Nah they didn't create him for propaganda, they created him as the first of what they had hoped would be an army. But they only got one, so they kept him out of the war to continue to try and replictate the serum. That senator just decided to use him for propaganda to make himself look better and make money.
Someone might have mentioned it already, but Steve throwing himself on what he believed to be a real grenade is the most effective decision he could have taken to protect his comrades. When you see a grenade you very much don't know how much time you have before it explodes, and tossing it away would have taken precious time. Also the human body is a fantastic blast dampener so Steve would have most likely died but everyone around would have been safe from the shrapnel. Soldiers have won the Medal of Honor solely for throwing themselves on grenades to save the lives of those around them.
@@TheOctobersReact also, there are several serum's out there in the mcu. when you get to the winter soldier, you should start agents of shield and agent carter!
@@TheOctobersReact bucky and his mother raised steve after steve's parents died. that's why your getting the brother vibes from them. if (not too sure) i remember correctly it was like 6+ years he lived with bucky.
@@TheOctobersReact fyi, the serum has the effect of putting the person into a suspended sleep that preserves the person. anyone treated with that serum would get that effect.
I love the scene with the flag. The whole reason Steve was chosen is because he didnt have physical strength, so he has respect, compassion and intelligence. No point making a tough grunt stronger, its best to give the smart guy power cause then hes the best of both
@@TheOctobersReact the serum couldn't raise his strength THAT much, it would make him stronger than Steve but still in the same general category. Just a bigger stronger dude to start off with, yields even better physical results. Maybe that guy could lift 5-6 tons instead of 3-4 tons like Steve. But he'd still be below Spider-Man (10-15 tons) or Thor and Hulk (100+ tons)
@@neospock5034 I've seen no instance where the serum is proportional to the strength of the subject, otherwise Banner who was a thin guy himself wouldn't have become HULK who's as strong as Thor. The OEM serum enhances the being to it's peak abilities in SYNERGY. The BOOTLEG serums do things differently with many negative side effects that most reasonable persons wouldn't want. A key note is how they effect the BRAIN which then ruins the whole point (Hulk going on rampages, Red Skull's pure evil, Abomination) of the enhancements. This is why the Dr. Chose a mentally STABLE and virtuous person as the serum does not fix mental flaws, only PHYSICAL ones. It does enhance thought/process speed (still a physical biological aspect) but cannot fix your core values.
Steve's also an artist so he has a strong imagination, which might work as a strategist and someone who learns unconventionally. Maybe how he learns varying martial arts later as seen in Winter Soldier. Also, how he later can take longer leaps with or without a parachute. Not sure if what I said makes sense. Steve was a smart guy to begin with, and morally stable with strong convictions and the serum aloud him to finally transition that to fighting the Good fight.
Skinny Steve jumping on the grenade will always be one of the best scenes in the MCU. Gives me goosebumps every time. What a great story. Love your reaction!
Howard Stark was one of my favourite characters in the entire Marvel series...he may not have been a super hero...but he was a great man. he has a tragic line he states later in the series that is so true, he may have been capable of great things but "he was limited by the technology of his time".
5:43 Alot of people miss this but the "Dr. Phineas Horton presents The Synthetic Man." on display here is based on Jim Hammond, the original Human Torch. He was a member of the Invaders alongside Steve Rogers/Captain America, Bucky Barnes and Namor. he was also the first characters to appear in a Marvel Comics publication, debuting in 1939's Marvel Comics Vol 1 #1 alongside Namor while Captain America was created on March 1941 just two years later. The Fantastic Four (Introduced in 1961) also has a Human Touch known as Johnny Storm who became extremally popular so that's who everyone thinks of when someone mentions The Human Torch, original Synthetic Man is very much a forgotten character. On the topic of the Human Touch Chris Evans the actor who plays Captain America actually played The Human Torch in the 2005 Fantastic Four film and it's sequels. This was before Marvel films had any shared continuity between films so everything from X-Men, Fantastic Four, Hulk, Daredevil, Punisher, Spider-Man, Blade they had no connection to each other. So Chris Evans playing two Marvel Superhero's has no effect on the MCU as all the movies I've mentioned above don't take place in the MCU. Fox owned the movie rights to both F4 and X-Men up until 2019 when Disney bought Fox who also own Marvel so they're actually developing an MCU F4 film at the moment with alot of casting rumours on who will play certain characters. But this will release in like 2024/2025 so you're a long way from that.
The Incredible Hulk actually is MCU canon. It's often placed as the 2nd MCU movie even though it could technically be considered the 1st. Iron Man really seems to work better as the 1st to highlight his role, though.
Evans can play BOTH Steve and Johnny in the MCU if Eddie Murphy and the Madea guy can play multiple characters in the same movie. DOUBLE PAY CHECK FTW!
It's not just that he's physically stronger but also mentally sharp as a tack. He knows tactics, how to plan and how to lead. You'll see. Love that you're on this journey. I really enjoy ya'lls channel.
@@TheOctobersReact At the end of The Avengers when Cap tells everyone what to do,he's using their individual strengths to work as a team. He's the glue for the whole team. I'll go ahead and put it out there and suggest the Rocky series if you guys haven't seen them yet. Later tater.
He also develops some oratory skills for inspiration and command while working as the war bonds advertising mascot. Notice how the first time he gives the speech, he's not that good, but eventually, it just comes out naturally.

