SOI is such a great album. Sadly U2 didn’t choose the correct order of singles. ‘Raised by Wolves’ and ‘Cedarwood Road’ should have definitely been aired as singles.
No doubt. I've been a fan since War, but it the last three albums it seems as if the marketing department got a hold of the single releases. So many great songs.

Ciao from Mexico City, Raffaella Deluca! I lived one year in your amazingly beautiful city a long time ago (91-92). We are still in lockdown here, 13 months now. I hope everything's better there now.
What they went thru as young men & now can relay to the crowd & fans exactly what & how they felt back then & the everlasting effects on their lives & the ways the past shaped their futures forever, such raw emotion still, probably will be forever, that's what trauma is & does ......
Diane is Bono’s very best friend she understands him like no one else but his son Garff is pretty close to him and he loves him so much that he just wants to be friends with him and take his feelings away Garff and Bono wrote “Raised by wolves” together
ive said a few times recently that U2 lacks passion in live performances nowadays. regardless of the age limitations i notice its mostly in bonos singing and body language because us as humans interpret passion through vocals and movement the easiest, but ive come to realize i was wrong in a way, as that its more the case when it comes to stuff theyve already done a million times live, years on end. but if you listen to, and watch them perform, stuff they are passionate about right now and is relevant to them today, thats where you'll find the U2 youre looking for. what a performance this was 👌
So much better than "the sphere" starting with the audience, I can tell these are legitimate fans not like the sphere audience which are all there just to see the big sphere thing
Bono here is playing a character who loses faith in God due to the Irish troubles. This song is autobiographical; Bono only providentially escaped the 1974 car bombings, by taking a different route home than usual. But a good friend's father was killed in the bombings, which led the friend to lose faith for decades. The friend also turned to drugs, and so inspired U2's classic song "Bad" (1984). So Bono:s attention actually is directed outward in this song. And for purposes of this concert, he's playing a character losing faith.
??? This live portrayal of a person losing faith in God due to the Irish troubles is spot on with the tone and intent of this song. It's based on what happened to Bono's friend's brother when their father was killed during the May 17, 1974, car bombings in Dublin.
U2 never fails to give an extraordinary performance.
The Edge : the only person who can play two instruments at the same time

@@krypto_9872 can't argue with that. Would have changed the nature of the entire project.
None would do well on today's radio anyway
This album is so great
Artistic impression is awesome
This song was amazing live. A lot of people know the great lyrics. Hope they keep playing it next tour.
Adam was so perfect 😍. What a bass line
Concordo
I agree, he is probably one of the most underrated bass players in rock
This is a great, underrated U2 song.

This song is about having your Faith tested and believing in your own family because you know that they are not going to let you down
We just studied Psalm 23 today and I immediately came back here. 🤯🧠❤️😍

I’ll admit it. I missed this song. Maybe I just needed to see it performed live, but this is mega.

Foi um show após ataque na França, eles homenagearam as vítimas do ataque.
Comfort me??? Take away the reasons I need comforting... In that way he'd help millions of people instead of just Bono.

🇮🇹 Jamm team 🇮🇹
This live rendition has an aggressive tone which the song was not meant to convey to the audience at all it is a misinterpretation
