Looks similar to my Compact 2112.
This is a fantastic video. Thank you for sharing this!
Glad I could help! Thank you for the kind words 💙
@@IntellitechStudios well, I screwed up my brush/floor height selector. Any idea how to get this aligned?
A clip fell down from the nob on mine and I couldn’t pure it back
did you fix it? i have the same issue, a small metal clip only says "A" on it
if its a small shiny piece of metal., with a prong bent in on one side, it slides down in the belt well on a black plastic piece coming off the house of the vacuum. Serves as a kind of guard for the belt.
U don’t need it
68c7 Bissll need a diagram to put it all back together
Looking good man

Hi, excellent video! However, I was trying to fix mine and then this metal clip marked A fell out, now I have no idea where it goes. I can tell it’s some kind of guide for the belt from other comments below. Would you be able to tell how to put it back in or where it’s supposed to sit exactly?
Same, mine too. Unsure where it goes. Been searching for an hour already through Google, manuals, and 'exploded views' and can't find it.
@Ahmed Salehin Hey, so after looking through the comments and my own for another few minutes, I figured it out. There's a vertical plastic outcropping coming from the basically outer edge of the plastic housing. It's perpendicular and part of the belt well housing, close to the steel post at the back end of the belt. If it's oriented properly, it should slide right on there. The belt can/will rub up against it, which is why it's there as otherwise the belt would eat the plastic pretty quickly. Hopefully that helps!
Worked like a charm. Thank you!
I know I never want to buy a Bissell vacuum again
I took mine apart to clean and afterwards I found a 1 and 1/4" metal clip and I don't know where it goes. Any idea? BTW great video, helped alot. thanks
I have the same problem! Did you ever figure it out?
@@scottfromoahu2896 Bissel said, the part that came off is located near the belt of your machine when you remove the access plate of it. I concluded that Its a guide for the belt so the plastic doesn't wear it down. In other words, they should make all metal parts and products would hold up longer but that's not their tactic. To conserve on costs, they use plastic and products break down after the warranty in hopes you will buy a new one. My advice, buy a better brand. Some vacs have a 5 year warranty. thanks
@@donnarehrig5808 I have a Dyson, a roomba, and a neato too. My wife likes this Bissell too.
I fix vacuums!
I have medium-low carpet if my carpet is lightly dirty I use the medium setting if it is very dirty I use the low setting.
Thank you for your video. I have a Bissell powerforce helix Model 2191U. Your video was quite helpful in cleaning the vacuum. But I'm having a bit of an issue putting the motor aligned up. Could you please help?
So i have the 1790 Bissell Power Force Helix Turbo Rewind/ Cord Rewind and my engine is making a rough grinding noise and i only hear it when i shut it OFF. What can it be and can you make a video of the break down process to taking the cover off to get to the motor?
Why is it that my brush doesn't spin anymore, it just seized up
Does the brush spin freely if you spin it by hand?
@@IntellitechStudios No, it's locked up.
Where's the fuse in these? Mine just stopped turning on all if a sudden? Can the fuse be replaced?
No, there's no dedicated fuse, it's built into the motor
Hi
What about the 1700U bissell powerforce helix one the back porch you first showed in episode 5 the one that wouldn't turn on? Do you still have that one? If you do, have you had a chance to look at it yet?
Motor is dead in it, it’s being used for parts
Intellitech Studios oh okay
Newer Models = Trash Older Models, pickup is better
Remove that carpet
No! I like this carpet
I don't like the Kenmore or the Panasonic vacuum suction release valves because they open up even if you're using the crevice tool the bissell ones don't do that.
