Finding this video saved me! Thanks
More cleaning videos!!!!
DUDE THANK YOU. For the life of me there are no easy to find videos about the "tiny bissell filter not big one" but you have saved me.
I have the same model you have and I am trying to get into the post motor filter also and can not figure out how to remove the bottom part of the filter cabinet that has the logo of bissell coming up almost to the top of the lid. There is not release button and I even tried pulling the part off with the logo to release the bottom from the top and it will not budge. There are no screws to hold it on that I see. Would you please make a video of how you opened up the post motor housing so I can clean my filters. I got all the other ones, its just that one I can not get into.
UPDATE: I kept looking and found out there are screws in back that need to come out. You didn't say that in the video that I remember. Sorry if you did.
I needed this. I been doing it all wrong. I want to clean mines. Because, one thing I learned. It is a good vacuum cleaner. It just gets very bad when not clean out after awhile.
ur a life saver my guy thanks :D
OMG thank you for your video!!! LIFE SAVER!! I totally took mine apart it was disgusting but so glad I did. I wasn't sure if I was gonna remember how to put it back together (Jill of all trades=single mom) I almost ordered a new 1 but now with this video I will have no problem 🤞THAAANKS
Currently in the process of cleaning my bissell, and was just browsing through different vids for tips. I must say, I had to comment because of your professed love of persil. That is my favorite laundry soap
as well 💙
I also recommend doing this if ur vacuum is not sucking up so well once u clean it inside out it’s good as new thank you for this help I was doing this step by step
My brush isn't rolling freely. It's hard to turn. Any suggestion?
Thank you for this! I just took mine apart completely to clean it and this was so helpful!
I want to thank you!!! 😊 I was so lost on cleaning and this video helped me take apart and put it back together ❤
Helpful, informative!
ive been having trouble this is a good video i know what i did wrong now.. really minor need to take it apart and put it back together again
Honestly glad this video exist my ? To u is i have suction on the vacuum and its cleaned but not the motor i wonder if i took and blew it out if it would even help bc my belt still works but my brush Wont spin and I canbot figure out why it wont spin
So the vacuum has suction but the motor won't spin the brushroll?
I need you to start the video from beginning to ending of taking it apart. Please and thank you 13:58 July 23,2023
I often wonder if it would have been possible to swap the 8 amp motor with a 10 amp or possibly an 12 amp motor. Given the design of the 1700 series it would be difficult unless the original 12 or 10 amp motor of the original powerforce is identical as far as motors go.
If i remember correctly, the 8 amp motors are smaller in size, so i don't think that would work. But it would be interesting to try for sure
I can't figure out how you got the motor cover thingy off. I removed the screw and it's stuck in place. Do I keep trying to pry it off with a flathead?
No, once you remove all the screws, it should easily come off. If Not, there's more screws to remove on the back and front
Was there a short metal piece on your vacuum? As I was putting it back together it fell from the main body. It has one jagged edge so I want to avoid any dangers if it spins loose
Thanks!
(I like Persil, too)
There shouldn't be any metal on it, it's all plastic
Mine has like a piece of wrapper plastic stuck inside making it 50 times more loud noise. I was hopping to see that but you didn't disassemble that part.
What part are you referring to?
I followed this but after putting the vacuum back together the spinning brush at the bottom won't spin. Would you know why?
Make sure the belt isn't jammed and that the brush isn't jammed. Can you turn the brush with the vacuum off?
@@IntellitechStudios the belt is looking good, its just the 'wheel' part of the brush. It feels a lot harder than it should to get it to turn
If you're referring to the height adjustment, try oiling the wheels.
So is that filter on to side of container washed with water or is it not reusable??
It's washable. Just make sure it's dry of course.
I unscrewed all 6 Screws it still will not come out what do I have to do next ?
What won't come out?
Intellitech Studios I’m trying to disassemble and clean the vacuum it is not working tried plugging it in everywhere it seems as if something isn’t working what are some trouble shooting methods of the power will not turn on?
What’d u use to clean the filter ?
Just warm water and soap. Either hand soap or laundry soap works fine
Intellitech Studios thank youuu(:
Thank you so much!!!!!! For this video. 💙✨
Help I took mine apart and there this belt piece I totally forgot where it goes I am over here stuckkkkkkk wtf do I do with this belt helpppp my carpet dirtyyyyyyyy
Sorry I pre wrote this you fucking rock man 5;43 this what I needed I love you may you be blessed for life
I took mine down to the motor to clean. I have 2 screws that are shorter that the rest and 2 screws that are longer(I know these go on the handle) where do the 2 shorter screws go
They may be the ones that hold the lower hose in place on the back, otherwise I can't be sure without it being in front of me. Just check every screw hole until you find the empty spots
I need help
What do you need help with?
@@IntellitechStudios my vacuum is all messed up the brush is dentied and the inside. Please is there a way to fix it I don't wanna disappointed my family
@@germangonzalez805 it's dented? Have you made sure the brushroll is installed correctly?
@@IntellitechStudios yes and yes
Having problem with the adjustment wheels dangling too low. It grabs the carpet. Very difficult to push forward. Any suggestions?
