I had 11 lumbar surgeries. So I don’t think your advice will apply? I have a spinal cord stimulator that is a huge help. In fact it’s a life saver. Brings feet back to life. I have severe neuropathy, multiple lumbar and hip replacement surgeries

Ok I just watched…. Short but sweet a lot of helpful info. THANKS! I go for my MRI today so hopefully we find something out. As of now my Symptoms are some swelling & numbing at the bottom of my 🦶. Big toe hurts a little & the 3 middle toes won’t separate.
May I add that for peripheral neuropathy, the best supplement that I have used that worked very well is an AOR product called High Dose R-Lipoic Acid 300mg per capsule - Take 2-3 capsules per day. Or the best herbal tincture I have used (doesn’t taste great but works like a hot damn) is call Cleavers or Latin name Galium Aparine. I have personal experience with both. Love your shows and your expertise on the subject!
I suffer pain, numbness and burning in my feet. I’ve been doing exercises religiously everyday. I’m on high doses of gabapenton, I’m self injecting nerve blocker into my feet and Dr. Has been giving me injections in my hip. I’ve got new orthotics, new shoes. I’m using biofreeze often through the day. I have a foot massager that feels great but as soon as I try to do something the pain kicks in. I’m getting desperate and even trying CBD oil. I’ve had an MRI done and have herniated discs at the L4 and L5. I’ve been going to an RMT. Nothing seems to be working

Possible relation if burning in feet is from diabetic neuropathy, whereas type 2 diabetes or elevated glucose causes an increase in urination to remove excess glucose from the body. If this is the case, decrease your sugar intake and begin taking chromium picolinate to assist in balancing glucose. Also, magnesium glycinate is beneficial to lowering glucose and relaxing the nerves. Hope this helps.
Hi Dr. Tom, I have diabetic neuropathy. Very painful condition. I have long slim feet, and normal socks seem to work to an extent. I might just try these compression sock.

Thank you very much for this informative video. I am 68. I was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis 10 year ago. I don't take drugs. Two years ago I started having peripheral neuropathy simptoms. Can it be a related to MS, or it is a condition by itself?
Love your videos! Thanks! What might cause bottom of my feet to feel swollen & skin gets very dry. Have peripheral neuropathy. Use Frankincense/Myrrh oil & then lotion helps lots. Then sometimes put ice on bottom of feet. Any advice appreciated.
High Doc👍🏻 I often hear about people having pains and needle pricking like symptoms beside numbness. I never have any pain or needle like pricking symptoms. My only symptom is numbness in both bottoms of my feet. So it effects my balance when walking. I drove a lot for a living daily for over 30 years. Mostly stop and go local driving. So I’m thinking maybe I don’t have neuropathy. Maybe I have Tercel Tunnel? Thanks for your informative videos.
For sure, just like carpal tunnel, tarsal tunnel can be very common. Sometimes there is tight ligaments or swollen veins compressing on the nerve, but the vast majority of the time it is flattening of the foot that stretches and puts tension on the nerve from what we see. Great support cna usually alleviate that!
I don't feel numbness, burning, or pain. But I feel itchy feet on the bottom and toes when I lay down in bed at night. My AC1 is in the high range, not at the level to take medication. Why do I have itchy feet at night? What vitamin should I take for this itchy feet problem? Thanks
I feel a small cylinder of numbness on my right leg, a little above my ankle. Like when you squeeze using fingers around Achilles, tibia and fibula and it hurts. Also below the heel, more on the right part where every shoe starts to degrade. And under the right fibula around the calcaneus and talus. Feel is like two bones in friction. Melted glued. All due to unnatural transition through the gate of a foot and in my opinion cuboid syndrome. Because I have a huge chunk , like if you cut a tennis ball( calotte- math term) and place it near my ankle. Right foot is bigger visually from the sprain. If I sit or like doing a lunge on my right foot, my ability to move quickly up is not present. Like lost contact. Not vein or vascular. But I have from squats some "vein dents"... like small bubbles inside skin. Idk if it is tendon related. Nerve related too. Right leg is under tension. Stretching hurts. And if I run on grass, the angle of that transition forward is big. I am not relaxed. Can't really land properly. And I feel like something in my ankle is on the way. Out of place. By touching over, under fingers I feel bone spike, but from looking at an anatomy picture tabular or 3d I can't tell if it is cuboid. My Achilles in back is like loose hell. Like I am hitting not with foot bones but strings attached from behind my leg, on them, like playing an instrument. And under foot. Hot. Like if it is about to break. Also a sound of cracking is present in movement forth and back without torsion in or out. Below the right fibula that tendon that goes above the small bone, talus is it or cuboid , in that direction is crackling. Generally most pain is under right heel, than upper part of fibula , cylinder above and behind heel( Achilles), and place on right side of right foot, under fibula near calcaneus. Also along the fibula, below the knee. Right now, the right heel hurts the most. Tarsal tunnel. Sinus tarsalis. I don't have flat feet. But I do pronate on the right because I feel as if my balance point of the tibia, fibula and heel is not in middle but moved to the left, by adding a surface on the right tarsal part of the foot. I feel unnatural in that area between the tarsals and ankle, upper portion. Not relaxed. Stiff. People on the internet showed me how to make a tib bar. Many attach weight to make the tibia stronger. But I do simple exercises. Tipping on the fingers, or lifting the ankle on stairs or by leaning against the wall. What are your thoughts on placing a tennis ball calotte under an arch and running like that. :-)))) All the best to you people!
Doc I have been having tingling sensation like something is crawling under my feet and calf muscle for like four months now and it's not easy for me doc. I did the blood sugar test for diabetes 3 different times and it was normal. I don't know what must be the cause of the issues.😭😭

I do think it’s because I sweat too much from my feet and all that sweat stays in my shoe throughout the day and it creates itchy feet amongst other foods that I consume.

My burning feet started after being exposed to COVID-19 a year ago. Still having burning feet all day, everyday. I have seen a spine and foot surgeon. Had nerve tests done. None of these so called “experts” know what is causing my feet to burn. I have a L5/S1 disc bulge but the spine and foot surgeon state it isn’t causing my burning feet. Yes I’ve also had blood work done. All normal. Only thing I can point back to is COVID-19.
Is burning feet hereditary? My father and late grandfather both have burning feet but not as severe as mine. Doctors cannot find root cause as no case of diabetes in anybody
