In the wild, everyday is a struggle to survive to say the least. In a zoo they are fed, there safe, a/c, and heat. There loved. They also have free health care. Where can you find that in the wild?
The problem would be : how do you observe them in their natural environment? If a bunch of people went traipsing through, it wouldn’t be THEIR NATURAL ENVIRONMENT anymore. You couldn’t get up slope to see any of them. Just a peek once in awhile. If the breeding programs are successful there will be more gorillas in the wild that if they were left in the wild. Gorillas are incredibly intelligent and very curious - so what is being done to engage these traits and to encourage them to exercise and utilise their natural behaviours…? It’s just not good enough to claim that because this troop is all ‘captive-born’, the members have no conception of their species’ natural habitat or activities! Indeed, ‘Monkey World’ in England has found that even ‘captive-born’ primates and monkeys can surprise their human keepers with displays of ‘natural behaviours’ - proving that some of these, at least, are instinctive - rather than being ‘learned’ purely from others ( nurture)! Individuals within a large group of gibbons ( donated by a Chilean laboratory) began to exhibit some ‘wild’ behaviours - despite being bred and born in that lab ( and caged with no sight of their neighbours - only their scent and sounds being accessible to all)!
Hmmm so maybe Annie going after Kiyo was more than just thinking he was too rough with Shabani on the other video . Or is it Jealousy 🤔 . Shes testing Kiyo lately . Shes not scared of him at all . Especially with poachers around

In a few moments Kiyomasa will become silverback
Its discusting me!!! THERE BELONGS TO THE FORREST!!! NOT IN AN GATES!!! WHERE ARE THE TREES?????????? 😢
Can they watch movies? Lay with toys? Jump on a trampoline? A fish tank?
How did they end up in the zoo? Were they purposely captured? Were they rescued from a dangerous situation?
They must be bored as hell
oh they are. this shit has to stop. theres only one reason why they sitting between this concrete walls. to generate money from bored idiots, that like watching this big brother crap.
Tiny jail cell. Fix this place
Yes, there is a large outdoors with a great structure with multiple levels to climb, swing and nap on. Look at some videos other than this one.
Annie is a daddy's girl and she knows it...they can teach some humans a lesson on being family oriented
No matter what you think of zoos, you can tell these gorillas are very well taken care of!
Yes the park looks like it's smaller than my house
Hmmm so maybe Annie going after Kiyo was more than just thinking he was too rough with Shabani on the other video . Or is it Jealousy 🤔 . Shes testing Kiyo lately . Shes not scared of him at all . I wonder if thats cause she knows Shabani has her back or because they grew up playing together and Kiyo is so lenient with her during play . Maybe both . But the way Kiyo squeezed his way back up out that door to make a run for it 😂 I cannot . I can only laugh during rough times because our lovely videographers ease our worried little minds by time the video comes to an end . Thats the only reason why I can make fun at the more serious incidents . Proud of Kiyo for sticking up for hisself before going back down to the basement . Its gona be a sad day when they split them even if its Kiyo to go very sad 😔♥️🦍 Love The Shabani Troop 🤞🏼
The problem is kyomasa is a spoiled brat that got his way his whole life because if he didn't his mommy would come protect him. But shabani is going to stick up for annie no matter what. Kyomasa just needs to grow up.
@@bigboytoyz541 I totally agree he was very spoiled . Which in a way Im glad he was from mom and also Shabanis fatherly love , both play and sterness when needed because he will be an amazing Silverback to his own troop one day . Having had both . He’s already so gentle with the girls when wanting physical attention . I hope that sticks when getting his own troop so his ladies love him .
@@she.around, he was and is still very spoiled by Nene and Nene and sometimes they disrupted the troop natural way of letting the silverback to teach boundaries to his son, so he could learn and can defend himself against others gorillas.
Can someone please explain what is happening between the 2 at around 4:30 mark and 6:40 mark?
HOW long do little males stay in the family
💗💗💗
Lol! Cute.
This is not an acceptable way of life for these magnificent animals. We can learn about animals without keeping them in jail.
As the Gorillas voluntarily go INSIDE to get out the rain 🙄
@@mos.hijinksthey’re captive gorillas who are bred to be dumb unfortunately. You’re part of the problem.
Why do your videos take so long to get to the caption
They look super depressed.
Let them be FREE!;,, ❤
95% of what I see is lettuce and some other type of leaves and grass looking. Where is all their fruits
So they can end up like Nene with no teeth?
These creatures are too intelligent to be kept in cages.
All's well that ends well, for now.😉
Heartbreaking 💔💔
❤❤❤❤❤❤😊
What are they doing in Tarzan's living room?
Such a small living environment 😢 ,, not even a canopy from rain outside ,, 😢trees , green ,, timber ,, not concrete and steal ,,in this day and age give them a better environment!!
Yes, there is a large outdoors with a great structure with multiple levels to climb, swing and nap on. Look at some videos other than this one.
Its Christmas everyday for them for sure
I so agree . So sad
They need grass, trees, nature. this is upsetting seeing them kept in this cement room.
These sanctuaries are good for animals who cannot be released back out in the wild for either medical issues or whatever, but that would be the only reason why that would be good for them
This is a very sad life for these wonderful animals. This is terrible.
Annie spoiled.... Shabani love's that girl!!!🙂
What if they're rescued, and can't be returned to the wild???
Could someone PLEASE list the names of these gorgeous beings and who they are within the family? I would be forever grateful ❤
Just tap on the video title. A box comes up telling the date of the video & other info. Where it says more...tap that & it will give you the names, date of births etc.
@@boomerv7291 Thank you so much! I really appreciate it 💗
Shabani-san hit him in the head and said, "what the hell's wrong with you?! Act like you have some sense!" 😂
Koyo has always been greedy and grabbed the best food..only sweet Shabani would allow that.
I know some people try their best to care for animals with little resources but this seems pretty cruel as far as their environment goes. We live in a world filled with incredible nature that doesn't cost a thing, they could at least attempt to make their habitat look a little less like a CONCRETE PRISON.
Isto nunca foi moradia para eles 😢
@1:07 literally swingin around like Donley Kong gorilla stereotype
Set them free back home…too sad for me
