I’m convinced there’s no better way to start a weekend than with a satisfying detail transformation 😌
Do me a favour and hit that LIKE button and SUBSCRIBE if you haven’t yet! Have a great weekend!
The transformation looks incredible and excellent. Great job! 😊❤
Have a great weekend Mitch!!! You're the best! 💜
It's so satisfying to watch your video. However one thing I would like to share with you, when you are doing for other reaction videos it would have been so great if you cover the vehicle and let the customers reveal themselves. That would have been hilarious reaction. Anyways it's just my opinion and no offense.
Thank you ❤
Has there been a vehicle you absolutely refused to detail because it was so bad?
Did you ever say no to somebody? If yes what was the reason?
Actual food is being transported in this vehicle? Yeah, no thanks!
Another awesome detail!!!
I agree. I don't want catering from a vehicle that a dog pees in. Messy is one thing but this is another level.
Came here to say the same thing 🫣🤢
Why does my burger smell like urine?
next time you order your food delivered check the interior of the delivery car, i garantee they all look like that, employees are not paid enough to spend time cleaning the car
If you can't even keep your car a little clean, how dirty does it look in the kitchen?
Dear Sir.
I am 78 years old.
I am from South-Africa.
I love you washing those dirty cars......Sometimes I wish I could just take my 97 VW Golf for you to clean it your way.
Keep it up...I try never to mis one of your cleaning cars.
Finally, not an extremely dirty car, but still filthy. I’m not really sure if i would eat their food if the car looked like that. I would definitely deny an offer. Those seats came out spectacular and watching the side of the seat get cleaned was very enjoyable. Everyone enjoy yourself and have a nice weekend!
Botdogs, Have an awesome weekend! 👍
Have a great weekend Botdog!! Good to see you here.
@@cynthiahopkins7090 thank you
@@joelbuchanan471 thanks
Your acting like she had the food out on the seats most likely she had everything in a bag
Friday's are never complete without a new Detail Geek video. Love it.
Glad you like them!
Catering business... Who'd eat their food!!?
Cat hair showed up in food from a caterer for a work meeting. First occurrence was last occurrence. Ewww
You don't like a little dog pee in your food?.... that's weird
I think after seeing this video any future catering that I need, I am going to make sure they do not carry critters in their vehicle as well.
Probably has poor sanitation in their kitchen, too. Yuck.
Ppl n 🇨🇦 😂
I had a public facing job, where the public were in my vehicle. The vehicle was kept spotless (3 washes in one day once in winter) I also had a dog. The dog had a separate vehicle. I couldn't really afford it at the time, but I had standards to maintain.
You are my people. I keep a detailing brush next to me and at stop lights, I dust the console. Always beautiful.
I keep all my cars spotless to the point they could be considered actual show cars for their age
The dog drove his own car?
Looks great now but, transporting a dog in the same vehicle as your food business...🤢🤮
RIGHT.. ALL I CAN THINK IS THE DOG TASTING THE SPOONS & EATING OUT THE BOWLS....
@@dequanp1979So you not only think they do catering deliveries with the dog in the car, you also think they don't package any of the food?
🤢🤢🤢NO! Could you imagine “ my fettuccine has a hint of ammonia, OPE! and that’s not parm, it’s pet dander”😅
Seriously, this is disturbing news.
I used to own a cleaning business (thankfully retired now!). After watching your vids, I bought a couple of detail brushes and a couple of small paint brushes from a local dollar store. I wish I would have had these when I had the biz! I've never cleaned windows as well as with the brushes, microfibre specialty cloths (for glass, but they're great on stainless steel and anything that's supposed to be shiny!). I stopped using Windex and other commercially sold window cleaners, and make my own with water (500 mls), vinegar (125 mls), and about 5 mls of dishwashing liquid. My car and house windows absolutely sparkle with NO nasty chemicals. Thanks again for the detail brush tip!
