Played for the first time today with a bunch of other 1st-time players. The hardest part of the game is learning how to set up. Playing flows nicely. My only hesitation on buying it is wondering about its staying power--how replayable it is. The cost of making a simple, approachable game is that eventually it will all feel the same, probably. But it was definitely a treat to try. Also, I can't be the only one to notice that Hulk + Cap abilities auto-win so long as you have cards to spare. And why is there a freaking squirrel instead of Thor? I wanted to leave all my enemies THUNDERSTRUCK AC-DC style.
5-minute Marvel, 10-minute review! ;-) Seems super fun, I love the character selection (although I'm sad to see no Kate Bishop). Most importantly, I'm already amused by the idea of playing the game when someone suddenly shouts "SQUIRREL!"
I've seen different covers. One with Spider-Gwen and Groot, and another cover with Black Widow and Thor instead. There aren't any different "versions" right? I can buy any version and get the whole game I hope?
@@thedicetower. I would prefer the dungeon theme over Marvel, but I've only played Dungeon so far. I see comments saying that marvel is also easier to beat which I am unsure I like. I felt that Dungeon was just enough of a challenge. I do like how the different heroes have their own decks in Marvel, though.
I had a mean comment regarding that outfit.. but decided to not post it.. Tom funny hats are enough, but this..? Stop it.. oops i guess that was mean anyway, but at least i was trying.. very hard.. just letting you know
I won't buy anything with the Marvel brand on it any more. After the appalling behaviour of their comic creators and other Social Justice Warriors who now have infested that company, I'm out for good.

Great game. Easier to win than 5 minute dungeon. Resetting takes the most time. Great use on the IP.

I don't think anyone in the history of anything has ever said that a yellow suit and top hat were deemed as formal or serious.
