Ashley: Your videos are really a comfort and joy for me. I'm unable to garden outside anymore, and now our house is becoming a large, leafy garden. Your charming attitude, self-deprecating humor and knowledge of interesting plants has been such a huge help. I have even gone back to watch your earlier videos when there isn't a new one out. Your comment today about having a tough time and getting outside just to feel better is so spot on. And I know you lost one of your fur babies recently, and my heart breaks for you. I try to send you a little cosmic positive energy everyday. I'm sorry for whatever is worrying you currently, and just know that for all the smiles and joy and entertainment you've brought us, I'm sure we can send back to you, too. I wish you the best, and take care of yourself.
White wizard is white and green leaves with all white stems. White knight has green and white leaves with purple and white stems. White princess white, green, and pink leaves with pink and white stems.
“I feel like this is gonna be a over budget but worth it video” girl me & my boyfriend giggled because that’s so relatable. 😭😭i would have the same reaction as you at the beginning I get sooo excited seeing new plants in person. I live in arizona though, so it’s so hard to keep plants happy with such dry, hot weather.
I have recently came across your channel and have watched so many of your videos. I’m new to houseplants but so far loving the therapy it brings to me. Enjoy your channel so much 🤍
Had a Blast Ashley i tought you would hve gotten the Hanging Basket of the begonia it was so beautiful but yeah I would of spent a fortune that place rocks 😊❤ thank for sharing
Thank you Ashley. For letting me know about this place. I was in Love, the people there are awesome. I found some good deals on Hoyas. And just so you know I mentioned you and they knew right away who you are 😊. God Bless.
I just added a pink birkin to my collection about a month ago and I purchased it as a starter plant. I did some research prior to purchasing it because i did not want to get sucked into a pink congo situation. from what I have researched it is a new hybrid, new leaves will start out pink with the same stripes as regular birkins and will eventually harden off to green and dark green as the leaf ages. Mine is still new and still a baby so I am excited to see how it matures!
I recently got a baby too! I love my birkin so no matter what I think I’ll be happy with however it turns out. My Birkin is probably my easiest plant in my huge collection.
Lots of lovely plants. Great store. We have Mississauga greenhouse that’s really nice but small plants mostly which I love because they are so perfect with no bugs. Great greenhouse.
Going plant shopping (or even plant window shopping!) always makes me feel better. Love this video! I just found your channel today and subscribed! Thank you for sharing
Wow. All of those Philos made my heart skip a beat! I have a Lynette and it is gorgeous. I really would like to have a Dark Lord. Never have seen one in the wild.
Back in April I bought a little 3 leaf plant on clearance for $3. It didn’t have a label and the lady in the tropical department couldn’t remember what it was but thought it was a type of philodendron. I’ve been trying to google it and haven’t had any luck so I messaged the place I got it from, told them all the details of when I got it and what it was doing now and sent a picture of it. They said it was a red arrow syngonium. I googled it and they’re right!
I kept my copper plant indoors under lights during the winter ( Chicago). They lost some leaves but kept putting out new leaves. I kept it wet. Survived the indoors and just moved it out this week.
I got mine at Walmart $20 and white knight age be if I had a bunch at least he said you should keep it in the eastern the area so that’s where it is it was in the front afternoon sun but they say you should do in the morning sun South send
Hi Ashley, that’s one great nursery, a few of the prices are hit and miss, but all the plants seem happy and healthy 🥰. I have a pink birkin for about 6 months now, very easy care, and they are a thing😉🤣, I was skeptical when I first bought it( 24.99 at my local nursery here on Long Island). Still watching so I can’t wait to see what our crazy plant lady picks up🌿🪴🪴 I’m sorry that you are stressed out, I hope everything is ok and improving, and definitely can relate. Plants are great for decompressing and just getting out to be among them really can be a game changer. Hugs🫶
Just watching and that silvery leaf you commented on being delicate appears to be a silver dichondra commonly called silver falls, used frequently as spellers in outdoor/landscaping flower pots, I had a few of them last year they had full blast morning sun against a white house and dried put virtually every day and just kept going, I'd imagine as a house plant they'd do well
Wow, so many beauties! I don't think you could have picked anything better than the Anthurium Pterodactyl, I'm adding it to my very long wish list! Thanks for another great plant tour.
Loved the video. Watched to the end. And yes I’m planning on buying a zebra. I saw a grown one online and really liked it. I do have the pink zebra Cali and love that. Also love pink plants. Found a great one today at Terra but checked the leaves and tons of eggs and webs. Not going to Terra again because they don’t care for their plants at all. It’s such a shame. I do really like Mississauga. Greenhouse much better or just Home Depot or lowes.
I live in the Greenville SC area, and just happened to find one small hanging basket of syngonium wendlanii at a Home Depot for $20 and didn’t have to think twice about snatching it up. I’ve not seen any more since. I may have to plan a trip to Oakdale soon 😊
Thank you Ashley for this amazing plant tour the Hoyas and the fishbone cactus were my favorites. I was in love with all the plants your haul was also a good one.
I miss living in Raleigh and being close to so many greenhouses and working at one. But, I'm trying to limit my consumption which is such a huge and undiscussed issue in the plant world. I worked at a greenhouse in Raleigh where I had 70% off common, uncommon, and supplies so it was much more affordable. Now, I have things shipped from private sellers in NC and it gets so pricey. I found my plants highly preferred rainwater versus filtered so I did a DIY rain barrel. I love my blizzard- my friend sent me one from Raleigh. Parieso verde variegate more with temperature versus light :)
🥰♥️🪴🪴lovely your vids are so epicly awesome thumbs way up… now I’m going to my area nurseries after buying 4 plants this week already. Lol totally identified when you mentioned what happens to that one plant 💭😂
First I have to say your going to love that weylandii it’s really a great plant and a fast grower. I love mine and I didn’t even know I wanted it when I bought it online. I would if bought that double half moon white wizard. You just don’t see plants like that around here! And that’s a good price. I also would of gotten a new pothos snow queen. I had lush one but it died back. I think it’s the prettiest pothos. I love the anthurium you got. I do love those shape leaves but I have so many calathea & don’t have enough to take of another needy high humidity plants. I only live a state away and REALLY want to visit Oakdale. Each time you’ve gone there the selection has been to die for.
Thanks for this!!! Been stressed myself lately & going to different plant shopping videos. Love the Pothos, Snake Plants, Jade Plants, Scindapsus, Marginata, & my fav so far a Ponytail Palm. I like the Philodendrons & Monsteras but a little intimidated by them. Picked up a Monstera Peru so we’ll see how that goes!!
I'm SO jealous you have pterodactyl there! In Europe they don't exist. Ironically the Anthuriums are super cheap in the states and the rest of the plants are insanely expensive... In the EU philos are way cheaper.
Hi Ashley! I've missed seeing your videos! You are one of my favorite crazy plant ladies!! I bought the Wendlandii from a local garden center. I believe it was in a 4" pot but the plant and leaves are very small?? Maybe 1 to 1-1/2" long. Hopefully it is just a very young plant and the leaves will continue to get larger as the plant grows!?!?🤞 Love your other selections also!!👏👍❤️
Great doing a good job you make my day with smile and laughter God has made us unique and we are plants lovers I have these plants already u just have to take the best care give them manure and rain water 🌊 rice water in a few months u will surprise lots of blessings 😂😂❤
Thank you for video. But I’m can’t founded name of plants. ( you did it almost of end of video next to pants - “ Sweetish Ivy”. Green leaves with almost white waffles in the end
I've heard rumors of birkins pink. Never seen it though glad that it actually does exist! I will grow out a third eyeball n keep all eyes out for one xD great video thank u!
Makes me want to move somewhere close to there lol. If I didn't hate being in traffic so hard. I went one time last year and now that's all I talk and think about is Oakdale Greenhouse. I am in love with that place and wish I could work at a greenhouse. Just trade my paycheck for plants 😂
I used to live a few mins from there but we moved few wks ago. my collection has dwindled pretty bad between being gone for almost 3 most and moving. this video makes me wanna go plant shopping. ugghhh my husband will not be happy.
I’m liked you video. But please. 🙏 keep phocus. Camera better in tag - when you show ( what kind off plants you buy .. people - foreign- what you video too.

