Look how passionate he is about his work as a scientist. Look how passionate and joyfully he is about life, and being alive. He once said, 'I don't have bad days. I've never had a bad day'.
Meaning, he makes the most of everything, is very optimistic, and most definitely has a reason to exist and is full of hope, joy, etc. He loves to learn as much as he can, and he loves to share his knowledge with others.
We create our own purpose, or purposes, in our lives. I have purpose in my life, and joy and hope, because I have friends, an awesome family, a wonderful girlfriend, lots of interests and hobbies, a job I love.. there's lots of stuff in my life that I'm thankful for and I'm definitely full of hope.
Life can be awesome! Make the most of it :-)

As a patron, I'd really like to see more biology topics that teach it even from fundamentals and on to today's headlines. I really like for two things honestly, 😊 first is how to understand a scientific paper. How to read it and number two which maybe should be number one is walk us through an experiment. Several examples that show us the scientific method in action. Thanks man!
To understand papers you need to understand 1. statistics - words like p- value, n, and false positives and the like and also the 1. facts that we like to use AS MANY DIFFICULT WORDS AS ITS HUMANLY POSSIBLE because it makes us sound smart while reiterating obvious facts like "humans are mammals" or "liver is an organ" in the introduction to the actual part that matters.

I'm an electronics guy, and we don't have papers, we have datasheets. It has the same thing, oodles of jargon, excessive quantities of mildly relevant information, etc.
BUT teaching a newbie how to find the interesting parts of a datasheet isn't too terribly hard, at least to get the basics across, and it really helps them become independent. Sure, there's still lots of Wikipedia and googling, lots of asking a gray beard for help, but a little does go a long ways.
I mean, I've watched just about all your videos and most of your shorts. But as for me, make whatever you like Forrest. I like your personality and attitude. Very positive and enthusiastic. It's great.
