well done...for too long thr hobby has had too many elitists and snobs looking down their noses at cheap or budget rc and everything non nitro and that's why all the smoke and fumes and noise that made the hobby so "real" is what got the hobby run out of parks and other easily accessible areas...and thats why the hobby has dwindled...but now its picking up again...because these so called cheap rcs are easily accesible, quietand easy to run almost anywhere and alot of fun because of new technology....the very thing everyone scoffed at is now helping keep the hobby alive and bringing in new people.
Right now the hobby grade drift cars are improving by leaps and bounds. If you have a shop near you stop in and talk to someone. In a lot of cases they have older models like a YDS from Yokomo or MST RMX sitting around collecting dust. 2WD is a lot more fun and once you figure out the gyro set up the drifting is so much more controllable. I do enjoy the Tamiya drifting AWD. I have three.
@@pitdog913 no, it's still one of the best RC drift cars available. I have two and switched to an FXX because I like the natural way it drifts with a front mounted motor. My RMX's are much more docile and easier to drive though. I still recommend them. It's just some guys prefer the Yokomo YD2's.
I was thinking of buying the red cat one and taking off that body and putting a Pandora Honda NSX but I’m not sure if it can fit, so I need your opinion if you think it will fit or not
@@AdventureTimeRC me 2...my 1st car was an 86 rottary engine rx7 my incle sold me for $700....i went to foxwoods with 200$...once i got to $700 i left there and bought....early 2000s ....great times...
Yup this is another part of the hobby I want to get into.. I am feeling more MadRam right now.. lmao .. But I definitely appreciate the comparison. Really like the look of the redcat for sure and for the price? Not bad.. :) Thanks again bud for sharing. and to be honest? If you are in the hobby already? $200 really isn't that bad... lol
Jada's motor is an oddball, about 380 size and flat sided. the car is pretty light, upgraded one with older WLtoys ESC+receiver and steering servo that CAN run 3S, and gave it 1100 mah 3S lipo to same spot as stock battery. lots better running than the stock 2 level speed control and bang-bang steering. doing more wouldn't be worth the time+money IMHO.
Tt02 for the win! I've been thinking about designing some drift tires for my Traxxas 4tec it's just something that needs to be done. Just a bigger version of those ones I sent you. Should provide some pretty good scale traction for drifting.
Man I thought the redcat did really well hard to tell for sure the stance looked lower and wider. But if I were to get one the Tamiya is my first choice seemed smoother and effortless like it wasn't working. then the Redcat Really like it. Thanks for sharing great comparison and review 😄😎🙏
Thanks for Sharing Brother Brent 💯 I've been wondering about the Jada Drifters I've seen on Amazon the power and control... I like my Exceed Drift Stang and TT02 that I've put a set of Drift Tires and New Bright Vette body on is really smooth 😁👉 Nicely Done Video ✌🤠👍 HFLPRCing 👍😎👍 AOAH 🌟 RCF4L 🙏 Stay Safe and Play Healthy Brother
Easiest way to make the jada faster is to over power it. Used to put 9.6 batteries in the nikko nsx rc pre 00, that drifted all by itself so much power
I had the jada toys silvia drift and im an idiot and tossed it sometime long ago 🤦🏻♂️ nice comparisom video, nice to see them run without fancy vidoe editing sometimes.
Your Drifting will ALWAYS be 100X better than mine!!! :P Nice comparison... There's an ongoing and STUPID debate, about as long as the Tamiya pronunciation!! Jada - at least two different camps on that one. Seems like a waste of valuable time.... but, PEOPLE! :X Have a good Week Brent!

Definitely and it has the most options for upgrading to
