This is an amazing video in so many ways. I've spent the past 3 days looking for a solution to my problem and finally I found it! Not only is your footage of crocheting extremely clear, you're a natural performer. The intro is concise and shows your joy for teaching crocheting. Please continue to make videos like this, so, SO helpful!
Very well done- you speak clearly, at a good pace and without a lot of useless blather, or annoying music and noise in background. lighting and Camara angle really good, demo and tips excellent. THANK YOU ! Please make more, you’re a real pro!
I've watched several videos on this and this is the *only* video I found that was so well-explained! You're such a patient and incredible teacher! I wish I stumbled on this before my recent project, but at least my uneven line is going to be hidden for this project. But my next? I'm using this technique! And your demeanour really brightened my morning! :D I needed that bright spot to my day!
Al fin alguien se tomó el trabajo y la paciencia de explicarlo súper bien para nosotras las principiantes, lo he comprendido y no es mi idioma, gracias, gracias.
Life saver! Just ripped out hours of work on a yoga mat bag because the pattern was so ugly not lining up and the instructions never explained how to make this right. THANK YOU! Once more into the fray!
This is a wonderful technique. Am using it in a Japanese Knot Bag with stripes and I love it - no jogs! Can’t wait to use it in my amigurumi projects. What a game changer. Thank you.
OMG! You're just a genious! I'm crocheting my first amigurumi and I wasn't pleased with the change colour, but your tutorial is so easy and the result so perfect! It is absolutely unnoticiable!
Thank you. Fabulous teacher!!! extremely well done, easy to follow, instructions clear, visuals clearly presented. Thank you. I will watch everyday as a reminder.
Thank you,you have been very helpful, I’m just starting out, I have been a victim of abuse, and your use of this word does not bother me in the least, I am looking forward to learning more from you in the future. I like the way you take your time to explain, thank you again and have a very happy and save new year

Thanks a lot, you're the best one in explaning how to change the colors. I had a look to different videos, but could not find one with a real invisible change. Now I am happy and I can continue with my work. Sorry for bad english. 😘
Really enjoyed your video. I've been crocheting for 16 years and have never liked the continuous spiral patterns people create for amigurumi besides for heads. I'm constantly "fixing" patterns I find to fit my own opinion of what looks better. Nice to see someone who also thinks "outside the box" and has so much experience. :)
As I can't speak or write English, I used the Google translator. I apologize for the errors. Just to thank and congratulate your explanation of the "famous step" in crochet work where colors are changed. It was the best explanation I found. Thank you from Brazil.
Thank you for this video! I've watched a couple other 'invisible' colour change videos but they all seemed so complicated... your method is really simple and easy to do! xx

Thank you for making this video. Sometimes you just have to go that extra mile in order to get the look that you want instead of "oh well". Many years ago a kind crocheter quickly taught me how to join the rows on a hat that I was doing. I had never thought about what she taught me in minutes (on the bus). I never forgot that lesson because I had made dozens of hats without doing the invisible join. I also saw how to decrease without leaving a gaping hole in the work. I laughed and laughed at how I decreased, but, it did work, it's just that it didn't look perfect and you could see what was done real easy. I'm a visual learner and these videos are just what the doctor ordered. You helped to bring back my joy of crocheting. Thank you again for sharing with us.

I absolutely love your video. It has helped me tremendously. I still need to refine it but I am really pleased with the difference it’s made in my amigurumi.
Thank you for that very clear explanation. I'm teaching myself to crochet and have already taken a hate for those jagged lines you get from colour changes. Thanks to you, I'm gonna look like a pro!
Very detailed. Thank you for repeating so many times! You do it enough times so I can really GET it, not just see it.👍 Your crochet is really art. New subscriber!

Your techniques are absolutely amazing! I’ve been crocheting for a while and a lot of online info and videos goes through the same 5-10 tips. But I haven’t heard your tips anywhere and they are so great!
You're very welcome. I think it might have something to do with my age, lol. I'm 64 and part of my learning came from little old Ladies about 50 years ago. So these aren't new. Just very old and almost forgotten. :-)
This is one of the best crochet channels out there. I have been wracking my little beginner brain for the last couple of days wondering why some channels recommend a circle join while others don’t and now I know !!!! Thank you !!!!🙏
I cannot thank you enough for this video! I was making Christmas Gnomes for my Daughter-in-law for Christmas. The legs are circular striped red and green, the pattern calls for continuous rounds. When it came to the legs I was lamenting over how messy they looked with the jaggedness. I was going through videos and yours came up. My Daughter-in law may be getting her present late but with your help it went from ho hum to awesome. Thank you again!