Speaking of Connections, here's one that some people tend to miss...remember Blonsky in "The Incredible Hulk?" That Serum they were using to Enhance him was one of their attempts at recreating Captain America: after one dose, Blonsky could Run Faster and Jump Higher just like Cap!
So far, best origin story for me is thor. Because his character went through a whole character arc in his first film.. Tony stark did improve and change in his morals. But he's still egotistical and arrogant
Iron man is my favorite, then Thor! Not sure if it's because he was my first introduction that made me love the MCU but I love his snarky character. Lol And we'll Thor, I mean (GOD OF THUNDER)❤❤ come on. 😂😂
Many people skip the "Agent Carter" TV series, where Peggy goes on with life. It is actually pretty good and provides additional background for the movies that followed it.
Because of all the flashbacks - which is a common technique in movies - you can't really watch these films in "chronological" order. They're made to be watched in release order. BTW, not sure if you noticed, but this movie and the previous Thor film kind of do the same thing, opening in the real world, then going back in time at the same location - Tonsberg, Norway - spending some time in the past, then returning to the present. The linkage to Norway is there because of the tesseract, from Odin's treasure room. FWIW, Hugo Weaving - the actor who played the Red Skull here - is an actor you will definitely be seeing again in other great films. While it's not his most famous role, I'd say his best, most commanding role is in "V for Vendetta," a DC Comics movie.
The tesseract is made from a space magic element. The Arc reactor Howard built in his facility in the one that Tony bills in the first movie is made from the element palladium which is why it in no other earthly element work fully to provide unlimited energy. Howard figures the elemental composition for the cube but Tony create it. The synthetic element of the tesseract which it's why it fixes Tony palladium poisoning.
Also worth noting is that the name "Tesseract" is not just a made-up word. In the comics, it was originally called "The Cosmic Cube", which is admittedly a kind of dumb name. "Tesseract" is much cooler. What a tesseract actually is, is the four-dimensional analog of a cube. What in multi-dimensional geometry is called a "measure polytope". The 2-D measure polytope is a square, the 3-D one is the cube, and the 4-D one is the tesseract. 5- and higher dimension versions don't have special names, and are usually just called "hypercubes". So you could have a "five-dimensional hypercube", or a "six-dimensional hypercube". It gets to be a mouthful, so they often shorten it to "5-cube", "6-cube", etc. Just some trivia from your friendly neighborhood math nerd.
A hydra is mythological dragon like serpent, it originates from greek mythology. Like he kept saying, evevry time you cut off one of it's heads it regenerats and grows two more heads
When I was a kid watching the Capt. America cartoon series in the 60's it was compelling when showing scenes of war, a huge Red Skull would appear in the background/sky. Even as a child I recognized the symbolism. This villain had what appeared to be unlimited resources and just kept coming. I sorta remember the theme song as well: "When Capt. America throws his mighty shield....".
The drill instructor did not specify _how_ to get the flag. He instructed them to bring him the flag. No one but Steve took that to mean I need to get that flag. But you didn't tell me specifically to climb for it. Worst that could come from Steve's action is that the drill instructor gets bent out of shape because Steve took liberties in how to get the flag. Alternatively, he just showed everyone over the last 17 years why they were too focused to see the solution. 11:50-11:58 there is a short delay between a grenade handle being released and the detonation of the grenade. By the time it hits the ground, you don't have any idea if you have half a second or 5 seconds. If you try to throw it, 1. You have to get to it, 2. successfully pick it up (sounds simple, but under stress?) 3. figure out where to throw it to minimize injuries, 4. hope there's enough delay left in it for it to travel clear of your allies. anywhere in that entire time, it could go off, and Steve, being a bit unathletic, is going to be hard pressed to throw it far enough to get it safely away from everyone even with a full 5 seconds. By wrapping around it, the concussive force will be blunted and virtually no solid shrapnel is going to be flying. Even skinny as he is, he'd absorb better than 80% of the grenades destructive power. That means anyone else only has to worry about the remaining 20% or less, which is going out in all directions so it is 80% less effective against someone who is right by him, and far less likely to significantly injure anyone more than 5 feet from him, 25:00-26:10 The super soldier process was supposed to be to create a team of super soldiers, Steve was supposed to be the first of many, but when the scientist who could create the formula was killed, they couldn't make more. Rather than letting his impressiveness go to waste, they put him in the field as a propaganda instrument. 28:15-28:25 The Tesseract and the ARC Reactor are unrelated as far as I know. Essentially the serum made the pinnacle of human capability, pound for pound as strong, more agile and fast as a professional athlete could hope to achieve. 38:45-38:50 First, that was the _Second_ Iron Man Movie. Second, for reasons I expressed a few hours ago in a comment on that reaction, I don't believe it to have been Captain America's Shield (As we find at the opening of this movie, it was in the ice with Captain America since the 1940s and wasn't unearthed until after the events of Iron Man I.) HYDRA came to hold so much power by working within the Nazi Party of Germany, with the Chancellor Adolf Hitler. Schmidt just sees that it should be HYDRA that ends up on top. For a time it benefited HYDRA to work within the Nazi war machine.
Captain America is my hero, all around. His story is just so powerful, and I love just how... willing he is to stand up to people who tell him not to do what he believes is right. I'm really excited to see you continue with his story in these movies.

