Scot Alexander capably demonstrates the new Way Huge Pork and Pickle Bass Overdrive & Fuzz pedal, which weds the Pork Loin Overdrive and Russian Pickle Fuzz in unholy matrimony, and then optimizes each circuit for the low and rumbly.

I've been using the Dirty Donny edition of the Swollen Pickle for gigging for about five years now. Plenty of low end with the extra controls... almost too much at times (I also play through a PVH 1516). I got a Pork N Pickle arriving today for my second chain to boost my Greer Amps Super Hornet's low end (nasty) and also for an OD option. Very excited! Thanks for the vid. :)

Too bad you can't blend 'em. Way Huge pedals are, unfortunately, waaaay huuuuge. They gotta get with the times and slim them piggies down some. If they're gonna keep puttin' out pedals that're large in today's market, players should be able to use both sides at the same time. Sounds great though. 🎸🎸🎸

if this had a blend i would buy it in a second. this demo proves how awesome a blend would be.
Charles R. The clean preamp basically does just that (although adds a slightly fatter tone). I bought one and haven't missed being able to blend my original signal in
i should have clarified. i know you can blend in your clean tone. i meant blend the od and fuzz distortion circuits. like you can with the darkglass alpha omega.
Charles R. I had a peek inside. The external Drive pot is dual gang so you would never be happy with how that worked if the fuzz and od worked in series. I've also found that both settings have a completely different unity volume so that wouldn't balance out either
I don't think I've ever heard a pedal that can emulate an overdriven tube amp as well as this does. This has both the warmth and bite of an SVT at a fraction of the price and weight. I'm definitely going to be buying one of these!
What is the second song he plays?
Maybe the bass is sitting a little low in the mix for my liking, but the bottom end seems to be lacking a bit. Not a lot of warmth from my end. I really like the character of this pedal otherwise.
