Eyeballing vs measuring the oil sounds like my ex and me, we both love cooking but we could never ever cook together because he'd be like "add sugar until it's sweet enough" and I'd be like "tHaT iS nOt a uNiT of MeAsUrEmEnT?!!"

Haha. it's so hard, whenever someone asks for a recipe I have to figure out what my "eyeballing" amounts for the ones asking because I really don't know 😂 seasoning always have to be eyeballed🙈

Lito, you did great! Love that you're coming out of your shell and everyone's encouraging you to do so, that's ballin'. If you ever wonder if oil is hot, you should see steam rising off of it, and if you're like, 'There ain't no way in hell this is hot yet.' but there's steam, get water on your hands and let a drop (from high up so you don't get burned) hit the oil. If it sizzles, you're gucci fam.

Lito, there are gluten-free (and non-alcoholic) beers if you want to try this again.
Also we're happy to help with some gluten-free baking if you want to give that a shot.
Gluten free baking is so hard! But so rewarding when you finally change a recipe enough that it works out and you can shock people with how good gluten free can be!

We had a psychiatric emergency today; for the first time, we came out of it feeling hopeful and like we're on the right, healing track. I hope we get to talk with you sometime in the future. Thank you all for what you do, and for your end message. We struggle with not feeling valid, or "consistent" enough. Sometimes, all someone needs is a gentle reminder.

I was just wondering--because I dunno how to contact you any other way--how do you sleep? What does your sleep pattern look like? Ours is really wacky and we have a sleep study tomorrow, but I have a hypothesis I would like to test and I'm hoping to win my neurologist over to my side so he'll book a second sleep study so shortly after tomorrow!
The hypothesis here concerns sleep, memory integration, meditation, blood flow, system communication... and a few more things. I haven't fully articulated it yet, I'm just curious what your guys' sleep pattern looks like, or if you've ever noticed any atypical pattern!

The Infinite Mind Healing Together Conference in Orlando has almost 300 registered participants for their February 2020 event! It is devoted to people with dissociative disorders, therapists who work (or wish to work with) people with DID and other DDs, and the loved ones who support people with DID, etc. Hear from experts in the trauma community, including researchers, as well as people with DDs who speak about their lived experiences. No judgements, lots of hope and acceptance! I attended their mini conference in Boston. They have their @#$% together!
!!! This is so cool to learn about, I'm a therapist in training who wants to work with people with dissociative disorders and I have some friends who do, so it would be INCREDIBLE to go to even a mini conference where I wouldn't be intruding on people's space. Thank you so much for telling us!!!

Lito, if you smash the garlic with the blade of your knife and the palm of your hand like you squashing a cockroach (hard) it will release the juices in the garlic 🧄 so they start flowing; THEN, if you want a stronger taste of garlic, chop into small pieces. The smaller the piece, the bigger the garlic flavor. You can also roast whole garlic in the glove and use it as a spread ❤️

Lito, I wish I had a Wyn when I cook something for the first time. I don’t like to be watched doing things that are new to me though, so I don’t even let my mom in the kitchen if I’m trying something new. So far I can make noodles (from a box) and eggs, so you are way more adventurous than I am!! Good job! So happy to see you!
