Pritchard is actually one of my favorite characters. Yes, he starts out as a shithead, but throughout the game he becomes one of Adam's most faithful and helpful allies and really starts to care about him, like after you get out of the stasis bed thing and he says something like "Oh Jensen thank god, what happened to you?" after he picks up your GPL signal after a couple weeks. He's the only character who never lies to him throughout the whole game, he just gives it to Adam straight the whole time even if he's a dick about it.
Really bothered me how he only showed up in the sequel in a single DLC

@@DrSallyB Yeah, the gang is all fine, but SBF itself is no more; the guys have all gone their separate ways. They still have their solo projects, but no more group games like this.

The closest to OG SBF is probably Woolie's channel (Woolie Versus) where he plays shit in a similar format to the SBF channel, only the guests tend to change quite a lot. For example, In the 3rd Birthday LP he has Minh/Billy for the ride, in DMC he has Pat Fuckboivin and for Nier: Automata he had Rising Superstar Liam. Maybe that's for the better? I dunno, but his stuff is enjoyable.
Not to say that Matt and Pat's stuff is bad, Matt's imo better stuff is about critique and analysis and Pat... well, I haven't gone through too much stuff from him, but he does a LOT of streams and ups it to his YT channel. Same goes for Liam.

Anytime Matt tells stories of his life testing, I'm usually of two minds but for the most part it sounds like it was less than great most days more in part to how devs will take certain bug reports.
Anytime the Best Friends tell a story from their past I get excited. Whether it's Woolie's stories of Granada, Pat's stories of his family, or Matt's story of testing, it's always a fun time.

The joke Matt made near the end where he's like "Dead Space 2 was too polished, it didn't have any personality" is in reality an actually dumb argument or stance to take, but one I somewhat agree with in the back of my mind. When you say a game is polished, to me that means it isn't riddled with bugs and glitches. Now I definitely don't want to deal constant glitches, or game breaking bugs, but I really don't want there to be a point where good games will NEVER have funny glitches happen, like people driving outside of their cars, or in Spider-Man PS4 where one streamer had a glitchy opening in which Peter's hair was off his head, his body was twisted in the wrong directions, it's hilarious.
I want to point out that I'm using this opportunity to express how I feel, that I don't ever want the standard for games to be they're so well polished that glitches will never occur, and to procrastinate for 5 minutes when I should be doing some work.

Interesting. Isnt it true that the end is canon, but Jensens memories were tampered whem he was found at the bottom of the ocean? I know there was a small subplot (that I assume would be the focus of the cancelled third game) where Jensen found the doctor who took care of him in Alaska dead in his apartment with specs for Adam's super mega Augs. And Eliza was suggested to know about you since you created the part of her that became the rogue AI in the first game. Idk doesn't matter game failed for some reason