His Shield made of vibranium , even though that metal doesn't exist in real life it is one of the strongest metals in all of marvel, behing that super strength he can throw it 5 times as hard as a regular man, very good at geometry which is why he can ricochet it off numerous surfaces to hit object or opponents and most of the time comes right back to him.
@@TheOctobersReact no they discover a piece of vibranium meteor and yes I said meteor so it's from space so they discovered it. @@TheOctobersReactHoward didn't necessarily create or come up with it. Its sort of like how certain countries have the materials but aren't allowing other countries like the US to have them so that shield was the last of vibranium they had
5x regular man? Nah 5 times a FIT Athletic man and with his increased reflexes and reaction time probably 15 to 30 times harder. The force of impact increases with SPEED not just the strength portion, lastly his ACCURACY makes it more impactful. If you throw a punch incorrectly or land at the wrong spot, a weaker opponent doing both correctly will best you. In the beginning scene they only showed the shield.. it created doubt as to whether they found the captain, or the perhaps the captain wanted to find his shield. they did say, "I don't care what time it is, this one has waited long enough". there could have been doubt as to what it was.
My dad was 17 and enlisted in the Navy..he ended up in the “air” part of the Navy, met my mom as she worked in the Navy cataloging planes at an airfield. He flew between the States and South America.
So as far as Cap's abilities as granted by the Super Soldier serum, the process essentially unlocked peak potential human strength, reflexes, agility, and constitution in his genetic code. As far as his military training, he completed basic training, but Steve Rogers himself was fairly intelligent and incredibly brave to start with. As he gets more experience during the war; his instincts, muscle memory, and fight skill only increses through use.
Most miss it but in the movie when the other soldiers were going out to enjoy 'leave' he stood behind reading BOOKS ON WAR STRATEGY and other works. In the comics he always trained even though he was at peak ability, pushing himself to do insane feats in battle, and studied EVERY Avenger and foe in the Avengers database and character in the world with powers, this way he was ready in battle against them or to utilize Avengers to their fullest abilities or best positions(as seen in Avengers movie). Most characters only have special abilities with little proper training or experience, things Steve has above everyone and only few like Thor, Black Panther, Reed Richards, or Shang Chi have near as much, and only in the creation side he's lacking (Reed, Tony, Dr Doom, Machinesmith, Red Skull, Arnim Zola, etc.)
35:01 I dont think the Hulk was available at that time.. as in Bruce Banner didn't become the hulk through his works with Gamma Radiation at that time. Captain America the first Avenger, the movie is named like that for a reason.. 😊
Crazy how Steve has and worked with both Stark men. By "a few years", Howard meant at least 70 since we still haven't gotten there yet lol. The whole propaganda thing was the senator's "hey I paid for this, vote for me" bit. He was given the serum to do exactly what he did, fight on the front lines.
Both Steve, and Bucky are friends, but they are more like brothers. They both grew up together when they were kids so that makes their relationship/bond stronger as of brothers. P.S. Fun fact about this movie the Director’s daughter (and wife I think) is in this movie his daughter is wearing a “red hat” in London. But if you need a little help watch the movie again on the commentary it was both helpful, and interesting at the same time.
True, not propaganda, they just benched Steve because the general was promised an army of Super Soldiers but since he only had one he felt like it was not nearly enough to win the war so Steve was benched as the Armie's Posterboy
This isn't my favorite movie out of the Captain America franchise but it's still so good and this is the only one I regret not seeing in theaters but glad I went to see every other one afterwards on the big screen. Great reaction as always you guys!! ❤
Hugo Weaving who played Red Skull was also Agent Smith in The Matrix and Elrond in The Lord of the Rings franchise. First guess that Schmidt was Red Skull. Impressive.
What happened was they wanted an Army of Super Soldiers, but after the Doctor got killed and the last of the Serum was taken they couldn't reproduce it. So all they got was him.
Now, you are going to meet the man who hasn't the best of superpowers but still he will lead the Gods, superhumans, Androids, aliens, wizards of this universe. The heart of MCU. "CAP"❤
It's about personality. The long "Steve" section shows that he was patriotic, smart, brave, self-sacrificing and determined before the Project. Tony learned how to be a hero, Steve already was one.

