Mark D. Copoulos discusses Section 9-811 of the Philadelphia Landlord and Tenant Code, which requires Landlords to submit for an Eviction Diversion Mediation prior to filing an eviction in Philadelphia, PA.
The ordinance was signed into law on January 10, 2022. The new requirement is likely to extend the time frame to process an eviction from three to four months to about six months.

hi so me and my landlord went through mediation via the EDP and we came to a written agreement i have honored everything on my end and have been paying consistently since the written agreement yet i am still being sued still what are my options to fight this because im actively trying to resolve this debt and my landlord is not understanding
