Your reaction was on point! Those improvs were impeccable and drove the emotional landscape of the song. They had another brother that was a solo artist with a similar voice named Andy.
Oh this brings back such wholesome vibes from my young childhood. My older sister and I had the Bee Gees on vinyl. So nice to see a new generation appreciate their beautiful music. Incredibly talented brothers.
The Bee Gees are one of the greatest groups in history. The catalog of music they created is extensive. In his prime, Barry Gibb was one of the greatest singers ever. The Bee Gees often performed their hits acapella, in a tv studio or radio station, and Barry would hit those notes without any problem. He is one of my favorite singers of all time, and I am glad you can appreciate the talents of the Bee Gees, one of the greatest ever! Nice reaction!!!
Barry is my favourite singers of all time although right after him come those with the raspy voices (Chris Norman, Rod Stewart, Damiano David) but Barry's voice has everything, high, deep, sometimes a bit rough, strong, smooth and above all sooo velvety. I don't know anyone else with so many different facets in their voice!!!
I was waiting to see your expression when they sang. They are one of the top 5 selling groups of all time. Tons of song. Barry has a very powerful voice. Of course his falsetto is off the charts. Great musicians as well.

What fascinated me so much is that Robin is obviously having fun - he is grinning several times and Maurice is smiling at the end of the song too. I have been watching the brothers since 1968 and I have always noticed that they are having a great anf funny time.
'How Deep Is Your Love' is a good example of their normal voices. It and 'Stayin' Alive are on the 'Saturday Night Fever' movie soundtrack. And 'Nights On Broadway, (the Midnight Special TV show live performance is the best) is a fast, rockin' song. It shows Barry's guitar playing and Maurice's bass prowess. Over 1,000 songs...enjoy!
Go back to their beginnings as children performing on Australian television. They went through several distinct periods. The body of work they put together from the late six through the early 70s was extraordinary in itself.

You need to do more Bee Gees reaction. I was in the 9th grade (2009) when i first became a fan of them (although I'm well aware of who they are due to growing up in a Filipino household where i listened to the same song my parents listened to) im now 28 and still a fan. Their music catalogue is a rabbit hole that would keep you making content for a long time listening and reacting to them
Thanks, Aaliyah.. there is no better harmony/connection that that between family... oldest brother Barry is the lead, here.. but they each had unique voices, and any one of those boys could hit those "falsettos" on any day of the week.. I hope you listen to more by them... especially some live performances... (please, featuring Robin!) appreciate your reaction!
Sorry this is a little long... You’d be very surprised when you hear Barry’s regular voice. He has a big range! The Brothers Gibb (Barry, the oldest & lead here); and fraternal twins Robin, no beard, and Maurice - pronounced Morris). They started singing in 1958-2003. Barry is the only one still living today. He celebrated his 78th birthday and 54th wedding anniversary on 9/1/24. The Bee Gees were MEGA stars back in the day. In this song they were singing in their falsetto (high) voices, but this was not their regular singing voices. And they wrote ALL their own songs. At one point in their career they released 6 straight #1 songs in a row. They were: 1. How Deep Is Your Love (mostly regular voices) 2. Staying Alive (just about everyone on the planet has heard this song in movies) (falsetto) 3. Night Fever (All these 3 were from the Saturday Night Fever movie Soundtrack (falsetto) 4. Tragedy (falsetto) 5. Too Much Heaven (falsetto) - you just did this one 6. Love you inside out (falsetto) So all of those are a must to react to. But they had hits before and after that streak. Here are others that are my favorites that you have to react to: 1. You Should Be Dancing (falsetto) 2. Jive Talking (live 1975 Midnight Special) (regular voice) 3. More than a woman(falsetto) 4. Nights on Broadway (live 1975 Midnight Special) (regular voice) 5. Love So Right (falsetto) 6. You Win Again (1987 Dutch TV countdown show) (regular voice) 7. Wind of Change (1975 live Midnight Special) (regular voices) And these are just the songs THEY SUNG! They wrote, played instruments, sung background and produced for OTHER ARTISTS, so please do some of these: 1. Emotions (Samantha Sang) 2. Immortality (Celine Dion live 1997 Vegas) 3. Islands in the Stream (Kenny Rogers/Dolly Pardons) 4. Woman in Love, Guilty, What Kind of Fool (Barbra Streisand) 5. Heartbreaker (Dionne Warwick 6. Chain Reaction (Diana Ross) 7. If I Can't Have You (Yvonne Elliman) 8. Grease (Frankie Valli) 9. Any Andy Gibb record (he was their little brother and had a great solo career)
The recording process was the longest of all the tracks on Spirits Having Flown as there are nine layers of three-part harmony, creating 27 voices, though the high falsetto voices are the most pronounced in the final mix: Barry on falsetto lead three times falsetto high harmony three times falsetto low harmony three times Barry on natural voice lead three times high harmony three times low harmony three times Barry, Robin and Maurice together on lead three times high harmony three times low harmony three times The fact that there are this many vocal layers on this song but when you listen to it, it sounds like one person's voice just layered multiple time is amazing This is probably the reason why this song is so pleasing to the ears and why it's so easy to listen to. It's probably because of this lengthy recording process. Source: Wikipedia
Hi Aaliyah, I saw a funny skit where Bee Gees impersonators were in a studio recording. Their voices sounded low and horrible so the engineer came out and kicked them all between the legs and they then had perfect high pitch. It was hilarious. 😂 Even though it was joking about their high voices, I’ve always enjoyed The Bee Gees.
Great music and reaction 🎵👍 I love the Bee Gees and they wrote almost all the music themself. Talking about a high male voice: maybe you should also make a reaction vid on David Phelps, o holy night live.
The Bee Gees had a younger brother Andy Gibb who was not part of the group. He had a solo career. His older brother Barry wrote all of his songs. Andy's song Shadow Dancing was the #1 song in 1978. Sadly Andy died 5 days after his 30th birthday on March 10, 1988.
Just wanted to add that the Beegees career, contrary to what you read, did not end in the late 70s.Their career spanned five decades, during which the Gibb brothers wrote over a thousand songs in many different genres both for themselves and other artists.Amongst their many honours, they are in both the Songwriters and Rock and Roll Halls of Fame.Disco plays such a very small part of their music..
Sibling harmonies being so in sync even with vibrato and slides seems more about them growing up talking and singing together than about genetics. Other prominent acts that relied on sibling harmonies were the Everly Brothers, the Lennon Sisters, and the Andrews Sisters. Of course, the Bee Gees are pretty unique in combining sibling harmonies with falsetto voices. If you like the use of falsetto in songs you might also check out Eddie Holman, the Stylistics, and Aaron Neville / the Neville Brothers.