Steve Rogers doesn’t necessarily have super powers. The super soldier serum turned him into a “peak human”. Steve Rogers has reached the evolutionary maximum of human potential. He can bench press 1,200 lbs. He can run about 50 mph. He can jump 20 feet straight into the air. He has the flexibility of a gymnast. In other words, if he entered the Olympics, Steve would win gold medals in every event. Also, because of his fast metabolism, he cannot get drunk or drugged.
Also, he has a high intellect. Not a Tony Stark super genius mind, but he's able to almost instantly grasp the tactical situation, assess what resources and soldiers he has available, and formulate the best possible plan. Steve also has an innate ability to inspire those around him and get them to do the best they are capable of doing. He is the ultimate leader as much as he is the ultimate soldier.
Just a bit of background on Captain America in the comics - the character was actually created in 1940 (just BEFORE the United States officially entered World War II) published by Timely Comics (which was a pre-cursor to Marvel Comics). And on the cover of the first issue he is indeed shown punching Adolf Hitler in the jaw just like what is shown in the movie. The comic book was popular through the War years but died out in the 1950's. In the early 1960's super-hero comics published by Marvel comics were gaining popularity and Marvel decided to revive the Captain America character. They came up with a story line that he had been frozen in ice at the end of World War II and the Avengers found him floating in the ocean and revived him. The movie does a pretty good job taking all of that character lore and making a cohesive story out of it.
Synopsis: A man named Steve Rogers submits himself to government funded experiments to get out of the friend zone and ends up with super-human abilities.
So even in a fictional setting black people were used and treated poorly by the evil white man, those poor people just can't catch a break even in a fake world, must be so hard for them
In the time of WWII they were creating a serum in the hopes of perfecting a type of Super soldier...unfortunately the complications that came with this were many; side effects...as one could expect...they had to be sure they chose the right person for it. Dr Erskine was not only concerned with the physical abilities of a man...but also their morality...he needs someone who is pure of heart.
Fun fact. This is Chris Evans Second second Marvel he also played Johnny Storm in the earlier Fantastic Four movies which is marvel but not in the MCU.
The scene when Peggy almost touches Steve's chest inmediately after he left the casket was not scripted. It was tge first time the actress saw him without his shirt and it was an involuntary motion. This btw came from the actress herself. If you really want to get into things you can watch the series Agent Carter
The gun the woman in the bookstore uses is a M-1921 Thompson submachine gun with a straight magazine instead of the more distinctive drum. Once the Hydra agent takes it after shooting her down, it magically becomes a M-1928 Thompson.
Guys if you liked the story told in this era you should watch “Agent Carter “ : they canceled the show after only 2 seasons but it was one of my favourites and the characters were great
Huh. It never occurred to me until just now that Stark's weapons tech probably got a significant boost from studying all that Hydra tech. Howard even says about the submarine that it's tech he has never seen before.
You were supposed to watch that post credit scene which was basically a trailer for the next movie. Continue with the release order because of the post credit scenes, but I will say in phase 2, you can get away with shifting certain movies around
Fun fact: When the first pan through the Stark Expo, the "man" in the glass tube is the original Human Torch. He was an android created by Dr. Phineas Horton. The Android had the ability to create fire and was fully aware. He became a hero during wartime. He would later team with a young man named Toro Raymond, a mutant who could generate fire too. They would team with Captain America and Major in The Invaders and ally winners Squad.
Yes that's all true in the Earth 616 comics, however the MCU is an alternate universe with different history (technically Earth 199999). In the MCU, the Invaders and All Winners squad never existed and the android human torch was just an exhibition at the Stark Expo, he never became a superhero (in fact it's not clear if he was even functional).
you know we have just seen the avengers and it didn’t really even explain the complete magnitude of that thing so maybe during editing we will find out!

