- this house was built around the turn of the century and abandoned after the owners passed away. the new owner who inherited the property isn't interested in the house and its been left completely abandoned with the power still on.
That room you called a second kitchen is actually a butler's pantry.

It kinda looks like a part of the house was made into apartments. Because of the extra kitchen sinks and cabinets. Also, the extra bathrooms
Judging by the hardware on the doors and foundation I'm guessing the house was built in the late 1800 or early 1900 probably built in rural area since some houses in that era could have electric but normally be in a city
Very old houses have quality, character and such emotions. Every house could tell a story. Pity it has been left to rot.😥💖💖💖
It's a shame that this house wasn't sold so it could be cared for properly. I love the beautiful big rooms and the pocket doors are a favorite of mine. You really need to start taking a spider stick with you to clear them out before you enter a room, lol.

Those little sraps of sheetrock, screwed to the wall by the light switch, are likely there to hold patch plaster in behind them. The place was certainly a work in progress, that's a lot of house to work on, easy to get sidetracked to different projects.

If I have the correct house in mind, this house burned down a couple of weeks ago, on July 28th. It is completely destroyed. The walls still stand but the roof caved in.

There seem to be some spiders there.😏 Anyway, good video, Thanks. Inherited probably saw back taxes owed and future of more property taxes and said screw this. These expenses, utilities, maintenance, etc have turned away many a potential homeowner, inheritor, even if they were given it. Expenses are never ending.

Seems like me that they would have disconnected the power to the abandon house to be on the safe side just an case of a fire breaks out.