Do food service vehicles not need a health inspection the way stores do??
Create the business, operate for 6 months, close it & start again under a new name... With the state of the economy, I'm guessing a lot of shady side gigs going on that inspections can't catch.
The business is located in Saskatchewan, Canada. They may not have the same health laws that the US does.
Always a great transformation! If I knew the person that was catering for me had a car like this I would never have them cater for me again.
Carpet lined wheel wells are as bad of an idea as carpeted bathrooms. I'm right there with you man.
Love the videos, love the channel, thank you for all you do. Amazing job as always!
I wish I could have you detail my car!
You performed another miracle today, this car looks so much better! I love the initial pressure wash, that one step just changes the appearance so much. Can’t believe the water pour today, it didn’t seem that dirty inside but black interiors hide a multitude of sins. Thanks for sharing this transformation Mitch!
I was gobsmacked by that water colour! 😳 Never know how dirty your vehicle gets until you detail it!
I am surprised that you didn't blur out the name of the catering business. Or the owner didn't want the name of the business blurred out. Because if I was thinking about using that business and I saw the disgusting state of that car and the filth in it, I would 100% think twice about using that business. Especially since the business is dealing with food. Makes me wonder if the owner sees this and isn't happy, if they might try to take legal action.
My literal thoughts exactly. This can kill a small business.
That's what I was wondering. Hopefully, the owner didn't want the name blurred out (for Mitch's sake.) Because if I lived in the area, I definitely wouldn't use that business, not to mention tell others not to use them.
I don't think most of the people commenting have any idea what commercial kitchens and equipment usually look like
@@davidmollard9832 They probably don't tbh but it's also not publicized like this. Just like Kitchen Nightmares old episodes. You'd see first hand how horrible their kitchen and food storage was. I'm sure the lady had everything sealed and packaged properly and it's not causing any actual issues but I think its just the connotation that their food is delivered in a vehicle that nasty with animal urine spilled in it
Yes and maybe they transport the food in the boot, where it’s not where the pee was. But I agree, it’s still a bit nasty in the end 😕
Love the videos! I apologise if this has been asked before, but have you ever considered doing a video or two without the music and just leaving in the sounds of you working and of course your commentary? It would be so relaxing to watch before bed! Either way, great stuff as always 😊
He has another channel that he does that with. I don't know the name
@@PrimalJosh oh great thanks! I'll have a look for it 😄
Edit: couldn't find anything like that. I guess I'll look elsewhere 🥲
If i had a catering order and it showed up in that dirty shitbox, i would just say forget it.
Imagine knowing your food came in this car.
Wait, it's a catering car full of dog pee, that is not even right!!!! And you showed the business name and number, who on earth would do business with them!!! If their car looks like this, imagine what the kitchen is like, holy cow.
Thats exactly what I was thinking. 🤢 I wonder if they have lost any business since this video was posted?
The business is thankfully located in Saskatchewan, Canada and not the US.
Another Friday with Mitch and another disaster car.Awesome transformation
If you would have told me 46 years ago that you will retire and spend most of your time watching people mow lawns, groom dogs, detail cars, pressure wash driveways and etc. I’d have said yeah right.🤔🤷🏼♂️♥️👍🏼
OMG, l retired last November and that's what I have been doing.
I’m not retired, but I’m 41 and this is what I do with my spare time😂
Go watch Idiocracy 2006 movie
It’s called a planned Dystopia
This is not a good thing
Better than watching the news, and hating your neighbors that disagree.
You need to expand your horizons to pimple popping, ear wax removal and tonsil stones videos!😂😂
I'm watching this sitting at my desk at work (on my phone). Shhhh, don't tell my supervisor 🤣
Hello. This is your supervisor. Please put your phone away now.
@@GD15555 nah im watching this at school
I just told him, he was not happy.
