I own a Turbo blue RS4 . It's got everything you need. Performance, comfort, agility practicality and looks. (Surprised how much attention it receives and turns heads) Special car 🚗
@car Magazine - As a serial RS4/RS6 owner, I completely agree that estates are the best daily choice of car... On that note why don't you guys get hold of a DRC equipped RS6, which has dramatically improved turn in and accuracy... you lose 10% ride comfort and gain 100% in handling prowess... I can tell you, when I drove the air suspension equipped RS6, I was not particularly enamored - it felt like I was driving a Flying Spur (which for some will be a positive) ... but having come from a B9 RS4 and M5 comp, I wanted slightly more tactility. Then I drove the DRC car, which was far superior... and when you get on the track in that, it all of a sudden is more playful than even the RS4 - Infact your mates over at Top gear back to back tested them and were blown away by the DRC car...
@Auchen888 Dolly - glad you enjoyed the video. We never had any issues with ground clearance during our time with the car, but admittedly we didn’t take it off-roading!
Another class act review report on the new RS4 Advant. Indeed, it offers such exciting road driving performance that comes with daily usability. and you also don't have to rob the bank to get it. Love your haircut, by the way.
As someone who owns a modified MK7 Golf R, I love sleepers as well. Giving older 911s a run for their money while I have 4 passengers will never stop being funny to me.
@@CARmagazineTV absolutely! And the chassis only gets better from there once you put some real tires on it (Michelin PS4S). And it's mighty quick with an ECU tune and uprated intercooler for hot summer days.
Alpina B3 Touring is the best compromise of the M3/RS4/C63 trio. It's an estate. It has 480hp. It has an 8 speed ZF auto. It has tight or supple suspension, depending on the mood. It has a rear biased 4wd system which is the best compromise between the fun C63 and the sensible RS4. It doesn't have that wank of a front grille the upcoming M3 has. Tick the right options and you'll have the coolest, sharpest looking sleeper on the road today.
Thank you so much for getting back to me .. the road is only for a short while and is pretty pockmarked but sounds like this RS4 will be okay ... either that or the RSQ3
People fool themselves thinking they can have both worlds and everything...this is no sports car, never was before and never will be. Fast does not make a sports car. If you want an estate just buy an estate not a confused gaz guzzling proposition which is what this is and every SUV as well for that matter. Same for similar offers from Benz, BMW te al.

Although it is a nice car, some posted the weight balance is front biased so the handling is compromised. Is it tending to understeered?

Quite the sleeper in a dark grey too.
Amazing video, and I now want an Audi RS4, good job CAR Magazine ...
Glad you enjoyed! Don’t forget to subscribe and turn notifications on for more ☺️
Here best review and what a car , has it got the ground clearance for dodgy roads though ? Would love to know

Love my fast estates, the rs4 is such a do everything car - my Skoda 206 estate is fun and practical and channels this flexibility albeit less power!
This would fit into my life extremely well. The upcoming M3 Touring would fit into my life even better (I suspect...)

Glad you enjoyed the video (and the haircut)!

Hopefully you’ve seen our video on the MK7 Golf R!

No doubt the B3 is an excellent car 👌
How about an Alpina 340d wagon with more power & torque it would have?
Love the lunar silver leather, quite rare and an RS exclusive colour only
Great vid lads!
Thanks!

RS4 should be fine! But test drive first 😉

Good review. But arms like a t rex concerned me a little bit with the grannie closeness to the steering wheel.
Volvo 850 T5 started the trend in the modern era for me esp in the hands of da filthy police

Hello there :)

You’ve missed the point.

Just say you've never experienced one. Much more accurate.
