Gosh wow it's awesome that VRChat and Vive worked so closely to add face tracking ha ha it's not like everything you showed required community software that took a bunch of volunteers thousands of hours to create and support ha ha
Its really interesting but i am still disappointed that the meta quest pro headset is the only one capable of tracking eyebrow movements which is quintessential for facial expression
Too be honest, what interests me most is the fact that comfort changes when the face mask is changed. So yes, I'm getting a package myself that's arriving soon. Functionally I'm very impressed with how good the updates have made this headset, but that may just be a personal thing, if a head seat isn't really comfortable enough I think that's a big downside. I know there are many people who are also capable of inventing things themselves, but that's not an option for me. I would rather buy or get my hands on original things that impress me.
Congrats on your purchase! Comfort is indeed crucial for a satisfying experience, and it's wonderful to know that you appreciate the updates that have been made to enhance it. If you ever have any questions or need assistance with your new headset, feel free to reach out. Enjoy your immersive experiences!
That's an interesting suggestion! While dynamic foveated rendering is a promising technology for optimizing VR performance, its compatibility and implementation with the XR Elite would depend on various factors, including hardware capabilities and software integration. We're continuously exploring innovative features and enhancements for our products, so your feedback is valuable as we strive to improve the XR experience. Stay tuned for any updates on this front!

I can't tell if the headset looks more like a plague mask, a viking helmet or a villager
Weevil
I'd say more like cyberpunk goggles
@@zoeysa711 sure, but they look a bit silly with the nose

We are incredibly grateful to the VRC Face Tracking community. They have helped shape the industry and continue to do amazing work ✨❤️
Can you have prescription lenses using the face tracker?

Is Foveated rendering automatic if you have eye tracking? Or does something needs to be done to take advantage of it
It's super limited support and will not work for most software at all.
Openxr toolkit is your best bet but also quite limited.
Does it work with quest 3 + PCVR?
We are continuously working on expanding compatibility, so stay tuned for future updates.
@@HTCVive thank you
You got spend about 2,000 to get full immersion i think im go for the quest pro whit vive tracker could work with the quest.
Will this fit the pro2?
The VIVE Full Face Tracker works with the VIVE XR Elite only. Happy face tracking! 😀

Sometimes I want face tracking so I can kiss people in vrchat
Wow ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤. Techfan from tweeter ❤❤❤
Another use case for face tracking would be dynamic foveated rendering though not sure if and how it would work with XR elite
