Ladies, if you're perimenopausal/menopausal burning sensations on your legs, feet, chest, face, etc is a lesser known symptom but due to the loss of estrogen and effect on the nervous system, altered skin sensations can occur as tingling, crawling, itching, prickling or burning on the extremities. My burning legs/feet is hormonal. Loss of estrogen. Just saying if you're going through menopause and experiencing this distressing symptom and not getting any answers.
Yes it’s me and my symptoms I just saw a video too it said about lowering of estrogen and menopause I’m post menopause and it’s the worsed pain ever it’s hard to stop focusing on it and so hard when it’s bedtime there hasn’t been any relief really and taking b vitamins doesn’t seem to help such a terrible thing and its depressing the worsed symptom of menopause acually oh I do get headaches and don’t think stress helps either
Did you find any relief? I have burning sensation in my legs for years, since my 20s, and I work as a tour guide:( But in Peru-menopausal stage it’s got worse.. I will try to cut sugar and follow the advice in this video.
@@wabi_sabi_love sorry to hear this. In my case anxiety has been the main culprit for my burning skin. It manifests in so many ways and can cause a buring skin sensation which always subsides when my anxiety lessens, however menopause causes skin to be affected too due to the loss of estrogen. It dries the skin out, makes it more sensitive, itchy, bruise more easily and thinner an it loses collegen. You may find certain clothing aggravates your skin when it hasn't done before. I can't wear tight fitting clothes anymore such as jeggings or tight jeans. The labels and seems aggravate me too. To help this I wear loser cotton clothes where possible, hydrate with lots of water, try to lessen stress as this one is vital as it affects your menopause symptoms hugely and will make them worse, and a good moisturiser for very dry skin like Aveeno to keep it moisturised will help lots. Avoid highly fragrance products with lots of chemicals. Natural as possible. Avoid very hot showers as this will dry skin out more. X