@jordiklavers9491 That was you! 😡
As always... "Incredibles job" you have a great weekend as well!! ❤
When you are vacuuming the carpets, I love when you tell us the quality of the carpet that is being detailed. Can you make that a regular thing in your videos? Thank you!!
Thanks for posting, Mitch! Have a great weekend!
Yike! I have a 2018 Escape and I hate the carpet wheel liners too. Snow and ice build up until the wheel well is full and interferes with turning. I see what they were going for with sound deadening, but some other solutionis needed.
Oh, is THAT what that insanity is for? I couldn't get my head around it. Made about as much sense as making chili in a wedding dress.
It's nice seeing a car cleaned that doesn't have torn seats or paint missing, makes for an extra safisfying transformation in some ways. Looks brand new :)
Looks fantastic! You did a great job especially with the carpets as they were so tricky to clean 😊
Honestly love these videos. It's a soothing experience while getting good knowledge on how to maintain and detail my car.
Wow! Incredible. Just amazing. Well done sir. I can see the hard work you are putting into these cars, but it pays off and the transformations are spectacular. Im happy to see you found a career where you can see the fruits of your labor so distinctly. Im sure it gives great pleasure to work at projects that can show off the work put into them so well.
Business ruined for sure! Transporting food on a vehicle covered in hazmat? I’ll pass
The vehicle looked so beautiful at the end. My very first car was a similar blue colour. Eleven hours of work for one vehicle shows your dedication to cleaning each car to a like new condition. I once spoke to a man about detailing my car and he said it usually takes about two hours. Now I plan to shop around and ask questions about what their detailing service includes, such as removing the front seats etc… . Thank you for showing us how it should be done.
Man I love these videos. I found them the other day and started watching one. I didn’t even finish the video but paused it half way through, went to the store and got a bunch of cleaning wipes before I came back home and watched the rest of the video 😂. I since have detailed the crap out of the inside of my truck. I drive a Ram 1500… and now it’s not like factory immaculate but it’s very very clean inside. I didn’t take out the seats but I vacuumed under them as much as I could reach with my shop vac. Most surfaces inside you could rub a damp cloth against and not pick up even a smudge, including the floor boards, including the bottom of the cup holders and door pockets… etc. I went everywhere I could even reach with cleaning wipes. Made me go clean freak mode on my truck!!! Thanks 😂😂😂
This video is worth being late for work on Fridays lol.
I must say, the background music on this video is way way way better than your previous videos
Glad you enjoyed it!
I agree , used be that screeching chinese or Japanese yelping
@@AlanMerritt-n9q lmaoooo bye. I was not expecting that comparison
This one really does look new! Nice to see a car with just "use" inside, and not laziness or lack of care making it gross!
Dog pee in a car just left to dry, is laziness & lack of care. 🤢
Hey Mitch,
The car looks good and is ready for more catering jobs.
As Always Amazing!!!❤❤❤
This content is amazing! I can't stop watching!
I just found this channel and it made me really happy since I have always loved to clean cars. Started with my father's old 17M Taunus when I was a child and when I was a teenager I did it as my own little business in the neighbourhood. 😅❤
It is something about the smell of a clean car that is a mix of "satisfactory and victory". 😊
I once cleaned "down" a car that the owner was going to sell but after the cleaning he decided to keep it. 😂
I will check out the website for products, thank you for this channel!! 🎉🎉
Upholstery and vinyl are the winner this week ! Yay for cleaning. I deep cleaned my own den today so I got a double dose of clean and orderly to start my weekend. So good.
Another job well done, Mitch! That water pour was beyond gross. Those cheap carpets are such a pain in the.... May not be possible to be perfect every time, but you get it as close as you can. And that's the true mark of a great detailer. Nice job!
AMAZING! WHERE ARE YOU LOCATED?
Nasty all around but the transformation is something else! Well done Mitch.
Watching Detail Geek is so entertaining i love it!
Another great detail! I always love it when you vacuum the seats and seeing the dirty water go through. I'm big into the before and after elements. Greetings from Idaho!
