feeding hen in a triangle and then set against fence line, kinda hidden by shade and tree with big fig tree like leaves. About 30 minutes later after some light calling the two Tom’s came running in from behind about 10 feet away, almost running over me. I couldn’t believe these damn birds which can spot you in full camo in the swamp 100 yards away didn’t see me but they were locked on the strutter, they circled it a few times then ran on to the Jake and started going at him. Still stunned they hadn’t seen me, I resolved to take first shot I had of whatever bird I could get. ( I didn’t move but I literally saw both beards as they flew by me and both were solid. I knew one of these birds was older but pigs get feed hogs get slaughtered.) Anyway, he stuck out his head I put the red dot on him and Apex TSS did the rest. A great way to end the season on last weekend. A nice 20 pound bird with 10 inch beard and ridiculously sharp 1 inch 1/8 inch spurs.

Glad you got a solid bird out of the decoy spread! Triangle of Death worked great for me early season this year as well!
I do a variation of this but a diamond. Look out hen or relaxed upright hen at the front point (dominate hen) two feeder hens as the side points of the diamond then a jake or full strut behind a laydown hen as the back point. It works and like you said a subordinate Tom will circle and engage the lead hen and a aggressive Tom engages the breeding pair. I use the lighter tip hen decoys also for Eastern they just pop at a distance in a field more. We have some white real hens running around and because they are so visible gobblers follow them everywhere. Silicon spray the avian stake head and hole on the decoy the decoys will move easier in a breeze

Great tips, however I have shot a ton of Tom's in thick woods with no decoy. Some of my closest encounters.
Nothing better than getting a jump on a bird in thick cover!
I want a robot turkey so I can fight the Tom. Maybe kill it with robot, or the gun. That would be pretty fun.

Multiple male turkey decoys is a big fail. 0/10 would not recommend.
@Kevin just depends on how your birds are behaving. If you have a bunch of subordinate birds then only use hens
Decoys are not essential
Leave the decoys in the closet. That’s the best set-up for them.
Leave the shotgun in the closet and use a bow exclusively. Head shots only.
