A lot of folks still don’t get how impressive Ronnie’s 800 lb deadlift & squat were. At that age (even equipped) moving that amount of weight with that little body fat…..still crazy to watch.
The deadlift isn't that impressive for a 300 pound bodywheight man. It's just a very good one, period. A ton of a lot lighter powerlifters can do that. The squat wasn't even deep.

I'm 41, started training at 14 no long breaks. Still lifting with no limitations, all a mindset and never stopping
Dam i gotta get a mindset like that. Good on you brother
@@ganymede6535 weightlifting and training becomes part of your being, part of your identity and you crave being in the gym and lifting because it feels good to you, like home, like your happy place. i started at 16 and am 30 now and there has been no point in my life that i have stoppped in the gym, even during covid i was at home with dumbells training. because any day ive had to miss the gym (like emergencies or being actually sick) i just dont feel right
i think when that mindset clicks for you its there for life and doesnt feel challenging to stay there
Started at 21 at 150lbs and a 100lbs deadlift - at 26 I had to stop for 7 years due to a blood illness. Started again and at 37 got to a 622 deadlift no belt or straps. Now I'm 47, at 242lbs and just got back from the gym , doing shoulder dumbbell press with the 110's x 8 - dont quit
Just David Goggins it and everything will be ok 😂
@@steveb6718 Coming into university and during my semi-pro days I was 180 squatting over 400 and deadlifting about the same. Now I am over 250 pounds because food is delicious. Time to get back to the gym!
Two of the most genuine men that have ever been in the business!
This video is humility at its finest!🤩🤩🤩
imagine working out in the same gym as these 2 goats, this is one of the most insane combination of athletes there can be
Ronnie is a legend the defenition of not letting anyone train harder and more than you. Bless him, the motivation he gives saves lifes
If it was Prime Ronnie and shaw working out together.. it would have been monstrous
Out of all the collabs with ronnie I saw, ronnie was by far the most relaxed and talkative here. Bryan is a really chill guy and they have great chemistry.
I honestly thinking the saddest thing Ronnie must see if the size he went from to what he is now and nothing he could do to stop it. Still an absolute legend!
If you live long enough you will always be smaller or less than your peak. But the goal is to push yourself and see what you can achieve 💪
@@OrbPonderertrue dat
@@OrbPonderer Yep, but everyone experiences it new to themselves, so it's always a shock when it happens to you. We're all young in our minds.
Yeah, but Ronnie still goes hard. That's just what he does.
@@MdoubleHBxxx animal eating what?💀Tf do you mean by that? Imagine whishing on people's death when they have done nothing bad to you and to other people to deserve it.
Been waiting for this FOR YEARS! Training with Ronnie "Lightweight" Coleman, that's when you know you've made it...
“What are you going to do now?” Let’s see you back on the armwrestling table. Devon needs a challenge 💪
YES!!!!!!
Always enjoy watching your training sessions with different people. It’s good stuff! Keeps me motivated!
8:34 And Brian's return to Strongman begins. CAN YOU IMAGINE Arnold's next year if he did. Thor, Licis, Mateuzs, Tom, Shaw
As I get older I have had to change my lifting routine due to injuries. Seeing Ronnie with his struggles breaks my heart. He was always so fun to watch. Take care of your bodies because time catches everyone.
He's pushing 60 and suffers from a severe spinal injury, but still has a better body than most men half his age.
Ronnies love for it is unreal he even watches everyone of Brian’s reps and such a cool guy
Ronnie is...out of this world!
Yeahhhh budddyyyy!!!
These two are truly a legend of the sport. The dedication and heart they put into their sports is unbelievable.