Would LOVE LOVE to see your entire plant collection!!! Plant Tour Please 🥰💚🪴🙌
I would be so overwhelmed with so many choices! Like taking a kid into a big toy store and telling them they can only pick one! But what FUN!
Completely!
When I need an escape and feel like I’m shopping but I can’t I just watch her and get excited and learn at the same time. My teacher!❤

As a German and having been to the Netherlands recently, I am in awe about the prices you have in the US…. HOLY MOLY!!!
I FREAKING love these type of plant videos
They’re beautiful!!! Some pricey but some are reasonable!!! Enjoy!!! 🌿🪴💚🙋🏼♀️🐩
❤️
I'd like to see more of the begonia section, the few you showed looked so gorgeous!

Ashley, thank you for the video. I got my wendlandii in Lowe’s for $14.98. I’m not fan of syngonuim but this plant caught my attention so pretty.
The Syngonium "Confetti" is really easy, and beautiful. Propagates easy too!!! 💚🤗🌱
That is awesome!

I absolutely loved this video. There were so many wonderful plants❤
Thank you so much!
similar to wedlandii is the syngonium rayii, it's darker and so velvety, I love mine
Oooo I’ll have to keep an eye out!
Saw a callathea yellow fusion today and loved it accept it had bugs. Was so bummed.
I got my spyngonym like that at Lowe's for $15.
Great find!
Wow, so many beauties! I don't think you could have picked anything better than the Anthurium Pterodactyl, I'm adding it to my very long wish list! Thanks for another great plant tour.

