how about being able to use your new squidword tracker with a PCVR headset?
XRE is actually better for PCVR. The standalone stuff on it is pretty sparse.

@@HashEdits I second this, openness is great. They dont have to make it work with every headset but they should make the device able to work by itself, not with a specific headset.
@@zerochancem8 I don't know what you mean by work by itself ? It needs windows drivers and to be recognized by Sranipal that's about it

I really like this face tracker, but I rarely use it because it severely narrows the field of view, especially because I need to use two spacers tog et remotely accurate eye tracking. I can't even see the Mic Mute Icon in VRChat with the Face Tracker Attached. I really hope that Vive takes what they've learned here and encorporate it more seamlessly into a headset without sacrificing as much Field of View.
Took away the one that worked on everything to make one that worked for 1 headset 👍
Wish hardware was held to the same standards as OpenXR

Do you guys know the typical stock rate is for the US on the Vive Website? I am getting the headset Wednesday or Friday this week. The Vive Full Face Tracker isn't in stock currently. Only in Japan on amazon... Just wondering when it may stock again or when it typically does.

What is the IPD limits the face tracker can adapt to ?
I know the XRElite can go up to 72 IPD, which is what I need, but does the IPD Auto adjustment go that high ?

Does the lip tracker work on stand alone vrchat? Cuz the quest pro lip tracker doesnt. The eye tracking on quest pro in stand alone vrchat stopped working too. Though they never even had working eye lids on quest pro stand alone..

I wish to buy the VR headset because looking good but I see many reviews and most of the people said that the headset feels uncomfortable and others says that this is a ripoff and I would like to know if you can make another head strap for the headset because I would like to have one of those but not with that head strap I would like to use another head strap for it. 😬

Can you please make any headset or device like the xr elite to be used with base stations? this is the main reason i dont get the new stuff because i cant use my base stations for older trackers/controllers. i want to get this for face and mouth tracking but i refuse to get the XR elite because i cant use my controllers/trackers without external software. Please make it work with base stations.

Can this be used on vive pro?
Absolutely! The Vive Full Face Tracker is compatible with the VIVE XR Elite, allowing you to enhance your virtual reality experiences.
Does it work with glasses?
No it won't work with glasses
It does with the MR gasket.
The VIVE XR Elite has built-in diopters that you can adjust to fit the prescription of each individual eye. This means you will not need your glasses. Let us know if you have any other question by reaching out in the DMs on Instagram 😀
@@HTCVive unless you have astigmatism, the diopters don't help with that. I had to get custom lens attachments, but those won't work with the face tracker attachment.

Yo, I'm a POC, your old mouth tracker you guys discontinued, doesn't properly function right. My lower lip is treated like my tongue, I hope this new one doesn't have the same problem.

When will it come out for usa?
It did, its just that its not in stock in the US. It was last in stock somewhere around April 19th. Just gotta wait on week days and hope that it comes in sometime soon or get it from Japan on amazon.... That shipping alone takes 17 days or more

Also the gasket for the face tracker gets really hot, my forehead got numb sometimes and it crushes my nose

oh a diopter. iam shortsighted! what a grea.... oh only up to -6, and no astigmatism correction from the looks of it.. well then its useless to me, but it still extra cost

@@HTCVive sorry, iam not an optician, cant say how to do it. just that having a diopter is a really nice feature, but if youre at -7dpt with -1,25 astigmatism on both side, the offer isnt enough for me and any person, thats above -6dpt. and i get, that the number of people in the upper ranges gets smaler, yet its disappointing to see, that the support stops right before you start
I wanted to get a Vive Face Tracker addon, but since HTC discontinued it I can't now, unless I buy a whole new headset! So yeah nah, hard pass on this. HTC open up your ecosystem or leave. Also the software was never good.

Yeah I second this, I got my headset pretty cheap on a sale. Got the Vive XR Elite on Amazon for 800 instead of 1099. Just gotta keep an eye out an dthis is for any headset really.
