This is an outstanding performance of a great song, surely one of the best ever. This song seems to keep getting better and better every time they play it. The visuals on the screen are incredible too with the crashing waves and all the elements from the Cedarwood Road visuals floating around. This video alone shows just how great U2 are live. Incredible!
Agree as well! I strongly believe that the Cedarwood Road Tsunami is extreme as ever...I agree that I also like the Simulated Tsunami as well...plus, its one of my favorite animations so far!
There is also something else as well during the waves from Cedarwood Road i mentioned about; if there is another video of the performance there is also the water rising up rapidly, a surf wave from Hawaii breaking...and I also like the fact that the waves are both vector illustrations and edited video footage..it makes this look just as powerful
There's just something so amazing about "Until the end of the world" from bonos vocals to edges guitar, there best performance of this song in my opinion

They need to play more of these "smaller" venues rather than the stadiums, I saw this tour at the O2 London and was right next to the B stage and up close with the band. They could easily sell out 10 nights at the O2.
This whole concert is phenomenal , so many high moments in it , so much emotion. and the spectacle, really mind blowing. An experience for your heart your eyes your ears your mind and your soul and all your senses
It's one of those rare songs that started off great on an album but has got better n better over the years from Zoo TV, Popmart, Elevation Tour through to this - powerful tune😆
The song that officially made me a U2 fan back in 1992... Any chance you guys can release a concert video from one of your Zoo TV indoor shows? That would be epic

The band played this in Denver on May 21, 2011. It was the day the Rev. Harold Camping had predicted the end of the world would start. So they dedicated this song to him.

Ha! Awesome. One of my favorite songs ever. but I see that Edges "mistake" in the solo has been "fixed" in post production (just before Bono says "oh Edge I'm sorry" is in the process shot and audience footage.
There's nothing hidden about it. Bono and Edge both were open about that back in 1991 when Achtung Baby came out. They were inspired by Brandon Keneally's novel The Book of Judas and by the thought that there is no hope for anyone if there isn't hope for Judas. This is why Bono often opens UTEOTW with a cry like, "Hey, Judas! Come on!" or "Jesus, this is Judas." And it's why Bono usually plays Judas to Edge's Jesus during performances of this song. (This time around, though, Bono instead plays a person losing faith.)
@@cw9817 Always knew The Secret between Judas and Jesus ... Of course it broke Jesus heart because he loved Judas so much much much much much 😢 But if Judas didn't do what he did this world would have no savior😇

@@nicholasellul3897 It's from William Blake's Divine Image poem, which the band also gave a hat tip to on the album Songs of Innocence.
This whole performance is incredible, yet 5:25 on is where I get the goosebumps. Edge is absolutely brilliant on the guitar.
A perfect album, Achtung Baby.
This song has got one of my favourite quotes "In my dream I was drowing my sorrows but my sorrows, they learnt to swim" ❤
I think it is a phrase said by Frida Kalho. Maybe, Bono admire her. He sometimes uses other people's phrases in his songs.

I took the money
I spiked your drink
You miss too much these days if you stop to think
You lead me on with those innocent eyes
You know I love the element of surprise
In the garden I was playing the tart
I kissed your lips and broke your heart
You
You were acting like it was the end of the world
