Fantastic re-skin. Glad to see a kickstarter backed game got enough attention to snag such a high profile theme like Marvel.
I agree that is pretty sweet! Goes to show how awesome this game is and how well they did marketing it not only for Geeks but for non geeks as well!
I was so confused on how to play this game, but I watched this and then BOOM I'm playin it all the time now! I'm pretty close to being able to defeat Thanos. Thank you!

In 5-Minute Dungeon, when battling anyone except the final boss, I think you can lob ANY resource at the card just to redraw; you would not have to rely on a player power to discard and draw. They changed that rule for Marvel, which explains why you were relying on your wife's discard power when you were having trouble finding matching resources. Nice video.
Good point I didn't explicitly say that. But with Monica's ability it seemed to work better then just chucking cards, at least we felt like it. Thanks so much for watching!

5 minute dungeon and marvel timer is also a good idea to use when I take a short test or maybe a speed reading English as long as possible until time expires.

Yep! We tried Escape games(Curse of the Temple and Zombies), 5-Minute Dungeons, Dungeon Time, Unlock... As soon as there's a timer involved she gets nervous.
Bummer! Totally get it though. At least you can play most of these solo! But not so much on this one. . . Also I play Unlock with my wife and just pause the timer so we can enjoy the game :)
You guys should move away the played cards to avoid confusion. You accidentally kill one door card with using a blue from the previous door.

@@OneStopCoopShop yeah, we beat each boss on one try until we got to Thanos, he beat us 6 times. We were also doing a two player game
I played this half a dozen times at Gencon and really like it. I own 5 minute dungeon and still love the game and marginally like it more than 5 minute marvel but its close. IMO 5 minute marvel fixes a couple of problems with 5 minute dungeon such as what if your not playing a character who has the resources you need for a particular runthough and having the special character powers separate from the general resource deck gives you a bit more control. HOWEVER I just love the frantic nature of the game and its only 5 minutes of if you get locked up playing a hand *shrug* play again :).
Steve you are right, this game fixes a lot of things about the Dungeon version, and yet I still like that one better! With 3 player in Dungeon we just use a 4th deck and spread it between players so we are always playing with 4 decks of cards. Really helps make the game fun at 3 still. But regardless both are solid games, I just feel like I should not be able to defeat Thanos on my second try.
I agree fully, my friend,who was not a board gamer(he is now, muwahahaha :P), liked my 5 minute dungeon so playtested 5 minute marvel and bought it on the spot. We played it with his son that night and easily defeated everyone once we got into a grove and he loved it. I found it a bit too easy and genuinely thought we had played something wrong.
Awesome!! And yes it is too easy. I think you have more resource cards because it assumes you always have 5 players. The resource deck is set up for maximum players, so when you play with 2, you have TONS of cards at your disposal.
I've never beaten the final boss in 5-Minute Dungeon. I usually pick the Archer and my brother uses the Time Wizard.
Same! That is why Dungeon is much harder imo!
I like the art style, although the gameplay doesn't seem significantly different from 5 minute dungeon.
Between injuring yourself, 2 decks to draw instead of 1, generic resource cards instead of being focused on a specific resource, and how the crisis cards work I do feel they made a ton of updates to the game. One thing is for sure it is a TON easier which I wish was not the case, but it is fun regardless!
Nice to see some more videos from you, it's been a little while.
This seems like a nice quick party game. If it's easier than the other game you mentioned, then maybe that ease of play and accessibility would be beneficial to that, a party game where not everyone necessarily is a boardgamer.

If you think about it, the mere fact you watch a video of mine provides me with additional views, and therefore pushes the UA-cam algorithm to have my video found in a search which provides more views to the video and more visibility to the channel. So REALLY the thanks is all mine! :)
Your wife threw her cards in the mid instead of on the discard pile during one of the crisis 😱 happens to us as well, but problem is that you can't heal then. 😅
Ahhh so in this game there is no discard pile! The way you heal is by un-injuring yourself. Different from the 5 Minute Dungeon game!
One Stop Co-op Shop 😯 That is really different. Meaning: if your draw pile is empty, no chance to hop in again?! 😱

Oh that is awesome, I kind of like this version it seems it put the focus more on how you use the hero rather then then card themselves How many hero's come with the game?

i own 5 minute dungeon it's a fun chaotic game indeed. Watching this i will just stick with the dungeon one.

One of Capt America's abilities to pause time to trade cards with another hero- What is the point of THAT if you all play at the same time?!
I thought Captain America's ability was to heal a hero? Isn't that what it is?

His basic “mat” ability is to heal another hero, yes.
No idea . . . . maybe so you can trade a healing card to someone else??? Might want to ask on BGG sorry!

Which one is better? Dungeon or Marvel?
It all depends on what you are looking for. Theme hands down Marvel. Difficulty hands down Dungeon. But both are quite similar. I sold Marvel after 10 plays, and i still have Dungeon in my collection :)

Tell me about it! And in real time! I honestly am not a fan of that. I would prefer to just shuffle them into my resource deck.
