It’s a decent property, just needs cleaned up and renovated. The house is in decent shape for being abandoned, obviously its looks like someone is working on it or was working on it. Hard to say really, it’d be cool to have the backstory of the place. I’m curious to see what it looks like on a later date. Keep us informed for a future video 😎🧰✌️
@@SkerboysweetOther countries aren't like the USA they don't cut the power off I've seen abandoned places over seas that the homes are literally falling in and still have power

Perhaps too cheap to buy a shower faucet. It reminds me of the old television show "Green Acres". Their telephone was at the top of a telephone pole that Oliver or Lisa Douglas had to climb to answer or make a call. Oliver, he fell off a few times. 👍😁
this house is Def a 1950s house with some changes. Just looking at the front of the house screams 50s, early 60s. The inside layout and features the same.
Nah, I live in Manitoba, where are winters are -30 sometimes. Its against the law to shut the power off in 6 months out of the year. However, if you dont catch up, they will cut you off come april or may.
My home was abandoned for 5 years before we bought it out of foreclosure and when we went in the power had been on the whole time. I think it was partly because they had just left but the village was also surprised that the electric was on the whole time
By some of the light fixtures, curved plaster work at the upstairs ceiling and the roof boards visible in the attic space, I'm thinking back as far as the 50's. This is not an 80's home.
It doesn't need that much work hundred thousand dollars you could probably build your own house I would say do a little to it but 100,000$ you serious? You must be rich. Five to ten thousand would be plenty.
I'm sure this house was built from the late 50s to mid 60s. I grew up in the late 70s and graduated HS in 93. No way was this built in 1980. Updated then maybe, but not a 1980 home.
🤨 someone still owns this property obviously. And the reason that the sink faucet also turns on the shower is because the shower faucet was disabled. So it doesn't have it's own independent on and off mechanism. When water flows to the sink it also flows past the shower and comes out of the shower head
I wouldn't be surprised the part where he points out the keys hook and says "I guess this is where they would hang there keys?" I have the exact same key ring hanger deal from Walmart. Got it 3 years ago which would make sense for it to sit on the market for a bit, have someone buy it, and then renovate it. It hasn't been sitting long

I'm thinking that with hot water shut off at the water heater as he showed and if the hot valve is open in the shower. Turning on the sink faucet in the mid position would let some of the cold water bleed over to the hot line to the shower.
Place is not abandoned at all or creepy, it’s obviously being updated at the moment. Probably had a long-term tenant finally move on from the property. This appears to be a case of trespassing rather than exploring…😬

It is definitely like it is being renovated upstairs. It is way to juce to be abandoned. Maybe in the hospital or not wnough $ yet to finish the renovation
I just gotta say. Are you an interior designer because you think you know so much about it. If it has power why are you worried about it getting dark outside. Weird that you gotta date everything to the 70’s or 80’s. I guess it is because you are so young that those dates seem like a long time ago.
I want to know the history of all “ these empty houses , that still has their belongings still in there ?? “ inquiries mind want to know ??? Why “” ? Is the rest or beginning of the story’s “ behind these houses 🏡 ???
I love house's like that from that time wow that's nice I love it. I truly wish someone would buy it and fix it up it's not like it needs that much work at all really in the backyard is beautiful that place just needs some TLC and some good folks living in it. 👍♥️♥️ Thank you for sharing.

So many homeless people and so many empty houses;what a shame and sad. Prices of rent is so high now adult children have to move back in because they can’t Afford it😢
In some places, unhouses people will just squat in vacant buildings. In Canada, I have seen examples in both Halifax and Vancouver, though there are probably more. In the late-1970s, my Father purchased a long vacant and derelict building from the City as he wanted the land to expand his adjacent business premises. Despite the conditions, the abandoned building was occupied by multiple squatters who had to be evicted.
Genuine question, if you find an abandoned house like this that’s just sitting there in excellent condition and with the power and everything still on and working, wouldn’t you be able to just like, live in it?
And I'm just saying do you ever think about people suing you for trespassing on their property what if somebody still living in there and you walked in there and you get shot I'm just saying
@@GameDjeenie there is worse things then being shot. what if someone was there and they captured them and cut them up slowly every day and cooked and fed themselfs to themselfs. and havested organs. but thats in canada not some 2nd or 3rd world place so probably not too likely that would happen.
To bring a lawsuit for trespassing, someone would have to establish damages. Unless the individual vandalized the premises or stole something, it would be difficult. The local police force laying charges, however, is a much more significant risk. Shooting a trespasser in Canada would definitely result in criminal charges (aggravated assault, manslaughter, or even murder, depending on the consequences).
It really is not all that odd that they leave the power on in places like that, a lot of it has to do with they are trying to keep most people out, burglar repellent.

Be Careful when walking across abandoned properties as there could be an old well you could step and fall into. Especially if the grass is overgrown.
If this place was abandoned, it would be a huge mess. This looks more like a renovation. Place is too clean.

How is the electricity still on? You miss by 2 days here in Florida they send a guy to let you know it's being shut off, water too. Crazy
