I love Good Grief for Batman, it is perfect for and true to Batman and his character. This stand perfectly represents Batman making himself a symbol of fear for villains; they see the bat, they brown their pants. Edit: Batman's cowl/binoculars shouldn't work against Risotto's invisibility, as they would probably have some metal in them and Batman would have to discard them.
The only real criticism I have of this video is that you don't talk about Batman's gadget's a lot. For simplicity's sake you could've just used his Arkham franchise's utility belt. Against Ghiaccio he could've used the thermal batsuit he gets to defeat Mr. Freeze on Arkham Origins' Cold Cold Heart DLC (If you didn't play it I would recommend, it's insanely good) because there is no real way Batman is casually punching through a block of Ice without breaking his hands and it's not a stretch to say that he would be able to get it since he gets Alfred to ship it to him in just a few minutes. Against Risotto I wouldn't say that Risotto would really fight him, they would just have a conversation on why he is doing this if he doesn't even get anything out of it, Batman would probably even try to help him by getting him and his team a good job at Wayne Enterprises or something like that. Risotto is vengeful but he isn't stupid, he knows that Batman could've easily killed him and his squad without them even knowing he was there. He also knows that they are bad people so Risotto would probably just understand that there is no use in fighting him. You probably wanted them to fight for the sake of the video tho but it's not that bad. IF they had to fight I would see Batman have a lot of problem with Risotto creating stuff inside the Batsuit, honestly I could even see Bruce unmasking to get scissors out of his thoat or something like that. Batman would probably retreat so he could create armor that blocks Metallica's magnetism or something like that. Tho if he stayed untill the end I would probably see him needing to rest for a day or two since fighting Risotto takes a lot from your body. I honestly think that Batman would lose against King Crimson if he stayed for the first time, depending on the environment he wouldn't be able to know how King Crimson works and die, not much to use on an empty room y'know. He either retreats to get more information and ends up stumbling on Polnareff or he creates a gadget that is able to take advantage of Diavolo's "short sightness" by tricking him into a place where he can defeat him. Would also be cool to see a video on "What if Batman tried to track down Diavolo as Golden Wind happened" just to see him interact with Giorno and Bruno. Since Batman can't let Giorno keep the gang even if Giorno's intentions come from a noble place he would either arrest the gang after the events or Batman would let him keep it on the condition he doesn't hurt innocent people. PS: If La Squadra wasn't a group of assassins Batman would team up with them lol
I do agree with you. I’m wanted to talk more about the gadgets, but then I realized through my research he has WAY TOO MUCH. Borderline gag powers at some points. But I was thinking the entire time he has like beginning of Arkham asylum gadgets.
29:43- yeah both Ciocolatta and Secco personality wise are what Batman faces almost everyday with his rogue gallery. Batman to Ciocolatta: I have a feeling you’re Joker with a Stand.
Oh yeah, if Green Day ends up killing as many bystanders as it did in Golden Wind(and sadly it kinda has to if Batman is going to have a chance of figuring out how it works without getting killed by it), even he's going to be tempted to commit a seven page muda-muda-muda rush on the bastard. EDIT: though on the other hand, I'd imagine that Joker wouldn't get a Stand as blunt and simple as Green Day. I see him getting one of those "weak/useless" Stands that require something clever on the User's part to become terrifying.
30:25 from what I can tell, Giorno entered the boss’s name on a name database, and it tripped a bug that alerted Pol. Basically, the boss would NEVER ask anyone to create such a bug, because that would mean revealing his identity, and the only person who know’s the boss’s identity outside of Diavolo himself is Pol due to his near death experience.
If Batman ever got a stand it whould probably be like the strongest stand for no reason other then than he's Batman. Or his stand is just a stand version of superman who just as strong as the real one.
I think its a little funny that batman could just take off his suit and rest up somewhere as Bruce Wayne while giving himself prep time. During the fight with King Crimson, I also do believe BatMan could simply throw a timed bomb before the time skip so he could figure out whats really happening. (Assuming he knows how long it takes the bombs to detonate.) Kind of similar to Polnareff figuring it out.
batman has no means to defend himself during timeskip. he isn't FTL like silver chariot who used an AOE attack on reaction to even hit Diavolo. the entire thing with King Crimson is, if the prediction shows he dies, he will die. And King Crimson can skip the part where events happened to kill him, leaving only the result.
@@parry3439 if you're talking about what I said at the end, I didn't mean he'd throw the bomb at Diavolo. He could throw it on the ground/wall, anywhere. Polnareff figured out the timeskip ability by cutting his hand and seeing the droplets of blood multiply at the end of the timeskip, that's all I meant.