14:07...This was awesome. Wunderbar, absolut wunderbar! (As Schmidt might say) 😊😊😊
Captain America is, essentially, a "peak human". He has as much strength, stamina, agility and so on as a human could possibly have (and slightly more in some cases).
Super Soldier Serum give the person Enhanced Physiology: Strength, Speed, Reflexes, Endurance, Stamina, Focus. As well as your cells as said in the movie, can't get drunk, burn off fat 3 times more. So ur literally an actual Superhuman( if humans evolved again)
in the comics the super-soldier serum just elevated people to the upper limit of normal human physical ability. But in the MCU the serum is more effective, making Steve actually low-level superhuman. Comic book Captain America could officially lift a maximum of 800 lbs overhead and bench press 1200 lbs, but in the MCU he's much stronger, able to lift about 2 tons overhead (and bench press roughly 50% more)
They were going to make the entire platoon into super soldiers. But the scientist got shot and took the formula to the grave with him. So they ended up with only one super soldier and decided to use him for propaganda.
Marvel used to have a WW2 comic strip "Sgt. Fury And His Howling Commandos" These sidekicks of Captain America are essentially them, with Bucky instead of Sgt.Fury( who became Nick Fury, agent of Shield, then its director.
one of the crazy things about Hitler was he indeed did experiment with all sorts of bizarre stuff, and was rumored to be pretty superstitious, so it's not particularly unbelievable that he would've had scientists testing all sorts of weaponry... I remember watching a special on these cannons he dumped money into that just fired concentrated bursts of air... his hope was they would have invisible ammunition that was infinite that he could drop planes out of the sky with, but the cannons didn't pan out, like a lot of the experimental stuff he tried... Hellboy is another popular comic character whose origin is tied to Nazis messing with supernatural stuff as well
makes sense they’d make a parallel to this bc i do recall hearing he was always trying experiments on whoever and whatever to make the army stronger, honestly so scary!
oh real quick about the grenade thing... a lot of times unless you caught it mid-air and immediately threw it you wouldn't really have time to pick it up, especially if the enemy had "cooked" it and let the fuse run a little before he threw it, so it was not unheard of for soldiers in a trench to throw themselves onto the grenade to save the soldiers standing nearby, and if you tried to pick it up it'd probably just blow up in your hand and get everybody... but totally agree, if you think you actually have the time and space to throw it, that's the better option
Yea he refused to attack the Vatican bc he was scared that God would come after him,so very superstitious.stupid guy he is worried that God would get him for attacking the Vatican but not worried about killing 6 million of God's chosen people??must be fun to be that insane.
I ALWAYS give thanks to the editors that catch that "Red Skull" high tech pistol blast flash on his face when he's executing a minion. That is a repeated and iconic frame from the comics. MMMmmmmmWHA!
It wasn't necessarily propaganda it was a way for the government to sell war bonds which actually paid for the war,the government couldn't pay for the entire war so they sold war bonds that you could cash in after the war for extra money.
No the Tesseract has nothing to do or nothing in common with Tony's arc reactor. For now just remember the name Tesseract and that its origin is unknown but is indeed mystical/magical for sure. And don't forget about Bucky as well. Cap is a super soldier, he is very strong, fast, ect as compared to a normal person. This is the reason he was able to stay frozen in ice for 70 years and not die or age(just like we freeze and preserve our food in the fridge).
Again on the gernade - where could Steve have safely thrown it? They were in the middle of the camp - no time to look around and assess the layout or maybe he was aware and knew there qas no safe area. Again it was a test, notice Agent Carter didn't move but was standing by watching.
The whole point for the Super Soldier Program was to help the U.S Army win the war. The Doctor who created the serum was the only one who knew how to create such a serum.