Check out "Teenage Dirtbag" by Wheatus. There's a verse where it 's from the POV of the female subject of the song. The vocalist goes to a high register during that part.
Their impact and history within the music world! I hope you have enough time to go deeply into their musical contributions. Check out their top hits. Enjoy!
I enjoyed your reaction. You obviously know good singing since you are one yourself. The Bee Gees were my favorite musical group for many decades. Currently my favorite is a K-Pop group, BTS. Try reacting to their songs since you probably will get many more subscribers since they have the biggest fan base today. My favorite member in BTS is a guy who goes by the name, Jin. Do a reaction of his song, Epiphany, the live version. Also, since you seem to like all kinds of genre of music like myself, do a reaction of a song called She's Gone by a heavy metal group, Steel Heart. The vocalist of that group has one of the most incredible set of pipes.
That's Barry's head voice, believe it or not. Everyone refers to it as falsetto, but you can easily see from his support and posture that's it's not. Amazing range.
The story is that this was a rehearsal. They figured that it wasn’t going to get better than this so they kept this version which they donated all of the profits to UNICEF.
Haha, there was a younger brother, Andy. I believe the plan was for him to pursue a solo career and then join his brothers in The Bee Gees. Andy and Barry sounded very much alike. Unfortunately, Andy got caught up in the dark side of the industry and died at a young age. His death nearly destroyed Barry. Andy had a couple of big hits, though. I Want to be Your Everything was really big. I will look for it and link it to you. ua-cam.com/video/VkNeoTcGwrc/v-deo.htmlsi=8dZLUJ7ccAU6s09O

Listen to their younger brother Andy and see if you think it's genetic. Personally I definitely think so. Andy Gibb on the Midnight Special singing, I Just Wanna Be Your Everything. You need to hear them when they aren't singing in falsetto.
My all-time favorite Bee Gees song! Barry's voice is so angelic, and those harmonies are beyond beautiful! 😇
That's the beauty of sibling harmonies. Their voices are similar, yet still different.
Beautiful I was 20 when this song was released The best music was in the 70's.