Man. I was kinda hoping Bats and Risotto would team up leading to Diavolo dying by Risottos hand (making it canon) but we all know Bruce wouldn’t allow that. Still a phenomenal video nonetheless!!
I think it'd be cool if it also gave whoever he used it on some sort of stand-related PTSD. Like if the fear was so intense that it comes back every time that you pull out your stand, so effectively he never has to break his no kill rule because it would neutralize stand users
given batman also regularly has battled mr. freeze. the countermeasures he carries incase of a fight freeze, would work here 19:25 also if i am not mistaken, mr freeze can actually freeze things to absolute 0
15:43 Yeah for this fight though, we need a scene of batman confronted with mirror man, and after pretending he was a ruthless demon, tirns around and looks at the mirror to get jumpscated by his own stand.
Man’s tickling my special interests. Thanks for the video! I’d actually really love a Batman story that felt like Araki’s writing. It would give us a story that gives us the silliness of campy older Batman stories and marries it to the emotional weight of more gritty modern Batman stories.
Funny that this came up in my recommended feed; I was actually contemplating writing a Jojo/DC crossover. Only reason I haven’t started is that one of the major plotlines involves the Court of Owls being found out, allowing Funny Valentine to win the presidency in a landslide victory (Steven Armstrong from Metal Gear Rising is his running mate). That’s an important plot line, and I don’t know if it will be well-received.
batman's stand ability would likely have to do with fear, as his whole toolkit is scaring the shit out of villians when he fights them, in an attempt to, to seem like near invincible, borderline supernatural
He'd definitely be able to defeat Passione (The organisation) by giving Gordon info he gathers through his detective work, but the members? No. He might rven figure out Doppios split-personality thing but he'd stand no chance in a fight
@goroakechi6126 If we're going by DC logic, yes he can. Batman beats up corrupt cops and judges lol, if Gordon brings irregular evidence which is later thrown away in court, Batman is coming for the judge too and that fight he'll definitely win.
@@TheReal_N-I-F-F There’s a difference between corruption in the American justice system on a city scale and an entire COUNTRY being run by organized crime. There aren’t international officers to bring him in.
The only problem would be I don’t think Gordon has any jurisdiction outside of the country. As well as doing that would put Gordon’s life in danger as someone could send a long distance stand to take him and cops out .
I’d say Diavolo has an alternative win con by sacrificing his drug trade in order to get Batman off his back. As Batman lacks a motive to take down the gang/boss specifically. Here, the motive is to stop the drugs in Gotham. If Diavolo sacrifices his drugs, Batman will add him to his very long list of “to do”s and focus on other villains.
27:00 batman and polnareff meet up to talk about teaming up. Talking heads is attached to Batman causing them To fight til they eventually learn of talking heads and take him out.
People thinking Batman's weak because he's just a "normal" human without any powers reminds me of people who's still on unionically think that demon slayer characters are weak because they are also just "normal" humans.
So going off of this trend: How long/short would it take for Batman to figure out Kira's identity, and would he be able to capture and prosecute Kira? Could Batman go against the Ultimate Lifeform? Could Batman stop the Heaven Plan? Could Batman withstand Calamity? Just some ideas to throw your way
I can honestly not think of any way for Batman to defeat Risotto or Diavolo. I see him eventually taking down anyone else, but Risotto is an instant one-shot with Predator stealth. Now, Batman has defeated Yautja before, so he has experience with that kind of invisibility, but Nero's ability is instant death as soon as you are in range. He was only defeated by bizarre (ha) circumstance in JoJo's canon. As for Diavolo, well...even a team of stand users couldn't defeat him. He would have defeated Nero if he could have fully manifested King Crimson. His ability is straight hax and only stronger hax was able to take it out. The *only* way Batman or _anyone_ wins is with a requiem stand.
Bat Paltinium! Za prep time! Black Platinium? Stand power: makes target afraid of itself while seen. Possibly causing heart stroke and if not then it can morph into what the target is the most afraid of. While in fear target cannot get away from the stand and stand can use it's claws, tentacles and multiple jaws to damage the target. When there's no target it morphs into what Bruce is most afraid of as the stand is made of fear. To beat it you need to get over your fear so it has no complete domination over you. Close range stand with tentacles like Hierophant' ones but black. And of course it has Batman's horns/ears (whatever are those)
Batman ironically probably would struggle more against risotto than diavolo due to risotto being a living metal detector and countering all his weapons(except hand to hand combat which batman would easily win in though) but itd be risky since risotto can control his weapons and armor
Another important part about stands is that you have to have one. The stand arrow brings out your dormant stand, but it you don't have a fighting spirit it has nothing to manifest as so you just die from it.