Just purchased my first book on tapestry crochet and I am finally getting the courage to start. Your tutorial made it easy for me to see the difference between a visible and an invisible join. Loved the bobby pin, I use paper clips. Keep the videos coming.
Your first book on tapestry crochet, what an adventure. Be careful or you'll be hooked for life, lol. I'm glad I was able to help. The bobby pin started decades ago. Bread wrapper closing tabs work pretty well too. :-)

I didn't know that you are the change the color guru, I have been waiting for 45 years. I'm suddenly embarrassed to say that but I thank you too much for it. Because I would make a really pretty amigurumi or what not, and I was so unhappy with the lalaloopy of colors lol.🙏

Good morning Sandy, I just came across your channel. I absolutely love you already 😘 your so pleasant to listen to. I look forward to seeing more of your work.😍😍😍 Have a fabulous day. 😗
Thank you so much for such a great tutorial Sandy-Maree. In answer to your questions, I mainly crochet amigurumi so the majority of my crochet is in the round. However, I am learning to make mochila bags and your tutorial has made my colour changes so much neater!!
Thank you so much! I'm making my first amigurumi mini pig! For my father in law for his birthday! It's back and white and I've never needed to do the perfect color change before! Looks complicated but you make it so simple with ur directions!! Greatly appreciated 💜
I have been crocheting for 35 years and always hated the color change on the row change I hate how it looks I also don’t like how when you do it that way the starting point for the row moves this keeps it straight thank you so much for this
It was one of the times I was out and about with a crochet project, I needed a stitch marker, I had bobby pins in my hair, LOL. Been using them ever since.
Actually, yarning under instead of over is also one way to control the slant of the stitch on joining, so your surgery is serendipitous for showing the better way to stitch for no-show seams!! Thank you for the really clear explanation!
Yes it is. And, going back through my VERY OLD (hehe) notes also reminded me that to yarn under is called a Square Single Crochet, so it's a real stitch, lol. Thank YOU for pointing it out {{{hugs}}}
Ohhhhh My Goodness this is One of the Best instructions I have found in a long time❣❣❣Thank You Soooooo Much for your Time and Love of Crochet❤ To teach us how to do the Perfect Looking Creations ❤❤ You Are a 😇💝💗💓💐⚘👏👏👏👏👏👏
Just want to say that you explained things very clearly. I hadn't come across the circle join before, handy to know for future projects! I'm going to watch your other videos for more useful crochet tips. Thank you.
You remind me of my mother with your mannerisms. Once, when we first had 8mm home movies, the sound went out on the projector. Then we realized my mother's hands were going up and down, back and forth, and she looked like she was doing sign language. Same as you. You made me miss her. Sooo much. It's a good kind of miss. She loved me and i knew it.
Thank you for this video! Your instruction is nice and clear , I had not heard of the close circle stitch. This does make a nicer appearance in a hat I am going to try this tip next.!

You are very welcome, Randi. I'm glad this helped you. Happiest of Holiday's to you as well.
Thank you so much for such a great tutorial Sandy-Maree. In answer to your questions, I mainly crochet amigurumi so the majority of my crochet is in the round. However, I am learning to make mochila bags and your tutorial has made my colour changes so much neater!!
You're Welcome. I love crochet in the round. I'm so glad this has helped you.
Thank you so much! I'm making my first amigurumi mini pig! For my father in law for his birthday! It's back and white and I've never needed to do the perfect color change before! Looks complicated but you make it so simple with ur directions!! Greatly appreciated 💜
You are very welcome. :-)

I have been crocheting for 35 years and always hated the color change on the row change I hate how it looks I also don’t like how when you do it that way the starting point for the row moves this keeps it straight thank you so much for this
Talented LADY! WOW!
Thank you, :-)
Using a bobby pin like that is so creative!
It was one of the times I was out and about with a crochet project, I needed a stitch marker, I had bobby pins in my hair, LOL. Been using them ever since.
ive tried so many different color change tutorial, and in so glad i watched this one. I finally got it!
I'm SO GLAD this one helped you.
Actually, yarning under instead of over is also one way to control the slant of the stitch on joining, so your surgery is serendipitous for showing the better way to stitch for no-show seams!! Thank you for the really clear explanation!
Yes it is. And, going back through my VERY OLD (hehe) notes also reminded me that to yarn under is called a Square Single Crochet, so it's a real stitch, lol. Thank YOU for pointing it out {{{hugs}}}
The best one I have yet!
Well thank you :-) You've made my day 😊
I just learn so,thing new thanx to you and i have been crocheting for 50 years big hugs from Sweeden ;0)

Just want to say that you explained things very clearly. I hadn't come across the circle join before, handy to know for future projects! I'm going to watch your other videos for more useful crochet tips. Thank you.
You're very welcome. Glad I could help.
You made me smile. THANK YOU. It's good to know that I warmed someone's heart. {{{hugs}}}
