I just got my new 2024 1LT Trax I love it I had a 2015 one I traded in. This car is so quiet and drive very well. It pick up speed very fast. I’m 72 and it is so easy to drive.
I bought the 2024 nitro yellow 2RS TRAX My first chevrolet 57 years old Own lots of new vehicles in my time including a 2016 Dodge Laramie. And I really like this little suv ... Safe travel s y'all
I drove the LT and it is lightweight. The wind really affected the ride on the highway driving around 55mph. It does not have a lot of horsepower but it gets you where you need to go. Love the infotainment system, no connectivity issues. Smooth ride
Two weeks in on a Nitro Yellow Activ, love how the yellow accents of the interior matches the paint added some pocket mats with yellow accents for the doors and center console area. This vehicle goes far beyond what I expected. Chevrolet did a great job with the Trax 💛
Thanks for great video . @ 13:10 is that HUD? I changed my order from 1RS after seeing your video. So much more equipment & Tech for small $$! Thanks again.
Test drove one a few days ago, I was amazed at the build quality inside and out. Also the drivability with the 3 cyl engine is just amazing. {peppy} Price wise it is a absolute bargain in todays market. Wish I needed a new SUV this would be the one to own.
Excellent review. Calm and composed. Please show us Blind Spot Monitoring System and the warning projection on windscreen. Also does the entire steering heats ?
Considering the last Trax was basically a punchline, It's really surprising and impressive that this new one is getting such favorable reviews. Great video. I appreciate your emphasis on the ride quality / smoothness.
I bought my 2021 Trax because it was the smallest AWD vehicle Chevy made and it has a 4 cyl. engine with reliable Port Injection. The new Trax is bigger than the Trailblazer, heavier than the previous Trax, no AWD available, less ground clearance, and a less powerful 3 cyl. engine with Direct Injection which is notorious for gunk build-up and oil dilution...and it has that annoying Engine Stop/Start feature. I think the new Trax also has that stupid capless gas tank which is less effective against keeping dirt and moisture out. Although the new Trax does still have a real 6-speed auto transmission, I have a feeling it will be phased-out when GM runs out of the surplus and then replaced with a rubberband-powered CVT.
I am 99 percent sure, I will have this trim sometime in February! Can't wait to upgrade from my 2013 1.8 litre 133hp/121 ft. Torque Chevy Sonic. Im buying a case of fuel treatment for direct injection! And I am not wanting a race car, but just a nice, roomy cruiser!
I've had the 3 cylinder Trailblazer for av few years and love it. The 3 cylinder is much better than I was expecting. I plan to trade in for a Trax soon
Dude you were so close! The driver display is TOTALLY CUSTOMIZABLE! You can choose from 4 different display options for your speedo, gas, tach etc. Just push the scrolling knob on the right side of the steering wheel and you can choose to change your display. It's okay most reviewers of the Trax fail to discover this feature.
Our city (McMinnville, Oregon) Chevy dealership is getting 4 LT 's January 15, 2 blue, 1 Mosaic Black, One Cheyenne Orange. I should be getting a VA settlement early February. All 4 are under $24,000. If one is available, when I get my money, I think this might just go home with me! But, you best believe they better have that infotainment issue ( recall) fixed on mine! It's not just inconvenient, it's dangerous not to get that looked at, and fixed! But, I will stress they better honor the Warranty! If they give a laissez-faire attitude, bye-bye. I will get a base model in a neighbor city!
How does the 'auto lane assist' handle scenarios like when you had to cross the center line to pass a truck that was pulled over on the shoulder? Do you have to 'fight' the auto lane departure system to force the car to cross the line to avoid cars pulled over on the shoulder?
I just purchased the activ model and it is amazing. For the lane departure, you do have to firmly let the vehicle know that intend to change lanes otherwise it try to guide you back in the lane as it is designed to do. I probably would only use it on long drives and not on short in town trips
I love the looks, But, I want a Mechanic ( unbiased) to inspect everything! I hope Chevy will honor the warrenty. I will baby it, if I do get one. I have heard about 80 good, 20 bad reviews. I hope it has the Geo Metro lifespan, my Sister got from her tough little metro (147,000 miles). I might go Base Model, less infotainment issues. But, for close to same price Toyota Corolla base model. Also, a little more Honda Civic hatchback base.
Only thing I didn't like about the interior is the Volume knob. Only a few aftermarket headunits have them. I feel it's a more direct/faster way to adjust the volume. Props chevy... However, look at the placement of the volume knob @ 20:21 right under the wheel. I would have placed it in the point on the right.
3 cylinder 1.2 l Turbo on a 4000 Lb vehicle?? Love the look and interior BUT the power-plant is VERY worrisome over time. That's a time bomb waiting to happen.
It has a cheap "wet timing belt" that needs replaced at 100k miles for $1,500 or more. You'll spend twice what you saved on a Toyota on maintenance. Have funnnn
Ty, nice review... in the steering wheel there is 4 settings for the (Gauge) Speedometer :) you can change the Digital to Analog... play with it and you'll see what i mean :) ... for $25,000 total, you can get a sunroof :) i like the Sterling Silver best for me with yellow or red accent and larger wheels...(after market) all in all not a bad price for someone who has a decent used car to trade in for it...

We got an LT just a few days ago. It’s great so far.
Just bought one and for the price, it's a great vehicle.

Thank you for this vid. I am considering this vehicle; really like the RS2. Good value as you said and it's a very nice design for the price point.
If only all marginal vehicles could be improved like this! I think that it is just the perfect vehicle for me.
I think you’ll be happy with this! I most certainly am, its a really really great car for the money.

The ride quality and smoothness is sometimes not even seen in vehicles that have a price of double this!

A refreshed Trailblazer is coming soon with all new interior and updated fascia, if you would also like AWD you can wait on that too.

Nice report. My local dealer will have a few of them in next week. I found out they are made in South Korea.
We love ours got it Wednesday has blue trim on the dash what we don't like no vents in back and no cup holder in back seat
I like the way the front looks. The back of the car could use a better design. At that price you really cant complain though
Kinda Looks like a ford explorer in the back
I got the track lt and I like it. Traction assist and the driver’s confidence package is epic.

Just use your blinker it will cancel out you lane assist. Or just turn it off.

I love the color, but it doesn't seem to be an available color. Did you have to special order this color?
Keep your hands on the wheel
Wow 59 mph in a 30 mph zone, lol 😉good thing no cops were around. It seems pretty lively though and nicely trimmed inside.
Simply for testing purposes! But yes it is plenty peppy and nicely finished inside.
Awesome review, but just out of curiosity, do you still have that 2015 Cruze and if you do what do you think about it overall in the long term
Thank you for the support! I do not have the Cruze anymore, but for the 2ish years and 25k miles I put on it I was very satisfied!
I have a 2015 cruze, still a very reliable vehicle for me so far

You have buttons on the back of the steering wheel that turn the volume up and down
Fan Speed should be the left control, GM..
A four wheel drive version of the Chevy Trax is not necessary.
A hybrid version might be very useful.
Only thing is when you go to hybrid the price goes way up. I think they excluded AWD and Hybrid to keep the price reasonable.
3:14, na dude I see a cloud...
the new Buick Envista is even better
$$$$$$$$$$$$ too !
It’s the same car different design same functions all around. I do like the exterior design of the Buick version but the interior design of the Chevy.
Why they decided to put 1.2 3 cylinders engine and the fuel economy is not great Nissan sentra can give you better gas mileage
Sentra isn’t a crossover SUV

True I dont mind it made in S Korea to be honest, but it and the Trailblazer should have been made at the Lordstown plant.