The way you describe the nero fight should mean bats instantly loses. The only reason dappio doesn't die is because nero has no intention of killing him
Plot Continuation: good grief has a second ability that makes it able to trap enemies, he didn't kill anyone and just trapped them in good grief's pocket dimension...
I think this video was very well made and thoroughly deciphered. While i dont think Batman would beat Diavolo alone - i do think with help and gadgets that he'd be able to beat him over time. That, and the 2nd win con of exposing him could just play into effect.
As far as stands there is literally nothing he can do and soon as he confronts a stand user he’s cooked. He may be able to affect passione but once the boss gets wind of him then he just wouldn’t win because of the the lack of a stand and would end up like Palneref
I kinda would've figured that if Batman had a stand it would be a giant bat or a swarm of bats, but the idea it's his cowl is just as fitting. I could almost imagine a requiem ability for him would just put someone into an irreversible state of fear, pretty much like Scarecrow's fear toxin, but worse. I also think it's funny Batman fighting Ghiaccio since he's already dealt with Mr. Freeze, but at least he's reasonable in some capacity. I guess if anything, I'd be curious if Batman would team up with Bucciarati's team at all. Almost feels like that would give him the win hands down, since he could use everyone's abilities strategically, he'd just have to put up with a few of them being a pain in the ass arguably, but I guess that's the great thing about Batman, every version has worked with some unruly character in some way shape or form.
Passione: Everyone, be careful, the stand user that's hunting us could be anyone! *sees a man literally dressed like a bat* Passione:... nevermind, that's him. XD
I feel like Batman's stand would be more about detective power and stuff. Maybe it'd give him a premonition similar to Joseph, or something more intense like Spider-Man's spidey sense, or maybe even something like Eagle Sense from Assassin's Creed that can literally just watch back events and see what happened even if they were hundreds of years earlier. Batman being the world's greatest detective easily sounds like a manifested stand would be able to figure things out. With that kind of powerset, he could never be ambushed and might even intuitively know all enemy stand powers ahead of time, and he might even figure out Diavolo's identity _way_ earlier.
Batman’s stand ability having to do with petrifying people with fear is the kind of ability I would attach to Dio’s stand if I didn’t already know what The World’s ability was. And if you think about it, the characters throughout part 3 kind of set it up just for that, because they kept bringing up how they were terrified of Dio.
Ciocolata and Secco is an interesting fight, since it can range from pretty easy to pretty difficult. It honestly becomes easier if Ciocolata is in a helicopter again, since it gives Batman the chance to deduce that’s the source of the mold and just shoot a rocket or sumn and bring Ciocolata down. On the other hand, Secco’s combo with Ciocolata is very deadly because Secco could appear from right underneath Batman and just pull him into the ground without a chance to react, which would activate Green Day’s mold and potentially just kill him (like what would’ve happened to Bucciarati). For the easiest victory, Batman probably has a few moments from when the mold starts to spread to defeat Ciocolata, which allows him to beat Secco pretty easily afterwards.
I feel that with Risotto Nero, in-character Batman would have to talk Risotto into standing down or even swaying to his side. He’d never actually kill any of La Squadra so Risotto isn’t as pissed with him as Diavolo or Bruno’s gang(what are they doing during all this anyway?), and they both share a common enemy in Diavolo(if for different reasons) so Batman may have a chance at talking Risotto down before he suffocates or just dies from Metallica.
Batman's stand ability here is really really cool It's literally just what Batman would be trying to do anyway but rigged to work on anyone at a high level unless they have enough willpower to break free.
Nice work on this. I've been rewatching Vento Aureo and got into this (coincidentally) Now... I wonder how Earth-616 Daredevil (Matt) and/or Wolverine (Logan) would fare in this scenario. P.S.) I also wonder how Terry McGinnis/Batman Beyond would do.

Sick concept, exellent execution, overall great+goofy
Thank you!
Since he and Jotaro act pretty similar I imagine it would be pretty close to Star Platinum, probably with a shadow ability instead
I figured his stand would be a suit stand that makes a Batsuit (like White Album)
I could imagine him having a rohan like stand ngl.