Soldiers have won the Medal of Honor solely for throwing themselves on grenades to save the lives of those around them.
yeah that was impressive, that choice is why he’s our captain!

I love the scene with the flag. The whole reason Steve was chosen is because he didnt have physical strength, so he has respect, compassion and intelligence. No point making a tough grunt stronger, its best to give the smart guy power cause then hes the best of both
dang right! if they gave it to that other dude he’d prob be like thor!
@@Etereysby hulk they meant the one before the incredible hulk

Evans can play BOTH Steve and Johnny in the MCU if Eddie Murphy and the Madea guy can play multiple characters in the same movie.

Speaking of Connections, here's one that some people tend to miss...remember Blonsky in "The Incredible Hulk?" That Serum they were using to Enhance him was one of their attempts at recreating Captain America: after one dose, Blonsky could Run Faster and Jump Higher just like Cap!
yes! wow! they are just way off, it’s bc they couldn’t recreate the serum right?
So far, best origin story for me is thor. Because his character went through a whole character arc in his first film.. Tony stark did improve and change in his morals. But he's still egotistical and arrogant
yes we like thors a lot too! now that we have seen the avengers, we look at the hulk differently too! so honestly they are all good!
It's hilarious that this generation cannot understand the scene where Steve jumps on a grenade.....I love you guys, too cute
While it's not his most famous role, I'd say his best, most commanding role is in "V for Vendetta," a DC Comics movie.
yes we seen this! we like this technique! it’s very cool!
“I had a date.”
cut to black
One of my top ten movie endings.
i know! it broke our heart!
In Greek mythology a Hydra is like a five-headed dragon. You cut one head off two grow back
wow never knew that!!
"What if that landed in someone's drink like an ice cube"

That means anyone else only has to worry about the remaining 20% or less, which is going out in all directions so it is 80% less effective against someone who is right by him, and far less likely to significantly injure anyone more than 5 feet from him,
25:00-26:10 The super soldier process was supposed to be to create a team of super soldiers, Steve was supposed to be the first of many, but when the scientist who could create the formula was killed, they couldn't make more.
Second, for reasons I expressed a few hours ago in a comment on that reaction, I don't believe it to have been Captain America's Shield (As we find at the opening of this movie, it was in the ice with Captain America since the 1940s and wasn't unearthed until after the events of Iron Man I.)
HYDRA came to hold so much power by working within the Nazi Party of Germany, with the Chancellor Adolf Hitler.

@@TheOctobersReact no they discover a piece of vibranium meteor and yes I said meteor so it's from space so they discovered it.

Steve and Bucky are best friends since childhood.
Bruce Banner wasnt born yet so there would be no Hulk.