(All these 3 were from the Saturday Night Fever movie Soundtrack (falsetto)
4. Tragedy (falsetto)
5. Too Much Heaven (falsetto) - you just did this one
6. Love you inside out (falsetto)
So all of those are a must to react to. But they had hits before and after that streak. Here are others that are my favorites that you have to react to:
1. You Should Be Dancing (falsetto)
2. Jive Talking (live 1975 Midnight Special) (regular voice)
3. More than a woman(falsetto)
4. Nights on Broadway (live 1975 Midnight Special) (regular voice)

7. Wind of Change (1975 live Midnight Special) (regular voices)

1. Emotions (Samantha Sang)
2. Immortality (Celine Dion live 1997 Vegas)
3. Islands in the Stream (Kenny Rogers/Dolly Pardons)
4. Woman in Love, Guilty, What Kind of Fool (Barbra Streisand)
5. Heartbreaker (Dionne Warwick
6. Chain Reaction (Diana Ross)
7. If I Can't Have You (Yvonne Elliman)
8. Grease (Frankie Valli)
9. Any Andy Gibb record (he was their little brother and had a great solo career)
You were right!
The recording process was the longest of all the tracks on Spirits Having Flown as there are nine layers of three-part harmony, creating 27 voices, though the high falsetto voices are the most pronounced in the final mix:
Barry on falsetto lead three times
falsetto high harmony three times
falsetto low harmony three times
Barry on natural voice lead three times
high harmony three times
low harmony three times
Barry, Robin and Maurice together on lead three times
high harmony three times
low harmony three times
The fact that there are this many vocal layers on this song but when you listen to it, it sounds like one person's voice just layered multiple time is amazing
This is probably the reason why this song is so pleasing to the ears and why it's so easy to listen to. It's probably because of this lengthy recording process.

Who would have thought those Aussies would falsely claim a group of Pommie lads as their own….desperate if you ask me.
@gavinmcleod7446 Who'd thunk it?....hold on, AC/DC, John Farnham, and even ONJ, God bless her.
Still, Australia have produced INXS and Sherbert....HOWZAT!!
@@Topgooner01 You forgot Jason Donovan 🙄 . Leave our British lads alone .
Clearly, too many to mention 🤣🤣

I really enjoyed your reaction. I was wondering if you wouldn’t mind spending a few more moments at the end expressing your feelings about the performance and perhaps some analysis notes. Cheers. God Bless!
Check out "Teenage Dirtbag" by Wheatus. There's a verse where it 's from the POV of the female subject of the song. The vocalist goes to a high register during that part.
The Brothers Gibb. ❤
Im so so happy you loved it, they dont make romantic music like this anymore, dont you agree? Incredible voices and believe it or not No Synthesizer.
Their impact and history within the music world! I hope you have enough time to go deeply into their musical contributions. Check out their top hits. Enjoy!
RIP Maurice and Robin ❤
Now you should listen to their little brother Andy sing
The story is that this was a rehearsal. They figured that it wasn’t going to get better than this so they kept this version which they donated all of the profits to UNICEF.
Haha, there was a younger brother, Andy. I believe the plan was for him to pursue a solo career and then join his brothers in The Bee Gees. Andy and Barry sounded very much alike. Unfortunately, Andy got caught up in the dark side of the industry and died at a young age. His death nearly destroyed Barry. Andy had a couple of big hits, though. I Want to be Your Everything was really big. I will look for it and link it to you.

A song that starts with the chorus. Same as Judas Priest " Living After Midnight"
Hello my favorite young lady the most beautiful 20 year old walking the Earth you know my metalhead I did like some of these guys songs they had talent can sing well put the Bee gees can't get this high you've reacted to Judas Priest before he hits a note cutie that sopranos a lot of sopranos cannot get and that's a c sharp 6 when a soprano can't hit it and a male does that's insane
Listen to their younger brother Andy and see if you think it's genetic. Personally I definitely think so. Andy Gibb on the Midnight Special singing, I Just Wanna Be Your Everything.
You need to hear them when they aren't singing in falsetto.
I was wondering when you were going to react to this song.
thissong was made for unicef by the beegees, and has raised $7 million so far for unicef,
The song's proceeds were given to UNICEF. It wasn't made for UNICEF.