@@gerbbabycare3771 not how stands work bro, if he has a shadow ability then his stand wouldn’t be physically strong
Batman would honestly have a detective oriented stand like moody blues either that or he would have a suit stand that is his bat suit
Batman doesn't beat risotto. Risotto can create blades in Batman's veins. Hes cooked.
Fr, bro said batman's gonna take his armor off like that matters
Batman taking full advantage of his whole "criminals are a superstitious and cowardly lot" concept in this run.
I just wanna see Batman in the backseat asking where Giorno learned to drive😂
Batman uses the pain of his past to help humanity. He uses his grief for good. Good Grief. That's pretty good
I think its a little funny that batman could just take off his suit and rest up somewhere as Bruce Wayne while giving himself prep time.
Imo batmans stand would be named "Shadows follow" based on the Metallica song . One of the riffs references the 60s batman theme too
Nah, Black Sabbath/Ozzy’s Paranoid
batmans requim stand Wispering Terror It causes you to view batman as your worst fear/nightmare and forces you to be afraid.
I think it'd be cool if it also gave whoever he used it on some sort of stand-related PTSD. Like if the fear was so intense that it comes back every time that you pull out your stand, so effectively he never has to break his no kill rule because it would neutralize stand users

Good Grief in name, concept, and origin is probably the perfect stand for batman. Metas cooked today. COOKED A FEAST!
Definitely enjoyed this video, it was amazing as a concept and you killed it. Worth every moment of sleep I missed and can’t wait to see more!
He'd definitely be able to defeat Passione (The organisation) by giving Gordon info he gathers through his detective work, but the members? No.
He might rven figure out Doppios split-personality thing but he'd stand no chance in a fight
He can’t win through detective work. Passione RUNS Italy.
@goroakechi6126 If we're going by DC logic, yes he can.
Batman beats up corrupt cops and judges lol, if Gordon brings irregular evidence which is later thrown away in court, Batman is coming for the judge too and that fight he'll definitely win.
@@TheReal_N-I-F-F
There’s a difference between corruption in the American justice system on a city scale and an entire COUNTRY being run by organized crime.
So Batman's stand is just the Nightmare Bat from the Arkham games... cool
27:00 batman and polnareff meet up to talk about teaming up. Talking heads is attached to Batman causing them To fight til they eventually learn of talking heads and take him out.
Finaly, a worthy content!
People thinking Batman's weak because he's just a "normal" human without any powers reminds me of people who's still on unionically think that demon slayer characters are weak because they are also just "normal" humans.

I enjoy this concept love to see more. Keep it up can't wait to see the end.
A extension on his stands, the shadows can surround areas in darkness and he could move though the shadows like darkness monster.

Another important part about stands is that you have to have one. The stand arrow brings out your dormant stand, but it you don't have a fighting spirit it has nothing to manifest as so you just die from it.

I think this video was very well made and thoroughly deciphered.
While i dont think Batman would beat Diavolo alone - i do think with help and gadgets that he'd be able to beat him over time.
That, and the 2nd win con of exposing him could just play into effect.
This was a fun watch.
As far as stands there is literally nothing he can do and soon as he confronts a stand user he’s cooked. He may be able to affect passione but once the boss gets wind of him then he just wouldn’t win because of the the lack of a stand and would end up like
Palneref
to be fair, Batman get a stand called good grief in this video.
*sees a man literally dressed like a bat*
Passione:... nevermind, that's him.
Ive always thought power scaling is just fan fiction for people without skill, good video
Good Grief sounds sick!! I'm imagining it kinda like Spawn's cape where it just shrouds around him but can also be used as a weapon
And what would be Batman’s plan to stop a guy who can see 10s into the future? What would he use to stop Diavolo to anticipate all his movements?
Batman’s stand ability having to do with petrifying people with fear is the kind of ability I would attach to Dio’s stand if I didn’t already know what The World’s ability was. And if you think about it, the characters throughout part 3 kind of set it up just for that, because they kept bringing up how they were terrified of Dio.
Now that I stop and think about it "The Batman" from the animated show against La Squadron and Diavolo would go pretty hard
Im loving the idea of Batman using his disguise, Matches Malone to pose as a wanna-be member of the gang to Polpon lmao
Batman's stand ability here is really really cool
It's literally just what Batman would be trying to do anyway but rigged to work on anyone at a high level unless they have enough willpower to break free.
Nice work on this. I've been rewatching Vento Aureo and got into this (coincidentally)
Now... I wonder how Earth-616 Daredevil (Matt) and/or Wolverine (Logan) would fare in this scenario.
