    This is an amazing video in so many ways. I've spent the past 3 days looking for a solution to my problem and finally I found it! Not only is your footage of crocheting extremely clear, you're a natural performer. The intro is concise and shows your joy for teaching crocheting. Please continue to make videos like this, so, SO helpful!

    I've watched several videos on this and this is the *only* video I found that was so well-explained! You're such a patient and incredible teacher! I wish I stumbled on this before my recent project, but at least my uneven line is going to be hidden for this project. But my next? I'm using this technique! And your demeanour really brightened my morning! :D I needed that bright spot to my day!

    Really enjoyed your video. I've been crocheting for 16 years and have never liked the continuous spiral patterns people create for amigurumi besides for heads. I'm constantly "fixing" patterns I find to fit my own opinion of what looks better. Nice to see someone who also thinks "outside the box" and has so much experience. :)

    Your technique borders on Genius. My only regret is, I wish I'd seen your video years ago. Colour changes have always been a rather big obstacle to overcome, and I've ALWAYS tripped over where the colour changes are in my finished project. I LOVE THIS BRILLIANT AND HOBBY CHANGING SOLUTION! I now cruise through the changes with your technique and ABSOLUTELY love the final result! A BIG THANK YOU to you! BTW I love your voice. It's perfect and very pleasant. Easy to understand too. Also, no "fluff" added---goes right to the subject!👍👍👍👍👍

    Thank you for making this video. Sometimes you just have to go that extra mile in order to get the look that you want instead of "oh well". Many years ago a kind crocheter quickly taught me how to join the rows on a hat that I was doing. I had never thought about what she taught me in minutes (on the bus). I never forgot that lesson because I had made dozens of hats without doing the invisible join. I also saw how to decrease without leaving a gaping hole in the work. I laughed and laughed at how I decreased, but, it did work, it's just that it didn't look perfect and you could see what was done real easy. I'm a visual learner and these videos are just what the doctor ordered. You helped to bring back my joy of crocheting. Thank you again for sharing with us.

    Thank you for this invisible join, have been wanting to get rid of the jagged join in spiral crocheting! I am also hoping to perfect colour columns in the spiral crocheting, just does not work on the spiral , it just no longer looks like columns

    I didn't know that you are the change the color guru, I have been waiting for 45 years. I'm suddenly embarrassed to say that but I thank you too much for it. Because I would make a really pretty amigurumi or what not, and I was so unhappy with the lalaloopy of colors lol.🙏

    Actually, yarning under instead of over is also one way to control the slant of the stitch on joining, so your surgery is serendipitous for showing the better way to stitch for no-show seams!! Thank you for the really clear explanation!

    • @CrochetFiberArt
      @CrochetFiberArt  5 років тому

      Yes it is. And, going back through my VERY OLD (hehe) notes also reminded me that to yarn under is called a Square Single Crochet, so it's a real stitch, lol. Thank YOU for pointing it out {{{hugs}}}

    You remind me of my mother with your mannerisms. Once, when we first had 8mm home movies, the sound went out on the projector. Then we realized my mother's hands were going up and down, back and forth, and she looked like she was doing sign language. Same as you. You made me miss her. Sooo much.