Crazy how Steve has and worked with both Stark men. By "a few years", Howard meant at least 70 since we still haven't gotten there yet lol. yeah i agree and yes that is crazy
Both Steve, and Bucky are friends, but they are more like brothers.

The movie does a pretty good job taking all of that character lore and making a cohesive story out of it.
yeah i like it, i think we needed that in the 1940s!

Captain America / Steve Rogers, probably my favorite character in all of films😍🙌
CAN'T wait for you guys to get to the " Winter Soldier" movie. You will get to like Steve even more. This movie is 1 of my favorites too.
cant wait for u guys to find out what the tesseract really is :]
you know we have just seen the avengers and it didn’t really even explain the complete magnitude of that thing so maybe during editing we will find out!
@@TheOctobersReact dont worry about it so soon
without spoiling it i will just say its one of the important things of Infinity Saga
also technically the Avengers movie has shown 2 of those things see if u can guess what it is 👀
ahhhhh hmmm. i know for sure it summons things from space ! maybe it also summons thor and loki? maybe i’m so wrong lol
@@xenoviousim seeing very important words that did not need to be said 😂😂😂
@@jxy8938 u mean infinity? they alrdy know this part of mcu is the saga at the start of their reactions lol
Without context is fine 😶
14:07...This was awesome. Right from the start, in a movie set in the 1940s, you have a man called Johann Schmidt who speaks with a German accent and wears a Nazi uniform but only half way through said movie do you think the villains might be German? Wunderbar, absolut wunderbar! (As Schmidt might say) 😊😊😊
it was editing we knew that sorry didn’t realize it’d look so silly
@@TheOctobersReact No worries guys, we've all done it 😳
Captain America is, essentially, a "peak human". He has as much strength, stamina, agility and so on as a human could possibly have (and slightly more in some cases).
we like him!
Captain America is peak human in the comics but stronger in the MCU. In the movie universe he's legit superhuman.
So they ended up with only one super soldier and decided to use him for propaganda.
i see. makes sense
Marvel used to have a WW2 comic strip "Sgt. Fury And His Howling Commandos" These sidekicks of Captain America are essentially them, with Bucky instead of Sgt.Fury( who became Nick Fury, agent of Shield, then its director.
oh wow he was Sgt Fury? i hope we get to learn more about his origin too!
You said they shooting grandma, Memaw probably has been an agent for years. Taking a bullet comes for the job.
lol right
one of the crazy things about Hitler was he indeed did experiment with all sorts of bizarre stuff, and was rumored to be pretty superstitious, so it's not particularly unbelievable that he would've had scientists testing all sorts of weaponry...
@@TheOctobersReact yea, nazis are terrifying! I guess that's why they make such good comic book villains
MMMmmmmmWHA!
it’s crazy scary lol
This movie is really good, cant wait to see the rest of the MCU series. Love the content
The one you see in there is Nala. But the other two are Mushu and Pumba! they say hello!
@@TheOctobersReact Awww great names, and from some great childhood movies.

Again on the gernade - where could Steve have safely thrown it? They were in the middle of the camp - no time to look around and assess the layout or maybe he was aware and knew there qas no safe area. Again it was a test, notice Agent Carter didn't move but was standing by watching.
you’re right
I CANNOT WAIT FOR SCREAM 2!!
it’s coming
The whole point for the Super Soldier Program was to help the U.S Army win the war. The Doctor who created the serum was the only one who knew how to create such a serum.
yes and the Hulk is the one who is tested in recent times? right?
@@TheOctobersReact no banner was just exposed to a modified form of gamma radiation, which should have killed him, it was the guy that became the Abomination to fight the hulk at the end. He used the Serum that was put on ice in a storage unit around the time Cap disappeared in the ice.
Oh damn I thought the serum was also given to hulk but because of external gamma radiation (and also Bruce having a natural trait of being angry) these things would become amplified and turn him into what he is
@@jxy8938 no remember what Coulson said to Steve when they first meet in the SHIELD Jet, he was trying to make his own version of the Super Soldier Serum but he made a Gamma Version of it because he thought Gamma Radiation was a key component within the original serum (even thou it is not the Classic Origin of how he became the Hulk but w.e)