If the owner gets the center console reupholstered, they'd have a brand new interior! Amazing and meticulous work, as always. 👏🏼👏🏼
Had an awful night of bad sleep. Woke up to Mitch posting another car cleaning miracle. Day...better.
Ford owner here. I hear you completely on the carpet being so difficult to vacuum. I’ve had some success by agitating the carpet with a micro fibre cloth before vacuum. Drill brushes etc just seem to send dirt further into the fibres
Yeah! Guitar outro after an amazing clean! The way you get doors clean is so very satisfying!👍❤️
Hey Detail Geek, I love seeing your details all the time!! I can't wait to see more videos every week! I definitely love seeing the before and after shots of the details all the time! ❤❤❤
I've said it before, and I'll say it again - No one captures before & after shots like you do. Great format!
Did you say Catering business? I'd worry what the place look likes where the food is prepared, if the state of the car is anything to go by. 🥴
Amazing so it's been a long time since I watched your videos . Congratulations on the detail geek cleaning line.
You condense 11 hours down to 23 minutes to produce these satisfying transformations. Makes me feel like if I have the right tools, I can do all this myself to my own car.
I love that you went back to keeping the original video sound. Makes it so much more satisfying! Also, I could NOT believe how nasty that water pour was!
I'm always so excited about a new video on Fridays 😊🎉 great job, Mitch!! Very satisfying 😌
Wow, great job! Looking at how filthy the car interior was and knowing they were in the catering service, makes me wonder how hygienic their food preparation is.
Awesome job as always Mitch. It never ceases to amaze me at the transformations you make happen. Have a great weekend. By the way just curious when will there be new Yard Geek videos? Love your channel there as well. Keep up the good work
Ya this video gave me the motivation to vacuum my car. My fur baby's white hair loves to cling to my car's black interior. The velcro carpet struggle is real lol.
as always great job Mitch ... awesome result ....
Friday’s are the best day of the week watching the Detail Geek
Thank you for showing how you cleaned the under bits of the seats. I’m not sure if that was due to my comment from a couple weeks ago, but if it was, I really appreciate my thoughts being taken into consideration
i dont know why but after watching your vids i feel "dirty" yet satisfied. well dirty because it felt like i was the one cleaning those filthy cars i just imagine all the dirt and mud splasing on me and the SMELL yet satisfied because all the efforts really paid
Compressed air is my best friend.
I personally start with the rear cargo area/trunk of most cars/suvs and the rear cab of trucks. Vacuuming the floor as much as possible beforehand, I use an air gun in one hand and the vacuum in my other hand to clear out as much embedded debris/pet hair as possible.
It can be quite tedious and time-consuming, especially on those super rough ones. However, in my experience, this not only makes for much easier stain/general filth removal using chemicals, it can also clear what was once possibly embedded dirt/sand/etc. disguised as a stain.
This can also help not put as much debris into your carpet extractor. That's one of the best parts of your videos though in my opinion, seeing the gunk flop out at the end of the bucket dump. 😬
My typical order:
-Vacuum and blow out carpets, seats, plastics
-Headliner, Seats, Floor stain/filth removal
-Clean plastics
-Clean interior glass
-Exterior
This can change depending on certain needs and soil levels. As you already know, no detail is ever the same.
To remove embedded pet hair from the super short/cheap carpets or any carpets in general, put the air gun right up to the hair(s) and blow while moving the gun in the direction the hair is sticking out. Repeat and possibly use slight downward force until it pops it.
Highly recommend using eye and breathing protection while doing this. Possibly ear protection as well.
It's also great for floor mats. In some of my endeavors, I've noticed that sometimes no matter how much I scrubbed and power washed some floor mats, they would still have filth when I used an air gun to blow dry them after hang drying.
Love watching your videos and hope all is going well for you.
No more catering for me. Cook at home. ❤
I never got catering before and after seeing this video I won’t get it, Ever!
