    There are so many UA-cam videos on this subject that it is crazy. I appreciate your technique because it is so simple and easy compared to all those others with varying complexity and complicated things to accomplish the same thing. Thank you so much! :-)

    Thank you so much. I checked other videos and they were so complex and very difficult to repeat for a beginner, but your method is super clear and easy. Good work!

    Awesome!!! I am so grateful to have found you. It works!. I looked at other videos, but they didn't work and I wouldn't have figured this out on my own. Believe me I tried on one project countless times. So, thanks very much for sharing this easy, straight forward technique.

    Great video - thank you!
    When would you do a continuous round vs a new round (slip stitch and then chain 1)? If a pattern called for the latter, would it make a difference if I just did a continuous round?

    • @PookieDoodleCrafts
      @PookieDoodleCrafts  9 місяців тому

      The main time would be when working stripes, if it was a pattern in one colour the slip st and ch is fine. 👍

    After you joined changing color and making the 1 chain. where do I make the next single crochet in the same first space of the changing color or in the next stitch? Thanks you very much for this tutorial.

    Very good explanation! So, the slip stitch counts as the first stitch of the next round?

    • @PookieDoodleCrafts
      @PookieDoodleCrafts  4 роки тому +1

      Yes, it's always a good idea to count your stitches from time to time too as it's easy to miss a stitch and go wrong.

    Hello. For the joined rounds, where do you put the marker for the new round after you change colour? In the chain 1 or in 1st sc /dc you make? I am wondering as I'm not sure how you would change back to the blue colour.

    • @jaywilcox6907
      @jaywilcox6907 6 років тому

      I've just tried this and put my marker in the slip stitch as she says that it will be your first stitch

    • @emichrs
      @emichrs 6 років тому

      @@jaywilcox6907 would I do the same for continuous rounds, in the slip stitch?

    • @jaywilcox6907
      @jaywilcox6907 6 років тому

      Emily Rhodes - no, sc all stitches in subsequent rounds, only slip stitch the very first stitch.

    • @PookieDoodleCrafts
      @PookieDoodleCrafts  7 років тому +4

      Hi Jacqueline, I didn't know that it was possible to add subtitles. I will look into it and if possible I will. I am always keen to be inclusive :)

    • @finngirl4021
      @finngirl4021 3 роки тому

      You can turn on subtitles within UA-cam. I know this comment is from 3 years ago, so maybe things were different then. But there is a closed caption option (the little CC in the upper right corner) for those who need it.
