  • So happy everyone is safe, but at the end he was like “you forgot your bucket”. Kudos to the parents and their quick response for making sure the kids got out of the situation that could’ve traumatized them if something went wrong. Power of prayer, works!

He's clearly protecting his territory, but there's a level of trust in his relationship with the Keepers that can't be ignored here. He could have easily gotten through that door before the first gal could have dreamed of being able to shut it. But he just stood there and stared at her.

You’re right, he showed restraint he wanted to let them know that this is his space and he doesn’t want them in it. If he wanted to attack, we would definitely know. He could’ve easily bodied both of them.

Unfortunately gorillas don’t talk human! However the gorilla controlled the entire situation, knowing something was not right! And he allowed the staffer to leave his space safely! Primates have a lot more human in them, than we give them credit….. probably a lot more human than most humans!

He seemed more alarmed than aggressive,or he would have come directly for the first keeper.
Instead, he hits the box to make noise to scare them, then halts to get a good look at the first keeper.
He then checks for the second one but heads for the window and turns his back to it.
That was him getting both in a position for him to see clearly, turning his head back and forth.
The thing is, at that point, he's not turned toward he second keeper,he moves, and she ducks behind the tree.
He looks for her then, knows she's there,he knows where everyone is.
Then he turns and runs along the wall to the corner.
He did that to herd the keeper to the door because he wanted them gone.
At any moment, he could have easily gotten ahold of either of the keepers.
He could have run the second one down easily before she got to that door.
Instead, he goes for the white bucket looking for chow.
I don't think it was a territorial thing as much as a surprise and his reaction.
    But also a territorial response.
Because he first time he stopped to look at the keeper in the door,he put a tree in between them,as protection.
Once he saw who they were,he he recognized them,he knew what they smell like, ect.
Otherwise, I'm betting that if it was a stranger, he would've come for them.
When I would see it as a territorial threat.
I wonder if he had ever seen them in there before, and it freaked him out,lol

He may have sensed fear and was being protective...like he went over to the window to block the one guy who was looking in. And he charged one time...which is a way of breaking up fights and he didn't charge the keepers he just ran buy them. It shows he was on agitated but he stayed back and just watched and then got some food. So it is hard to tell what he was thinking.

I agree. I think he was just confused (obviously, that is evident) and was wondering why there was no barrier between him and the keepers. By nature, they're not aggressive and again, to me and my laymen's eyes, he was just confused at the situation as he is never in the same area as them without a barrier. He looked very confused and unsure of what to make of it.

1:44 gorilla thinking: 'why my friends are scared'. Come up with idea that it might be because of visitors behind the glass because they usually behave violently. Gets courage, scares visitors, saves friends whom he considers part of his family.
Remember, only 10% of human beings in whole world have "self awareness". Whose 90% have more neurons than gorillas so they can process deeper cognitive functions than gorillas, but not deep enough like whose who have cognitive functions such as: "cognition", "perception", "empathy", "morals", "unconditional love", who are "reciprocal altruists", etc

God's power cannot be quantified or explained from one particular freeze frame or one simple gaze sorted out from one catalyst's emotional state. A mere misunderstanding by one of the party up to this point or "play" would have been enough to change its trajectory real quickly. Three dimensional thinking isn't from the holy of thow. @Solitude11-11 3 місяці тому +1

It often happens that captive animals, or semi tame ones, are more dangerous than wild. Partly lack of fear or respect, partly possible frustration or mental issues from being in captivity. He was used to them being around, but not in that situation, quite probably felt threatened. And even in a bluff charge he could do serious damage without really meaning to. Captive animals don’t automatically love those who tend them.

I mean you already got your answers but yeah, obviously animals are way more stressed in cages. Plus Gorillas are of course quite smart. He didn't feel any anger towards the keepers, good for them.
The easiest situation to understand the difference between "free" and captivity are killer whales. They occasionally kill trainers and such in captivity. Not by accident, because they want to. They don't kill humans in the free. They're also incredibly smart and know exactly what's going on.

@@Xy-nw4iy and @rabbithole8592 I for one definitely do not have all the answers in the ways of God, but to say either everything must be perfect or else God can’t exist is a simplistic, dangerous and very ignorant way to think. Actually it is human beings that have turned many occurrences into disasters…not God. The “keepers” were at fault in this case in not making sure the gorilla was inside…not God. I believe people use this “excuse” because they know “if God is real” then they will have to change their behavior and the way they live their life. I sincerely pray you seek Him and His truth to change yours before it’s too late. 🙏🏼
