  • I love the sound of the Way Huge Swollen Pickle and Way Huge Pork Loin, but to have them both in the same enclosure is just magic. And a clean blend?

I'm pretty sure the Pork & Pickle has some internal pots as well.

Just looked and there are indeed 4 internal trim pots. But you know what, I’m just gonna pretend those don’t exist. Ah! Much better!

Yes! I got one of these a few months ago, and I think it will be on my board for a long time. I don't use OD or Fuzz very often, but when I do, it's to achieve very specific sounds. The versatility of the Pork & Pickle gives me everything I need, in one small pedal. The fuzz circuit pairs well with Octave and Chorus, too.

Hell yeah! Do you find that you’re switching settings during gigs or do you set it a certain way and leave it there?

@@ampthebassplayer Set it and forget it, but mostly just because I hate fiddling with knobs during a gig. I'm on a quest to find one setting for the dials that sounds great on both OD and Fuzz, so I can flip the switch but not have to turn any knobs.

Hey AMP, the fuzz is actually based on the Russian Pickle which is just a Russian Muff

Good to know! Thanks for clarifying.

Yeah Jeorge Tripps modeled the Russian Pickle part for part after one specific Green Russian Big Muff, after his friend (a muff enthusiast) told him the Swolen Pickle wasn’t muffy enough. This is Pork Lion + Russian Pickle (both of which are hard to find on their own). Great video!

I just hate the fact that I have to choose. I would love two footswitches and then be able to choose which comes first in the chain 😏

I swear every video on this pedal gets it wrong! The fuzz is the Russian Pickle, not the Swollen. Other than that, great stuff.
