- In fall of 2009, Modern Warfare 2 was one of the most popular games being played by teenagers all over the world. And the Adaptive Combat Rifle was one of the best weapons in the game's multiplayer.
I was one of these teenagers, and I've always wanted an airsoft ACR. Unfortuantely, Magpul PTS, the company that made the most realistic and externally well built version of the ACR, no longer exists. So how does the ICS rifle, the CXP APE, compare?

I have the acr gel blaster and I fell in love with it so much that I've literally rebuilt everything on the gun, I added a new metal gearbox with 13.1 high speed gears, metal barrel, Perun mosfet and a high speed brushless motor. After watching this video I'm getting me a Masada airsoft gun for sure!!
Hey man, what grip and other parts do you have? I just got same replica with the long barrel and going for similar build, looks sick and reminds me of the golden days
Hey man so the version you have is unfortunately out of stock. But the carbine length is in stock. Are these barrels interchangeable for shorter ones? I’ve built tons of m4 platforms dsg’s/ssg’s but I’m really trying to do exactly what you did with your acr 😂 o.g. mw2 was my favorite
From what I know, I believe so. I had previously emailed ICS with that question, and they will sell the short barrel to you if you email them.

@@civilianuseonly I thought about getting the A&K version but really digging the ics split gb and the fact that I can have a pts grip for better motor alignment lol

Not much actually
WE MSK Polymer handguard
PTS Epg-c grip
With the handguard, you'll notice some up and down wobble. I threaded a screw through the bottom that presses against the outer barrels and eliminates the wobble.
Why not the WE MSK aeg? Its a closer replica to the acr, and the only proprietary parts are the hop up and air nozzle. Rest of the parts are standard v2 gearbox parts.
It looks better, but the ics has better quality internals, is much easier to work on, and I like that you can switch the pistol grip on the ics
I know this is an older video, but how did you do the custom upper? Looking to do it to my own, looks very cool with the markings.

The cylinder head/nozzle/hop up are most definitely NOT standard M4 V2 parts.. theyre proprietary.
He did say that nozzle and hop up are proprietary. As for cylinder head, I wonder if G36 long cylinder head would work?
so how come you went with the ics over the a&k or pts one? i know pts can be difficult to find (especially the gbbr like i have) but the a&k would have been a better option for the price. love the build tho and the content in general
ICS split gearbox makes it easy to work on - and I hate doing gearbox work so anything helps. I also got the ICS used for less than a new A&K

Hi there. Would the handguard you brought also be able to fit onto the newer cxp ape. I ask because instead of key lok. The holes are m lok
I don't have the new one so I can't say. However, it looks like they haven't changed the dimensions of the gun, so my guess is that it would

just buy a real acr it would have to be a used one but still worth it.
The ICS CXP APE handguard looks GREAT. You just spent money to make your gun look worse.
