BMW M535i - an 80s icon for an 80th birthday surprise

Birthday surprises don't come much better than an immaculate BMW M535i. The original owner of this car put it into storage in 1991 having bought it brand new ten years earlier.
Now his son has had this icon from the 80s recommissioned to surprise his father for his 80th birthday.

Gorgeous but I don’t even need the (M) series. It’s a beautiful car even to this day unlike what BMW has become. I’d choose vintage over a new. The car doesn’t age!!

Fantastic, still achingly desirable, even when compared to the original M5. I should think putting it in storage at 11,000 miles has proved it a very valuable investment indeed (not that this is important; once you had that, would you ever want to sell it on?) You guys are very talented people - it looks incredible - and it's genuinely nice to see one that hasn't been driven into the ground by idiots... (subbed on this video alone!).
