there was this one game that i had, me and 3 other guys were all in the Kfir C.7 and we all caught up to this F14 and fired about 6 missiles at him. As we were chasing him we managed to lead him into a canyon which we all chased him through and he spammed his flares. We managed to take him out because he spammed his flares and we caught him in a stall

Seguro que llegaras hacerte 7 e incluso 8. Es cuestion de tiempo, pero a demas si juntas a un buen piloto mas tener suerte en una partida normalmente llegas hacer muchas kills. Yo te recomiendo llevar 6 misiles de radar. En esta partida ves que son mas utiles que los phoenixs. Los phoenixs en realista y en estos mapas pequeños no llegan a ser utiles. Alguna kill te haras, pero si quieres llevar la combinacion mas eficiente yo llevaria la mia.
@@dfiestasr I found running x2 sparrow x2 Phoenix and x4 aim9's works really well when getting a lock isn't optimal and are still good for catching people off guard

Sorry if this is a stupid question. The guy at 3:35 in the F-4F, Do you think he would have made it if he had fired his flares and banked it left quickly? or did he just set his flares off too early? Just seems like he could have made it if he had done something different. Once again my apologies, I am ignorant in the ways of WT jet play.
Well, i made 7 kills many times with F5E... 7 kills, 5 kills, any match i can put 3 kills easy, I believe that in the toptier, what matters is the skill of each player with the respective jet, I hardly die to F14, easier for me to die to J7E than f14, Anyway, you played very well, congratulations for the video
Great game but I did notice two things that could’ve given you more kills this match, your reliance on missiles has had a noticeable effect on your gun aim, and you should get more familiar with when to use PD and normal SRC, it will help you maintain locks way better when you how when to switch. I’d recommend jumping into custom without missiles for about 30 minutes just to sharpen your gun aim, it makes a night and day difference for me
@@YT_niuniuhhh It’s about becoming a better player not getting max kills. Everyone should strive to better themselves at whatever they do. You never know when newly acquired skills will come in handy. There may come a time where the only way to save a teammate with someone on his 6 is to use guns. It’s ridiculous to say that you should just forget about guns because missiles are better. I still get aces in the F-14 running only Fox-2s and guns. And I’ll tell you, those matches are way more fun and satisfying than just Fox-1ing everything, as much as I love doing that too.
@@GrapeFlavoredAntifreeze While I understand your sentiment, the pilot reliance on missile increased and focus on guns decreased historically in real life around the time of Tomcats. It would make more sense if we had F15 and F16's due to the heavy influence of Fighter Mafia on its design echoing the old guard dogfighting methods of f86 and p51s as for F14, focusing on missiles is way to go. Guns on when it's all you have left and you have no other choice but to fight.
I'm in the process of downloading this from Steam. Air Conflicts Vietnam is the only other air combat game I last purchased, & has little fun factor, hope this is better!

I liked how you were hugging the terrain and would pop up to fire- all I could think of was the “Surprise,mf’er” clip. Also winning the game with the inverted cannon strafe was badass.
@@ariq4209 because if you shoot at long rage they can turn and avoid the missile, but if you shoot at 2-3km it is impossible for they to aviod the missile
People who don’t listen to the BS bigger WT UA-camr say. Chaffs are effective barely 15% of the time in any jets in the game. (I know.. very realistic radar mechanics in WT) Running flares only is wiser (ESPECIALLY WITH F-14) as you wont need to worry about bigger threat such has all aspects sidewinders
@@NotAnWildPig you just don't know how to use chaff . anything besides going 90 degrees to the missile while chaffing doesn't work . Secondly pre chaffing is extremely effective .
@@NotAnWildPig thats different . 90 chaff makes the missile go for the chaff if you try anything else the radar will lose lock but the missile will go for the enemy plane .

@@L_ky that's what happened with the f4's then they added a gun because the missiles weren't good enough until about the late 90s

@@NANOG-P8 most radar missile can still track sometime even up to 5 seconds after loosing lock. R24R, 7F etc
