There was a guy during the 1973 oil crisis that couldn’t afford to heat his home out in the country side. He signed himself up for every bit of junk mail he could think of. He then had 70 pounds a day of free heating fuel for his wood stove delivered courtesy of the US postal service.
I remember this, he started a bit of a craze. The junk-mail folks had to hire people to trawl the data to get them off their lists :D

This is, beyond question, my favourite Simon Whistler channel.
My daughter bought me a subscription to Magellan, for Christmas. It’s excellent. Between all Simons UA-cam channels & MagellanTV, I’m sorted for entertainment forever! Although I did take break to watch “My Octopus Teacher”, that was awesome, it definitely deserved both the BAFTA & the OSCAR that it won. Just saying.

That said, I don't see any reason not to have female frontline soldiers if they meet requirements. They'll just have a harder time meeting those requirements.

@@chesh1rek1tten It started off as a series by Terry Deary in the 90s? I devoured them all as a kid. They were awesome. I think it turned into a skit show and game show, and then they wrote more books. I have no time to do proper research on this though, just what I remember experiencing.
Never saw the show, it was s bit after my time, but I really enjoyed the books before I outgrew them. Even now, I'll occasionally remember one of the jokes. Very well written and clever books.

I'm literally watching this vid for the first time and I was sitting here like, "This is so familiar...wasn't this an episode of Wishbone that inspired me to read a book?" I couldn't remember the title so I googled the plot and found the book, so I looked up the origins of the story. I was today years old when I learned that TCoMC is based on a real story.
I remember one story of revenge that happened 1950s. A veteran of WW2 after learning a relative was badly beaten and raped he gathered a large group of veteran buddies. In the dark of night the the man who committed the horrendous crime was beaten to the point of being crippled along with the rest his gang.

I don’t mind the long intros. Everything about the show style is great. Very refreshing and unique compared to most channels. I especially enjoy when I watch one of Simon’s billion other channels and you can see the BB personality leak through that previously he kept under wraps.

MCN = multi-channel network. Theoretically they gather up a number of smaller UA-camrs and represent and promote them for a cut of their revenue. But typically they put in little to no effort and take a much bigger bite than you would think from that description.
