Seen this new Marina Blue on an LT a week ago. Very sharp! Thinking I'd love to see this on an RS, which isn't much different, but to see how it plays off the machined wheels.
Great review. Never understood why the backseat not getting an armrest/cupholder setup would be the cost savings GM would use. My guess is that next refresh adds that back in. GM had a fantastic 9sp automatic that was paired with their diesel engine on the Cruze. I wish they’d just use that one as standard. Sadly, they are heading more towards CVTs…bleh.
Activ and 2RS trims are both top of the line. Only difference is that the Activ has the power driver’s seat while the 2RS has the 19-inch wheels and flat bottom steering wheel.
I bought this truck and 37 days later the a/c went out and now it’s going on 2 months and it still hasnt been fixed and the dealership keeps telling its gm’s fault due to the bad supply chain for their parts
I've been in your shoes. I had the same issue with my 2016 SS last year. They couldn't find the part, and it took weeks to fix my car. I called GM corporate and raised hell. They ended up paying some of my rental car fees and giving me a 3,500 voucher towards a lease or purchase of a Chevy vehicle. That's what I used to get my Trax. Sucks you're going through that, and I've been there. Squeaky wheel gets the grease. I would call GM corporate and raise hell. They might do something for you.
There’s a lot of room in that engine bay for a little larger motor I’m sure people wouldn’t mind just just a little extra for a car with about 180-200hp
Probably cheaper to replace the engine rather than replace the timing belts. There should be plenty of low mileage engines and transmissions available in a few years since this model is selling so well. You could probably score a low mileage engine for less than $2k when needed.
My black activ has the yellow trim on the seats. I think yellow is the only seat trim color available for the activ. My front air vents and trim have a bronze color.