Wait until you see what happens in restaurant's kitchens (legal or not)... It's indeed a good idea to cook at home If only becomes it's cheaper & I've rarely if ever heard about food poisoning from home.
@@mystisith3984 oh believe me I know all to well what happens is restaurants kitchens, I worked in them for 3 years
Disgusting!
Great job as always geek thx for the videos
Love to see this, Mitch. The word "Perfection" in the dictionary has a photo of you and a link to your UA-cam channel 🙂
Beautiful work! The music for this video reminds me of Thriller.
It’s nice to see a car that is actually still used by someone. I hate the cars when you know it’s just going to the wreckers.
Hello there Detail Geek. It is always so good to see you. Thanks for everything you do. Your hard work and dedication is very outstanding 👍💪
I'm not a big Ford fan, but you got this suv looking clean and proper and looking like new. Great job Mitch.
I almost missed this video, but luckily I have notifications turned on!
I’m loving the new style of background music
My daughter has a 2018 Escape and I can attest to the quality of carpet; absolute garbage. Glad to know that you have limitations regarding that quality of carpet too. Nice work.
Nicely done and the 🎸 riffs at the end, I'm here for it 😍🎶
Another excellent transformation, love your channel.
Probably should have blurred the company’s name if you were going to show us how gross their vehicle is. They’re not gonna be happy after reading these comments.
I’m sure if the business owner cared, they would have told Mitch to blur the name out. They probably saw it as free advertising.
Im writing them a bad review for how disgusting the car is
If they were at all bothered they’d have never have given him the car is my guess
What a fabulous job! That car looked brand new! Catering food 😮 ! Love those tunes! Love your videos too! 👍👍👍
I agree that the Ford carpet can be difficult to vacuum completely. I have an F150 and an Escape. I use a tape lint roller or just some duct tape around a brush to get everything out of the carpet. It works wonders.
Literally made it looks brand new, good job 👍
Another amazing job, DG! Thanks! Nice riff btw!
Dude!! All ur current detail cars are so much challenging, but u make them look so clean and neat like giving second life to such cars. But seeing it's a catering vehicle i would definitely loose my appetite and stick to liquids 😂😂😂😂
hey Mitch I was just wandering when will you do another yard geek video love the videos and keep up the great work
I've noticed not too many of your cars have salt stains in them. Great video by the way, came out really well!
I have some advice for you that I learned by myself. You mentioned that Fords carpet is bad. I would use that green drill brush along with you vacuuming. I’ve been doing it to my car and it gets all of those microscopic dirt particles out.
Nice work. I like the new music a lot.
Hello, I really enjoy your videos, it's so satisfying to see a complete transformation from filth to cleanliness. You're the expert on these matters, yet I wanted to recommend Clorox color-safe bleach for difficult stains. In one of your previous videos (the car polluted with cigarettes), I saw how difficult the stains were to remove, and I immediately thought of this product, it works wonders!
Love your videos Mitch, I’m excited for the next ones ❤
Mitch + guitar ❤❤ great detail job as always!
Health and safety of the food was out the window amazing transformation as always
Hey Mitch, have you thought about having Detail Geek decals made to add to your lineup of products for purchase also? That would be cool.
Like always, a very good job! I really enjoy your content, keep up the great job ✌🏻
This escape looks so much better Mitch great job as always

Customer reactions would be awesome to see !!!!
Good Friday morning detail geek the car looks fantastic nice job DG ❤
Mitch wish I didnt live so far away I am in the lower 48 Long Island N.Y, would luv to have you detail my car even though its not as filthy as the ones you do! keep up the great work your awesome man!!!
I wish you were here in California so you can do my car, I just love the way you detail the cars❤
Nicely done, Mitch. 😎🔨🤘🏻 Huge transformation.
I get that managing your own business is hard and time consuming, but please tell me this car wasn't used in her catering business??
