Great content, thanks much for the info. Two recommendations for future videos: 1, the music cut ins are obnoxiously loud relative to the content for those of us with a sound system on our desktops. 2, you really need to scale back on the phrase, "it self".
Wait, so you say it's a multi-colored print, but actually you just used a single multi-colored filament? That's a bit irritating or am i missing something?
It's a Brilliant light switch panel. You can find them on Brilliant's homepage. A little pricey, but works great and has Amazon Alexa built in. www.brilliant.tech/products/brilliant-control-two-switch-smart-lighting-smart-home-control?variant=43531106648258
Hey Chris, I really enjoy your content and would like to know if you have any old machines for sale or anything for cheap and affordable for me. Anything you can spare I would love to get into the hobby but money is tight right now and just looking for something reliable and good and hopefully cheap to start.
I wanted to, but this printer then this version of the printer came out ans is identical and has a bigger build volume which is what I'm looking for. I may still get it though since there are occasions where I print small objects.
HI I wanted to make an enclosure for the A1 bamboo because I have a room at 16°C and I had thought of making the walls with "non-woven fabric" (that is, the fabric that is put on plants in winter) so that the machine can breathe but at the same time have a temperature that is more or less acceptable for printing. I think that electronics don't have any problems ps. I will only use pla and petg what do you think?
I think it will be a future feature that needs to be unlocked by a software update. There are two ports on the back of the printer which makes me assume that eventually you'll be able to connect 2 AMS lite's or an additional accessory of some sort. I may test it out when i order a second combo.
Hmm. Im not sure. Only thing I can think of is to order and ship through a service such as MyUS.com. There are some reddit posts where some users have ordered using those services at an added cost.
@@PeterAgostiniJdcap26 printer only has wifi. I guess you could try lan mode and putting gcode on the sdcard but there are rumors it still phones home in lan mode and honestly I'm too lazy to try that lol, I put the bambu in an isolated network and have just sent 100% of things over the cloud. It's seeming to be a good printer so far, few things to learn but I think the majority of that is me not being familiar with bambu slicer in general, it's based on prusa slicer though so I'm familiar with that at least. I've had 2 outright fails, one seemed to be from trying to reprint an old file from the cloud, didn't play well but that was on shipped firmware not the day one patch, and then a spaghetti mess that I have no clue what caused it, I'm guessing crappy year old overture PETG, the one print I didn't watch or check in on lol. Other than that everything else has worked out great it's just a matter of me dialing in filament settings I think.
Like camera pixels, I wish we would get over the speed fad. I would rather our print take days or months etc. and come out perfect than minutes looking mediocre. JMO
I think the model kit was included if purchased at micro center or if you are a content creator. I purchased mine from @BambuLab and did not receive a model kit either. Definitely a let down.
got mine literally 8 minutes before the launch window so I was for sure in batch one, did not get any model kits in mine either, only the swatch sample set

Looks good 👌

The filament was multi colored lol.
Thanks for the great video
Thanks!
Did you take that time laps with that Bambu Lab A1 printer?
What is the little screen that you have on your wall next to your light switch?

I may consider selling one of my unused and older 3D printers. Where are you located?
@@3uilDStudio I am located in Northern California.
@3uilDStudio I can pay for shipping costs if needed or I can try to pick it up.
You should get the A1 mini, it really is a fantastic printer.

Bambu says they don't recommend enclosing the A1 on the page for it, not sure how much it will impact anything though

Ok ok
I will make a dust enclosure but with removable doors
Can you add another AMS lite? I've not heard anywhere that this is possible

Bambu Lab Website, under the Q&A's, states that it's capable of connecting only one AMS unit on the A1 and A1 Mini's.
Where can I order from here in Dubai, because the Bambu websites does not include Dubai, UAE for international shipping?

So do you send the G code file by WiFi from computer to the A 1 ? Ty for video
If you use Bambu's slicer it goes to the cloud and back to the printer
@@chomp7927 so direct hardwire connection from computer to printer or wifi to computer ? TY

Thanks for the Video, as far as the Model Kit in the box. Not all A1s come with a Model Kit, was kind of a let down.👍