So huge and so many gorgeous plants!! I’m so jelly!!
💚💚
piper crocatum are surprisingly easy to grow. one of my faves.
💚💚
I appreciate your tours. Invest in some good grow lights so your plants can really thrive at home.
Thanks!
Is it possible to keep a focus small like that moonshine? I love them but have no indoor space left. lol

Fun Fact!: The Homabmena Humilis Black can actually grow in water as a aquatic plant
So cool!
Hi Ashley nice to see you love your sharing❤😊
Thank you! 🤗

I just got a philodendron red leaf 🍃 for $ 4.99. I hope to go back to that greenhouse soon.
Wonderful!
I’m excited to see a plant shopping video that’s not the same ole Home Depot and Lowe’s.
This shop was too crazy good this time,so tempting to get more plants, but you did 👍,
💚🌱🌵☘️💚
Yes it was!

Wonderful Tour!💜👍
Thanks so much!
I haven’t been to Oakdale in a while. Looks like I need to make a trip there!
I was shocked!
I've heard rumors of birkins pink. Never seen it though glad that it actually does exist! I will grow out a third eyeball n keep all eyes out for one xD great video thank u!
I’m stoked about it. I have to start checking out family owned nurseries out here on the coast of NC.
I believe Kaylee Ellen did a video on it last year or so... seems the pink won't last, like with pink congos.
@@LulaMae21 ah is it another pink Congo fiasco? Rip.
Not sure what the oscura ZZ is. Lucky ZZ I believe is supposed to have rounded leaves. (Also a ZZ-holic here haha)
Thank you!
Fun fact the plumosa fern or the "asparagus fern" is not a fern at all, it is an angiosperm belonging in the asparagacea family
Fascinating!
Where do you put all your plants.
😍😍😍 omg that syngonium
💚💚
Beautiful plant's Ashley thank u. 👌
Thanks for watching!
Ashley, you need a real greenhouse on your property so you can create your very own sanctuary to visit when ever you feel down...... 🙂🙂🙂
So true!
Not me instantly thinking by the title you went back for that $200 alocasia lol
Hahha 😂
I would have picked the Luxurians x radicans, the Pterodactyl
Great choices!
Haha! Thanks Ashley.. picked up that champagne jam this morning!!
Wonderful!!
Would've picked the Syngonium Wendii also!!! 💚🌱🤗
💚💚💚
I would go broke if I went there 😂
Haha it’s a struggle!
Makes me want to move somewhere close to there lol. If I didn't hate being in traffic so hard. I went one time last year and now that's all I talk and think about is Oakdale Greenhouse. I am in love with that place and wish I could work at a greenhouse. Just trade my paycheck for plants 😂
I know what you mean!
I with you I always need s o me plant time😊
Thanks Linda!
So this is my 2nd time watching this video...every time you say what happened to...and laugh, I bust out laughing with you... you videos are awesome
😂 thanks for watching!
10:00 is a White Knight. The fancy red petioles are a dead giveaway.
Thanks!
if you and I went to that place together, we might never get out. LOL. i would have been seriously over budget
Hahaha!
iwould love the pipper!
Great choice!
The pink birkin is supposedly a chemically induced plant, info from kaylee ellen's vid. Hope you didn't get it, still midway thro this.
That's what I was thinking, that pink Birkin was the one she made the video about.
Im honestly glad I don’t live near there because it would be dangerous for my wallet 😂
It is!
I used to live a few mins from there but we moved few wks ago. my collection has dwindled pretty bad between being gone for almost 3 most and moving. this video makes me wanna go plant shopping. ugghhh my husband will not be happy.
Hahha the struggle is real!
Welp. I know where I am going this weekend! #77north
💚💚
New video!!
🎉🎉😘😘
I would like to visit here one day just to go to this nursery. Could you send me the address?
Oakdale greenhouse in Charlotte, their address is online 🪴
Thank you. I see a road trip in my future. I have 152 plants lol it can get a little overwhelming but I love them so much.
😊😊😊😊😊
😘
🌺👍👍👍
💚💚
I’m liked you video. But please. 🙏 keep phocus. Camera better in tag - when you show ( what kind off plants you buy .. people - foreign- what you video too.
💚🌿💚🤗
💚💚
I love your videos but I must say Americans are so so obsessed with variegation, it’s quite amusing to watch 😅
Not all. Plenty of Americans don't care for variegation. I'm not one of them, but I've also loved variegation for many years.
Yes, I am totally obsessed 😂
I found one of those syngonium in a hanging basket at Walmart for cheap cheap 🙌🪴 I felt very lucky!
Oh wow!
That place is dangerous! I’ll max out my credit cards 💳👁️👄👁️ real quick! 😅🥲
Hahaha 😘😘
